AChesterfield Fence & Deck CompanyThey did an excellent job. The only minor complaint we would have is that the crew worked awfully late on the first day (until approx. 9pm). This didn't bother us but we were concerned about the neighbors and for the crew it was a really long day for them. I think they were under a lot of pressure from the office to complete the job as soon as possible. Other than that the quality of the fence is outstanding and the job site was left in excellent condition. There price was the highest of the 3 estimates we received but the warranty and quality of the materials made up for the difference in our opinion.- Curt F.

ATURNER ENTERPRISESSteve was very professional and gave us a great estimate. He was the only fencing company to give us an estimate in a timely manner after Ike. Mario did an excellent job replacing the old fence. They were all prompt and worked the job until completion. It took a total of four and half days, starting with the tear-down on the first day. Mario was meticulous in the design of the fence, following snap lines exactly and making sure everything lined up. He was able to work around impenging trees, land grades, sprinkler pipes, and roots. He even accomodated for the fact that our garage is not vertical when he built the attached gate. This fence is higher quality than the one it replaced, and that one lasted 30 years. They worked dilligently every day from 8am until dark. When they encountered difficulties or problems, they told us immediately. When they made a measurement mistake, they pulled it apart and rebuilt the necessary area without being asked. All this was done in a friendly and professional manner. Replacement of a fence can be rough on nearby landscaping, so some was damaged, but this is expected with such a large job.- ALAN S.

AJ & R Fencing & HardscapingAfter thoroughly checking out 3 different fencing companies in town, we chose J & R Fencing. We're very glad we did. J & R Fencing did a great job installing 275 ft of chain link fence. They arrived on time. The crew was professional and hard working. They made quick work of the job. Our lot is uneven and we were concerned about gaps where our dogs might push through. No worries...it's perfect. They even took the extra dirt from the post holes and filled up the holes our dogs had dug. The cost was right where we expected it to be. (Of the 3 bids we got, J & R was right in the middle.) We are very impressed and happy with how the fence turned out. We would recommend hiring Juan and his crew for any fencing job.- betty f.

ARandolph Development (D&D Cabinetry) were perhaps the best part of our entire new home construction. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. We have enjoyed every moment of our involvement with this company...so much so, that we have added a few more jobs to their work list! (Wish is was possible to submit photos of the work they've done for us...although I'm not sure photos would do them justice) Call them if you are looking for professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail, unique design, quality construction and materials, and timely work completion!

AI received four bids for the fence we wanted installed. I picked wood link because of their responsiveness in the bidding process and that they could build the fence quickly. They gave us a bid a day or two after we contacted them and the fence was installed within 10 days. The whole process went very well. Wood link let us know via text when they were coming and kept us updated on the process. The quality of their work was excellent. The posts, stringers and fence boards were good quality. They built a gate for us and it looks good and works very well. I highly recommend them.

AGlennstone did a great job repairing our roof and gutters. The new shingles match as good as you could expect for the age of our roof. When it comes to price they weren't the cheapest but we are firm believers in "you get what you pay for" and they even asked us while they were here if we would like them to remove the old satellite dish mounts from the roof and install new shingles without charging us a penny more. We would happily recommend them to anyone in need of roof repairs.

FI am highly disappointed with GoEcoExterior, a local construction company in the Ellisville area, and recommend that consumers think twice before hiring them. They pass themselves off as an experienced and highly rated company, but that is highly suspect. Do not be fooled by their polished website. I paid them a considerable amount of money only to be treated as a low priority once they received the final payment and became a victim of their smooth talking sales pitch and poor customer service. On August 13, 2019, I signed a contract to install nine replacement windows and siding on my primary dwelling, which is less than 1,000 square feet. As of today, there is still unfinished work, although I paid them in full in November 2019. In my opinion, their office staff is incompetent, and some of the worse I have ever witnessed. They are prompt in collecting money and providing excuses. The length of time it has taken them to perform these two tasks has been highly unreasonable and disrupted to my family. And their lack of empathy and unwillingness to remedy the problems encountered during this entire period is deplorable and inexcusable, which is now entering the fifth month. The only thing that has been timely is collecting payments. In late October, they installed the windows in one day, but the siding has taken over three months. Once they received the full amount in November, the work lost momentum and slowed down to a snail's pace one to days a week on average. There has been no activity since January 7, 2020. And there is still some minor unfinished work, i.e., completing window trim, shutters installation, replacement of a window that was ordered in error, and clean up and hauling a large amount of debris away from the backyard and driveway. I last spoke to Jennifer on January 24 asking for a completion date, got more excuses, and there's been no more communication from her as to the status. As a result, I have filed a formal complaint with the Missouri Attorney General Office because I no longer trust them and suspect that they have done this to others. Overall, I was pleased with the work done by the siding installers, but those who work in the office are incompetent. There were several weeks that they refused to schedule the workers without providing any reason. They used poor weather as an excuse. However, had they scheduled earlier when the weather was mild, they would have avoided the bad weather. My husband is a Vietnam veteran, entirely blind, and a survivor of two strokes so I have had to undertake this ordeal without his assistance. We are both in our 70s. I honestly believe they have no regard for taking advantage of seniors since receiving full payment. And now we appear to have been placed on their low priority list. Sadly, the unjust treatment my family has earned through this entire process from the management is unconscionable. I highly advise anyone reading this post not to waste their money and to hire a reputable company.

FForeman(Sean) rarely showed up. Workers demonstrated a noticeable lack of construction knowledge. They were irate when asked to redo incorrect work. Was promised work would be done in 8-12 weeks, it is now 6 months later and work still isn't complete.

FMy realtor referred me to this company my first contact was April 15th via text, no contact back. Texted again April 17th, response back was I would get a call back end of the following week. In turn I made 4 additional calls with the same promise that I will get a call back, no call. I located owner of record on the Mo Sec. of State website, Rob Jones. Called May 16th got Rob on the phone, asked if they were taking on new business, Rob’s angry. I explained it was a sincere question and went into the details of my attempts to contact them. Doesn’t matter Rob’s ******, so I ended the conversation and called another company that was more than willing to help me.

FWe hired Vince to install a wood fence at our new house. At first they were responsive and got it installed when they said they would. They were less expensive but came with a 5 year warranty, so we hired them. Except both gates fly open in the wind, one gate wont open due to the slope, but they left it that way, and sprayed stain all over our house. Many exposed nails where they missed the boards. Sad part is that’s not the worst part…at least 14 posts are completely loose and 2 sides of it are leaning bad. They installed the fence in April 2018, I called and sent him video of how bad it was in May 2018, its now Jan 2019! He has no showed us at least 15 times and is now claiming it’s a water issue??? Making a huge deal that he’s agreed to fix it for FREE, but never has. We have 2 posts remotely close to a drain and they aren’t the worst ones. A reputable fence company came out and confirmed they did a poor job. So now I’m fighting just to get this fence fixed. Vince, do what you say you’re going to do and honor your commitments. DO NOT hire him under any circumstance. The contract is fraudulent claiming a “warranty” that they won’t honor. We have been EXTREMELY patient and given him the benefit of the doubt over and over and over. I can’t believe people treat customers this way. Very Dissapointed.
