  • We have been going to Dr. Rand W. Sommer for 10 or 12 years at least. He is actually a rheumatologist, but we go to him for general care. The experience is fine. We trust his knowledge - he's been in practice quite a while. He is pleasant, we like him personally and feel that he is a sincere person. He is concerned and you are not just rushed through. He is not only well-trained professionally but I think he has concern for people. I usually go every three months so they are scheduled three months in advance. My husband had a bad cold and they were able to see him the next day after he called. I'm sure they will fit you in with one of the Doctors when you need them. The staff is pleasant and seem efficient. This is a Doctors Office Building that is part of the Hospital complex, so I think a lot of things like billing is handled by the Hospital. The process is pretty standard: they have you do the paperwork and then take you in to a room and do the routine observations. I've never had to wait very long.

  • I have been going to Dr. Nicholas for like 10 or 12 years. I like that he is open to integrated medicine. He is not just Western medicine, but he will talk about diet and supplements and stuff like that. He is director of Gastroenterology at St. Mary's. His specialty is gastroenterology. It can be tricky to get into see him. His staff is great.

  • Dr. Galli is just great. Nice guy, smart, listens, does not waste time but doesn't rush either. He is not one to order excessive tests or over treat, but he is persistent and will get the answers when needed. He has a very balanced approach to medicine. I get the impression that he is very patient centered in his practice.

  • He is an internist and not specialized in digestive care. My wife is in the medical field and he was recommended to her by several people. I have not gone to him for long enough to recommend him to someone.

  • I'm torn on whether or not to use Dr. Konkol again.  There's something about her personality that's a bit short and mildly abrasive.  She didn't give me the warm and fuzzies, but she also is very straight to the point and doesn't waste any time.  She did have to reschedule several of my check-ups, but all in all, it was a decent experience.

  • She spends a lot of time with you. She will sit down with you and ask you what is going on. When I was hospitalized for something else, she still came to see me. The overall experience is excellent. It takes a while to get an appointment because she is booked up. You can call in and ask the nurse a question and she goes to the doctor for an answer. She will come back with what the doctor recommends, so in that sense she is available. The staff is friendly. Sometimes she is not punctual, but I know she is going to spend the same amount of time with me, so that is OK. I will continue to see Dr. Niesen.

  • My husband and I both use him. He is nice. We can get to him. He is there when needed. He is thorough. I have not used him for very long. I use him for regular check ups, as well as pre operative check ups. I will continue to use them in the future.

  • I went to a doctor because I wasn't feeling well; I thought it was a stomach problem. He told me I was having heart failure and they admitted me to the hospital. That's how I got Metro Heart Group. In reality it was another doctor referral. They told me I was going to have to have a heart transplant and that I was dying. Miracles happen and I'm as healthy as a horse. I did three years of rehab. They said the odds of what happened to me had the same odds as winning the lottery two days in a row, of not only what happened to me but also that it corrected itself. When people save your life you have to give them an A. I have recommended them to others.

  • What I like most about him is his personal interest in his patients. He is willing to explain conditions or symptoms and health issues. He is educational. He does good follow up. They happen to have their own lab so it makes it more convenient. Everybody waits at the doctor's office it is just a question of how long. The wait in his office is pretty brief.

  • Dr. Fan does a good job. On a few occasions, he has caught problems we didn't know we had. Communications is a bit hard since English isn't his first language, but overall, he's a good doctor.

The office staff are a bit grumpy, though. It makes being in the office less than pleasant.
