  • I was disappointed when my car's original dealer tires only lasted 30,000 miles. I was expecting tires to last around 50,000 miles. I shopped around for new tires and found Telle Tire. I liked their Continental tire recommendation. Continental True Contact is well rated by Consumer Reports and [*** Link removed ***] The $100 price per tire was quite good. Continental rates the tire at 60,0000 mile. I was unfamiliar with Continental. Without the recommendation I wouldn't have checked Continental. Though I'll see how the tires perform. Tires replaced, synthetic oil changed and multipoint inspection done as expected. Waiting room is quiet so I can read or talk.   • I always dread safety inspections, as it's hard to trust if a facility is failing your vehicle knowing that you'll have little choice but to have them complete the work. We had a great experience with both safety and emission inspections here at Telle Tire. They also checked the brakes on my wife's car and replaced the front brakes and let us know we could wait a few months on the rear breaks. We were never pressured into any additional services and feel that we can trust their assessments and recommendations, a rarity with mechanics. We'll use them for all our tire and auto needs in the future.

  • This is a great company to work with.  Everyone I have spoken with in the office has been very professional, answered all of my questions and kept me well informed about the work being done. Also, sometimes auto services can be miserable as a woman.  Especially if one does not wish to be spoken down to or ripped off.  That is NOT the case here.  At Central Auto they simply treat everyone appropriately. That should not need to be said but it does. I went to a different body shop that was so creepy I walked out. Another place tried to bully me in to paying more money for less work than we had agreed. Dealing with Central was such a relief after that.
    The best way to assess the work completed would be to inspect it.  It seriously looks like no unfortunate incident has ever befallen the car.  They had to paint the new door and make sure everything matches up.  Perfect.  I hope I never have to, but if I needed to get body work on a car again, I would go straight there and not bother with any other shop.

  • Our car was damaged in the spring snow (drove over an unplowed section that had frozen, and it tore off the undercarriage protector and front bumper). Our insurance company referred us to EBG, and they said it would take a few days to get the new part, fix it, and repaint the car. They were very accommodating and called a rental car agency for us.
    Once the car was in the shop, we got a couple updates during the process of repairs -- letting us know they had the new bumper, timeline for fixing it, etc. Then a few days later we got our car back as good as new -- paint matched, even though the car is almost 8 years old. They even gave us a coffee mug.
    I hope not to need them again, for obvious reasons, but if I did, I would definitely go back. If you need auto body work I would highly recommend them.

  • I trust them as I have been using them from a long time and because they are very friendly, knowledgeable, and that they are very consistent with their employees. They work with me and listen to the issues. They even drove my car to know the problem and they seem to get it right all the time.

  • The time frame, one day, extended on and on -- I waited for hours, then was told it would not be completed that day. I sensed that there were problems with working on my brakes etc.  that the shop did not foresee.  I honestly did not think that the shop was capable of doing more than replacing tires, and I sense that the other work was just too much for them. The work took way too long and the service reps did not have any good explanation for this.

  • My son's 1997 Civic was costing me a great deal of money at the Honda dealership plus a couple big box stores that I tried. In summer 2012 I received a referral to Gary Parks at Marshall's. He drove the car around with me and diagnosed the problem that was causing an odd sound - that visit cost me less than $40 - in addition, he took me to get a rental car and picked me up from the leasing office when my car was done.
    The starter failed in the Civic this past August, AAA towed it to Marshall's and It was done the same day! They did an inspection on our SUV around the same time, and the price was just right.
    This is a neighborhood shop, and I truly trust these guys.

  • We brought our car to another company and they wanted to replace the whole air conditioning unit for $1,200 while the guy from Knight Auto Air just fixed what was needed to be repaired. He was efficient and was a nice guy. He got it done quickly. But more importantly, he fixed it without charging us for something that did not need to be fixed. I am sure that other people would have a good experience there too. The guy has been there for a long time and he is a friend of the business owner.

  • I was able to arrange an appointment for a time at my convenience within 2 days of my initial phone call.  When I arrived, they offered me a ride back home. I declined, but only because I wanted to check out the plant nursery a few feet down the road.  Although the inspection took longer than expected, it was completed within the day.  I had requested that they review some things that were mentioned in my owner's manual, and they didn't charge extra for it.  They did mention that my timing belt was past due to be replaced, but that I could probably wait awhile before replacing it.  There was absolutely no pressure, and they were very friendly.  Would definitely use them again!

  • Teens shot out the window on a Saturday with a BB gun. My wife called and arranged for them to perform the work at her workplace on Monday. We did not shop around for quotes or prices. Monday morning, she was unable to start her car (turned out to be flooded... unrelated) and she was able to call them and arrange for them to come to the house instead. The folks on the phone were sympathetic and courteous. Window still works fine months later.
