    The service was perfect, Jerry got the things fixed and went right on it when I called them. It turned out to be the compressor of the air conditioner needs replacement. He got someone to come and replaced the compressor on a Wednesday and everything got fixed on a Friday.

    In the summer of 2017, we had Inman Air install for us a new AC Unit and Furnace and some new duct work. The cost of the total job was $12, 370.00. From the very beginning we started having issues with our HVAC system. The system would shut done and give error codes. I have called Inman Air numerous times about this and they would have someone come out and reset the system. During this time, they said they inspected the entire system and could not find any issues. Finally, after 14 months of the same problem, I called them demanding they find what the issue is and fix it. Also, I wanted them to install a new Humidifier on the HVAC system. When the gentleman arrived for Inman Air to trouble shoot the system and to install the humidifier, he told me that the system was not getting enough air and he needed to install a register vent in the furnace closet on the cold-air side to allow more airflow. He also completed installing the humidifier which cost me $650.00. Within the first week, I notice the humidifier not working properly. It was then I decided that I needed to contact another heating and cooling company to come and inspect my HVAC system and to tell me if I had a botched up HVAC system. Sean Ciaramitaro who works for Budget Heating, Cooling and Plumbing came to my home to inspect my HVAC system. During his inspection, Sean noticed the return drop was 12 x 24 x 4 with a cap on it going into an 8��� inch flex tube and going back into the end of a 16 x 8 duct. Sean told me that the airflow was bottle necking and there is no way it can effectively create enough airflow for the system to work properly. When Sean told me this, I also shared with him that I had to remove the furnace filter to keep the system from shutting down. While inside the furnace closet, Sean notice the register vent installed on the cold-air duct inside the furnace closet. Sean let me know when Inman Air installed that register vent in the furnace room that it was against code to put a vent into the furnace room due to combustible air being distributed throughout my home. Sean continued to inspect the duck work in which he noticed that someone bent back all of the ends of the return end caps in the basement, which Sean believed Inman Air was trying to add more air flow into the system coming from the finished basement. Sean also noticed that they did not install combustion grills, one high and one low going into the furnace room. As Sean continued to inspect other areas, he notice that the line set was not properly secured which cause it to hang low as well as the hole that they drilled on the outside wall for the line set that was not sealed allowing cold air into the finish basement. Upon inspecting the humidifier, Sean noticed that the humidifier was installed improperly. He told me that the humidifier was installed on the supply side and the humidistat was also installed on the supply side just one foot away from the humidifier. Sean explained what was happening was that the humidifier would turn on and run for a few minutes and then turn back off because of humidity satisfaction and then come back on again about 10 minutes later and then turn back off. So my humidifier was only putting humidity in the duct work just two feet and turning off. My system was never producing humidity into my home. Sean did inform me that if I did not call him and just let the system operate the it was, that the system would have started blowing out the blower motor and inducer motor which would have turned into a much greater problem due to the lack of static pressure in my furnace. Sean let me know that to correct the bottle neck cold air return, he would need to add another 4 foot of 16 x 8 duct and then install a new return drop that would come down. Then he would add a radius 90 that is the same size as the drop which is 12 x 24 going into the side of the furnace. This would also eliminate the not coded register vent in the furnace closet. He would also install one high and one low combustion grills on the furnace closet outside walls. To correct the line set issue. Sean would secure the line set and fix the hole that is allowing cold air into my home. Also, Sean would re-install the humidistat on the cold-air side and fix the hole in the ductwork where he had to remove the humidistat. Also, he would fix the end caps on the cold-air ducting so the air pulls from where is should be pulling. So to fix all these issues plus the service calls and to bring my HVAC system up to code would cost me $2, 506.12. Ever since Budget heating, Cooling and Plumbing has fixed all the issues on my heating and cooling system, I am now able to use a filter again, my humidifier is working properly and my system has never shut down. Inman Air has be notified about all these issue and asking them to reimburse me the $2,506.12 that it cost me for their botched up work. But they have refuse to respond and make it right with me. I am just hoping that the blower motor and the inducer motor is not damaged already.

Not only did they fix the furnace and humidifier he showed me a few things to make my system run more effeiciently and extend the HVAC's lilfetime. They were not looking to find ways to bill me more but looking to be as helpful and effective as possible. Can't say enough good things about the team at Air Alliance.

    This review provided by Robert Zahner: First, I couldn't believe how quickly Charlie (the owner) called me with a quote (10 minutes at most) and he provided a very reasonable price to do the work and said the work could be scheduled for the same day or next which surprised me so scheduled the work for the next day and two men were here early, not late, and they were very nice and professional. They did a good job of cleaning and checking the furnace. Since a new filter was required, they installed one which cost only $5.00 which was a bargain since the filter for our furnace normally cost almost twice the one they installed. They also gave me an estimate of how much it would cost to install a new furnace and a/c which was reasonable so I may call them for this in the future. I told them I would be recommending them to my son and anyone else.

    I called Charlie early in the morning and he said he would be right over and he came to our home right away and quickly diagnosed the problem which was the furnace needed a new ignited. Charlie said he had used the last ignited that was required for our particular furnace the day prior and said he would go to St. Louis right away and pick up the part and return as soon as he could. He did return in about 2 hours and installed the part. After he completed the repair I asked him if he had time to install a new thermastat that I had picked up recently and he said sure and installed it in a very short period of time and I am pretty certain he didn't charge for the thermastat since the bill was very reasonable. I will recommend him to my family and friends and use his company whenever we need heating and cooling work in the future. .

    The installation was fine. It was installed 1/24/18. However, this Sunday thermostat quit working. I called the Company that installed it and was happy they could come out to fix it. Sunday was a hot day. It turns out there was nothing wrong with the thermostat, a couple of wires coming in the furnace from the air conditioner were burned and blew fuse. They repaired the problem and I paid them thinking Total Comfort would reimburse me, since it was there fault. Evidently I should have paid the show up fee to the company that came out to fix the thermostat, send them on their way. Call Total Comfort and wait in the heat for them to come out and fix the melted wires that caused the problem. Of course It should be okay with me because the lady did tell me to have a blessed day after she refused to work with me.
