    Mike was here on time, the day after I called. He ordered and replaced parts in the refrigerator and dishwasher. I can hardly believe my dishwasher could be so quiet. And I���m glad I only had to wait a day for my fridge to defrost so he could fix it! Mike also helped me understand why my clothes took more than one cycle to dry on the delicate cycle - my loads were too small to touch the sensor. He cleaned the sensor just to be sure, checked the air flow outside and removed some lint. He told me he could replace a dryer part but it didn���t really need it- I could hit start a lot of times with delicate loads for the amount of money it would cost - since it dries just fine on the normal cycle. He didn���t charge for the dryer work and was very fair and reasonable on the dishwasher and refrigerator. I had contacted several repairmen before calling Crews so I���m happy with the charges. Mike does a clear and simple, yet very informative, job of explaining the problems and how the repair will help. I will definitely call Crews if I need appliance repair again.

    Mike initially came over to my home on Tuesday, October 16, to check out my appliances. He first inspected a refrigerator/freezer issue, in which the freezer was getting too cold while the refrigerator was too warm over a couple of days, and then later the freezer leaked a good amount of water but the refrigerator/freezer began working normal, again. Mike spent about 45 minutes taking apart the freezer compartment to access the back panel, which he removed. We found evidence that the unit had frozen up, but it was now running fine. Mike checked out the unit thoroughly and explained to me what he was doing and why, which I much appreciated. During our discussion, it was revealed that a family member had left the freezer door ajar for several hours one day not long ago, which is the very likely cause of why the unit later froze up and caused the symptoms we were seeing. Though the unit appeared to be fine now, Mike checked everything out to make sure there were no other issues and the refrigerator/freezer was in good working order, which was the case. For all of his inspection work, I was only charged $35.00. For the washing machine, Mike checked out its overall operation, too. Because the symptoms we were stating to see (an LF code in the past week, the detergent and fabric softener dispensers having a lot of residue in them) were consistent with what we experienced 4 years ago (and 3 years before then), the issue was due, again, to the unit's water valve not working properly. As it turned out, Keeven Appliance and specifically Mike replaced the water valve, which seems to only be good for every 3-4 years since we bought the unit, 4 years ago on this unit. Because Mike didn't have the part in stock, he had it ordered. The part came in 2-days later, and I was able to get Mike back out the next day (Friday, October 19th) to swap out the water valve. Mike is a really nice person who knows his appliance repair business, and he was very friendly and willing to answer all of my questions.

    The first appointment was scheduled for 09/24 for sometime between noon and 4 pm. I took off work for this. The repair person called me after 4 pm and said he should be there by 5 pm. I had to be somewhere at 6 pm so we agreed to reschedule. I called Sears to reschedule and they had already rescheduled me for an inappropriate time. We agreed to reschedule for Saturday, 09/29. Sears called me early that morning and informed me that the repair person had called in sick and would not be coming. I went about my business for the day and around 1 pm, the repair person called to tell me he was on his way. I wasn���t even home. I told him that Sears had called me and emailed me and cancelled the appointment. He was surprised and didn���t know anything about that. We did discuss my washing machine issues over the phone and I learned from him that most likely, it would be a repair cost that would be more than buying a new washer. I don���t know if that is true. Sears scheduling is extremely disorganized and in addition to that, they charge a $105 diagnostic fee which is higher than other repair services by approximately 20%. I would never attempt to use them again, big waste of time.

    The F9 code on internet showed a problem with oven door lock. Nick did not think that was the problem area. He said he had a idea what the problem was but would not proceed until he talked to GE Tech support. He was right and a blower motor was problem. He ordered the part replace fan and check old fan and that was the problem. I would always us Nick, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. 12 out of a 10!

    Nick came out and answered all my questions. He was extremely professional. The first time he came out he needed to order parts. The company called and let me know the parts were running a little late and we rescheduled the second appointment over the phone. Nick came back and got everything working quickly. He even helped take apart components so I could clean them thoroughly before loading any food.

    Went very smoothly. Mike knew instantly what the problem was and ordered the part right then. He went further in scheduling a return date to install it. When he came to install, he was done in exactly the time frame he said. Although we felt it was a little on the expensive side, it was well worth it. This company was so much better than our previous repair service.

    BUYER BEWARE! Unethically, they overcharge you on parts, labor & service charge. They didn't disclose to me over the phone the $79.50 service charge. I didn't find out until the service man quoted me. I was charged $88 for a $22 part on Ebay ( WP3387747 Dryer Heater Heating Element fits Whirlpool Kenmore AP6008281 ). $107 labor which takes 5 minutes to do, plus a $79.50 service charge. I spoke with Jessica Primeau , the manager, in regards to the overcharging and she would not adjust the price. Jessica stated that the part was more expensive because they get it straight from the manufacturer and it's not always available. Really? Go to Ebay and it's fast and free shipping for only $22 brand new and they have thousands available.

    We paid for this dishwasher at the discount store, but not for the labor of installation. They had a little delay in response. I have a monthly charge that comes out of my account and takes care of any repair for indoor electrical, plumbing and exterior plumbing and water repair.

    Good communications prior to actual appointment. Technician did not have full understanding of what was causing issues with the water softener. He fixed the drainage issue but left another problem hoping the drainage issue would take care of that as well since he wasn't sure.

    The repairman, Sam Shillig did a great job. He even worked with the manufacturer of the double oven to get them to make a part specifically for my oven that was no longer available. I appreciate Sam diligence in working with the overseas manufacturer to allow me to not have to purchase a new oven. Sam was professional and resourceful. I would definitely use them again.
