Hunter's Lawn Care & Tree Service
Hunter's Lawn Care proves themselves time and time again. Multiple times I had called to get estimates from Shane and I am impressed and more than happy every time. Their completed work is breath-taking and the cleanup of jobs is as if you could never tell they were present! I would recommend Shane and his company, Hunter's Lawn Care & Tree Service, for any tree or landscape need I may have. Friendly, affordable, and very knowledgeable!

They were a great company to work with. They did a really nice job on the roof. And when they finished they cleaned up so well you wouldnt have known they were there. I would recommend them to anyone!

    Brian's Handyman Service
He was prompt in getting a work estimate back to us as well as prompt in getting the work finished. He cleaning everything up well. He even repaired an item that was not in his scope of work but saw that it needed repair, and he did not charge extra. I would gladly hire him again!

    BARNES ROOFING
Great- Mary did a great job with all the various quotes I asked for and Mark and his team were great to work with. Beautiful job, professional team, clean when done, worked directly with Wallis guttering. Definitely the right group to work with. Have worked with others and Barnes was much better. Mark found several other small problems and just fixed them in process (not part of bid). This was a big roof (60 square plus three square of TPM flat roof.

    A 1 Construction & Exteriors
We had A-1 roofing company give us a bid for re roofing our house and garage. He was supposed to replace any sheathing that needed replaced which he failed to do. He finally replaced the wood that needed replaced after we put some pressure on him.We also have a flat roof on our house which he replaced and a few week's ago it started leaking, they were not bad leak's just a few drip's. I called him and asked him to com look at it. He said he would be up to check on it and he never showed up. I called him back and told him I wanted it torn off and replaced along with any bad wood that needed replaced. He said he was not going to replace it. We paid him $ 15'000 dollar's to do the job. He gave us a 10 year warranty on labor and materials.I would not recommend him to replace the roof on a dog house much less than a house if I knew about his company.

    J&R Roofing & Construction
The man that called refused to identify himself or even answer my questions in helping me to identify which company he worked for (because i made contact with three via online) and then hung up on me in mid-sentence. I believe that professionalism and respect are important in any relationship not to mention first impressions of a company that you wll be paying upwards of 40,000 for a roof on your home. This gentleman obviously doesn't value customers given the rudeness he displayed to me, a prospective customer. Would not recommend.

    A 1 Construction & Exteriors
We hired this contractor because we wanted one crew who could do the 3 jobs we needed done rather than try to juggle 3 contractors schedules. Because of our split work schedules we needed the work done between a Wed thru Sat and we made that very clear numerous times. Chuck was quick to respond to bid the job, and to return the next day for us to pick colors, sign the contract and require a LARGE check for the deposit. WE PUT DOWN HALF OF THE CONTRACTED PRICE AS A DEPOSIT. That was all that went smoothly! SEVERAL appts were made, supplies were even delivered (and when they were delivered the guttering supplies/roof vents etc were laid in the yard, next to the alley where anyone could have just pulled up and loaded them up-so WE had to move them all to the porch). A disposal trailer was placed in our driveway (which was fine thinking the job would be SURELY be done in a couple days - while we parked vehicles on the street!) but no crews ever showed up. Many many many phone calls and promises happened but after 8 appts total (2 maybe 3 were due to rain) we had had enough and cancelled the contract. Come to find out this company does not employ regular crews, it hires different crews from wherever, whenever. Plus a separate contractor hired for the guttering. We were under the initial assumption that Chuck EMPLOYED crews (HIS CREW/EMPLOYEES-not subcontractors). If we had known that he subbed things out he would not have gotten the bid. When we cancelled, and asked for our deposit back immediately, Chuck refused until the supplies could be retrieved from our roof. He was suddenly "too busy" to come back to town and return the money that we paid him BEFORE supplies were delivered or work was started. Chuck was rude and short and hung up on me twice, refusing to return the deposit until the supplies could be picked up. He and my husband finally agreed that could be done on Saturday (when the supplier could come back and get them down) and a check would be given to us then. When this was done, the supplier pointed out that they had knocked off a vent while placing the supplies on the roof, which left an exposed opening (and it had rained a couple times on the supplies). The contractor did leave a vent and had them seal it down and left a check, assuring us it was good. Then wrote on the voided contract that he was "not responsible for any damages"???????? We deposited the check on a Saturday, the check was sent to his bank on Monday only to find out on Tuesday that it "would not clear at this time". After many phone calls and emails my husband called Chuck on Wednesday who contacted his bank. He told us he was going in the next morning to "clear it up". My husband received a call later from the contractor, his bank, and our bank, that the check had been covered and would be paid. All of this inconveniencing our bank and us, all the while holding up getting the roof replaced for yet ANOTHER week! We thought we researched our choices in roofers well...but learned important questions to still ask: Do you have personal references? (Because obviously a few sporadic reviews can give false grades) Do you employ your own crew? Materials warranty comes from the manufacturer but what happens to the labor warranty when you use various crews or retire? How long will it take to complete this work? Will YOU (the contractor) ever be on site? and I don't know about most other companies policies but we will NEVER give a deposit this large (half of the job costs) to a company up front again! Total: we are out several weeks of stress and aggravation and STILL HAVE NO ROOF!!! Not to mention the guttering! Buyer beware! Even an "A" rating on Angies List can spell disaster! Be sure to check the number of ratings and how old they are!

    Mike Rose Roofing
I thought this place had a good reputation. Called to have them come out for an estimate on a tree we needed taken down, the price was reasonable. We were scheduled for the following week. We have been stood up by companies before and my paranoia got the best of me so I didn't call before they were scheduled just to confirm. They were scheduled to come on Thursday. My husband waited around the house to pay them, but nobody showed up. So I call and eventually speak to the tree guy who said they were having an issue with their current job and it would not be today. I understand, it was a massive heat wave and things pop up. SO I ask about Friday-so Friday is a go. Again, I let my husband know. Waiting and waiting. No show. No call. To save space here, a customer should never have to chase down the help! We are reasonable, if a reschedule had to happen then fine. But why isn't anyone calling the customer. I would not recommend this company because I wouldn't want anyone else to be treated like an annoyance just for, God forbid, trying to get a date and time. People have jobs and appointments they have to work around. I had no more confidence and couldn't rearrange schedules anymore, so after getting another run around I told them to cancel the whole thing. No apology. Very rude.

    Shelton Siding Co
It went very good took about a month to complete the job but we did have rain days in there. This company has been around for years and are very well known and trusted. They installed siding and windows on another house of ours about 15 years ago and we have never had any problems or issues with their workmanship or products. I highly recommend this company if you are needing anything done. Ron is very quick to respond if you have questions or concerns and I love that. Very professional and easy to work with. I will definitely use them for any and all jobs we have in our future!!!
