    Platinum Painting
Cristil came out on a Friday afternoon and emailed a bid to us within 24 hrs. We were impressed by her prompt response and attention to detail. Saul, Alejandra and Roberto arrived on time and immediately set about the task at hand. They were very pleasant throughout the whole process. They were very detailed-oriented and exhibited a professional and friendly attitude from beginning to end. It is without hesitation that my husband and I would highly recommend Platinum Painting for all your painting needs.

    Neighborhood Painting, Inc.
The representative wrote down the wrong time for our appointment, so arrived earlier than I was expecting. Not a big deal unless you are getting ready for work and not even dressed yet when he arrives. He immediately handed me a brochure and proceeded to tell me why their company is so great. At that point, I knew this would be a high estimate. He walked the perimeter, making notes along the way, but didn't ask me any questions about what I wanted (windows removed or left in place, etc.) which I thought was odd. Estimates from other vendors ranged from $1,500-$3K. Neighborhood Painting wanted $7K!!!!!! I can't imagine what they would charge for having to paint an entire, non-brick house. So, either this company charges exorbitant prices, or they really didn't want my business and quoted an extremely high figure. Either way, I won't be calling them in the future, or recommending them to anyone else. I hired a vendor for $2,300 and they did a fantastic job (all HAND BRUSHED btw) and my house looks beautiful with a paint job that should last the expected 10 years. While I can't speak to the quality of work that Neighborhood Painting provides, I don't believe they would/could have done anything more than the company I hired to warrant the tripled asking price.

    Good Neighbor Services, LLC
Good Neighbor Services painted our house and trim in Raytown, Missouri. Sam and his crew were very punctual and professional. They told us exactly what needed to be done and how they were going to do it. Every evening when they finished, they cleaned up the tools and left no mess. We were very pleased with the color, the paint, and the job that was completed. I would recommend Good Neighbor Services to all of my friends!!!

    Rasco's Repair Removal and Cleaning
I hired Kurtis and his contractors to remodel several projects located in Kansas City. Mr. Rasco started off very good. However, after working with him I started getting excuses on why the jobs were taking longer to complete was because of lack of help and good workers. I offered to help him locate new help to get the jobs done as quickly as possible. After locating these contractors for him I started noticing that he was very aggressive  with them and running off help and not paying them for work they have performed. I had several conversation with Mr. Rasco and tried to resolve these issues with him. Putting my trust in him I gave him more money along with referring him other jobs to continue supporting him I found that he wasn't getting any better with the quality and results of completing the jobs. After having several conversations I came to the conclusion that he wouldn't be finishing the jobs I asked for the money that has been paid towards these projects and he claimed he didn't have any money left. I asked for reciepts and cost of materials for each job to see what he had spent and would like to come to some kind of resolution and resolve this in a professional manner and he declined to finish them or refund any money at all. In fact, he said he had no intentions on resolving this for any reason. I have filed a formal complaint to the Missouri Attorney Genrerals office, BBB and plan on filing a lawsuit against Mr. Rasco (AKA Rasco's Remodeling and Repair) very soon. I've also contacted any referrals I gave him and they've also had the same experience and will also be filing lawsuits against him and his company as well. BUYER BEWARE!

    Water-A-Way Guttering L.L.C.
I want to give this company proper kudos for a job well done with painting the exterior of my home.  I originally hired this company from Angie's list to clean my guttering months before I hired them to paint the exterior of my home.  Tricia whom I had the pleasure to speak with is very professional, and genuinely cares about her clientele.  I'd sign up originally for the $249.00 good for 8 hours of painting, but I knew I wanted an extensive exterior paint job to do the job right, and to pay extra for their service. The project didn't take long.  I met with them for a pre-inspection on August 22, 2015.  The work begin on September 1st, and the work was finished on September 5th.  The workers took care of my home as if they were taking care of their home. Communication is always a key in personal or business relationships, and the entire Water-A-Way guttering team kept me in the loop for any additional unseen repairs, at a reasonable cost.  Needless to say don't let the name describe the company as a guttering company.  This company is an A list for painting as well, and guarantee their work for 5 years.  I don't do shout outs ordinarily, but I want to give credit to where credit is deserve. This company is the real deal, and anyone needing to have their house painted to give this company an opportunity to bid on your project.  I'm glad I did.

    Dale Enterprize
He started and finished everything I needed and was on time with everything. He left no trash or anything for me to clean up, after the job was completed. And I was able to leave and run errands and I didn't have to worry about locking the house up. When I got home I couldn't even tell he had been there.

CertaPro Painters of Northern Jackson County
Ramiro and his team did an excellent job on our home.  They did a great job matching our existing paint color, replacing trim, and even went the extra mile and repainted our porch swing to match.  We would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Lomonte Painting & Remodeling
Dustin and Nick arrived at 8:00 on Friday. They removed items from all walls(pictures, unused nails, mirrors, etc.). and painted all rooms. They did an excellent job! I was so pleased with their work. The guys were very personable and professional. They completed the quickly with 2 hours to spare. However, the work was top quality. Everything they pulled down(curtains, mirrors, etc.) was put back up in its original place. I will absolutely use them again.

    Show-Me Painting, Llc
Brett Keller is the owner of Show Me Painting and was the one working on our windows.  He did a good job of matching the stain on the new windows with the rest of the woodwork in the home.  Part of the job requires painting the walls where the stain migrates off the wood windows and spreads onto the wall paint a couple of inches.  We had the paint that was used on the walls for two of the windows but the third window was in a room for which we did not have the paint.  We said we wanted to paint the entire room a different color and Brett Keller agree to a price and scheduled with us a couple of days later when he would have time to finish our job.
So on Tuesday he said he would paint the room for us on Thursday.  Thursday he e-mail and said he would not be able to do it until Sunday after church.  Sunday he e-mail us saying he had sprained an ankle and needed to postpone the job until Tuesday. The room he was paining was my office in our home office.  I needed my office back so knowing that he had sprained an ankle we dismantled all the computers connected to an Ethernet router in a different room, and moved all the book cases and file cabinets so he wouldn't stress his sprained ankle.  In addition, since he wanted to paint starting at 4:30 we did all the masking of the entire room so he would get done in one evening, still at the agreed to price.  Tuesday we got another e-mail saying he had decided he had too much other work to do and was not going to paint the room at all and hoped it didn't inconvenience us too much.
Well it did!!  Inconvenience us that is.  We are selling this home and have an open house scheduled which we'll now postpone until we can get the mess straightened up.  He says he acts in a professional manner, WRONG!!
