"My overall experience with him has been excellent. My primary care physician recommended me to him. He’s very nice. He’s just a great physician, as" well as his staff and everybody there. He’s on top of everything. I just like the way everything is run. He’s an excellent provider and an excellent physician. I will definitely use him again in the future.

"I’ve been using them for 15 years. It went very well. He is the only doctor I know there. He seems very competent. I
’t know" anything about eyes. I can’t judge his work but he is getting a cataract, which I’m going to have operated on sometime in the future. I will have a cataract lens replacement. He is also a surgeon. I was very happy with my visit. The staffs were all friendly. I knew one of the staff members and she took good care of me. She is somebody I knew from the past. I was there for an hour and a half. I didn’t have to wait too long. They gave several different exams. I had a pre-exam given by the nurse. Dr
gave me a thorough exam. They also sell eyeglasses. Their eyeglasses tend to be expensive. They are on the pricey side. I didn’t buy glasses this time. My wife did sometime in the past. They probably could have done better with the glasses. The service was excellent. They seem to be fine. They are very professional. It took awhile to make an appointment. It took several weeks to get in there. It didn’t surprise me that it was that long. The office is very modern and clean. I didn’t have to wait long. I had to wait about 10 minutes for my appointment. They took my co-pay and my insurance. It’s everything that I expected. They were very good. I had a good experience overall.

A growing number of people are buying prescription glasses online. Some advice — and cautions —if you plan to browse frames and lenses sans the store.

Absolutely you have rights to your own medical records. You may have to put it in writing and go through the offices records department. Call and ask to speak with the records department and ask their protocol.

Experience was generally okay. Did not do correct diagnosis the first time but happily re-scheduled and re tested. Overall a good experience.
Would recommend.

He is extremely professional and has a very nice office. Scheduling is good and they always send card reminders. I had some issues after the operation and he had me come in several times after the operation and it was very easy to be seen.

Had PRK (a version of refractive eye surgery, like

Would urge anyone thinking about corrective eye surgery to do some (easy) web research into average success-rate statistics and then compare those to Dr Kornmehl's results. His are superior, and for very good reason. Would (and have) recommended him to others.

This was a comprehensive eye exam, to update my prescription.
I hold a Commercial Pilot License, so I have always taken my eye exams very seriously.
Dr

was thorough, and corrected an error in a preceding providers assessment of my astigmatism, which Dr

assessed as practically non-existent. This saved me from what would have been an unnecessary--and uncomfortable--adjustment to my prescription.
I was very impressed with Dr

I shall return for all my future eye exams.

Glasses were incorrectly made. My eyes watered and were blurry and letters
Pilot Knob Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
on the pages. I got headaches and because I originally had the flu and then a cold in the week after I had them, I assumed that it was the flu causing my problems not the glasses. But the problem then caused jaw and neck pain as 1 lens was incorrect and I think my eyes were compensating on the left side and straining. I was unable to go on a computer for more than 5 minutes. It affected my job and life. One day I realized it was the right lens in the new glasses that I couldn't see from correctly and wore my old glasses and things got better. I called
Pilot Knob Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
Eyewear and they immediately blamed my eye doctor and refused to honor the "unconditional 2 year warranty" except for to remake the glasses with the exact same script. I told them that would serve no purpose andasked for my money back. If they were blaming the script and not them selves or their lab making the glasses, a new pair served no purpose.. Passimonti had them remade anyway as a "scratched lens" he told me essentially invalidating future claims on the glasses plus it was a lie. But they claimed my doctors script was wrong so I HAD to get a new eye exam before they would do anything. I took the glasses in for them to read the script off it and they had transposed the reading from (-) to (+) . I also went back to my doctor to have them re-issue the script in case it had been copied wrong. It was not. I could not afford a new eye exam as

Eyewear.This man,
Pilot Knob Ophthalmologists Provider Name Locked
called my home leaving rude bullying messages and bullied me screaming over the phone. Others witnessed this. He even called my eye doctor and asked questions aboout the dates I saw him and was in clear violation of HIPPA laws as I never authorized that. We had to make several 1.5 hour round trips there to try to reason with him and finally I threstened legal action with the state and HIPPA and I dropped the glasses off at another one of their locations as a return and only then did they agree to give me my money back after I mailed the sunglass clip to them which was in writing on my receipt as "free". I did so a week ago and still do not have my money back. I do believe I will receive it but the past 3 months have been h*** with this situation. Passimonti insinuated that I was senile and didn't understand things and would call several times a day. It was scary.

Most kind doctor I've ever been to. I've never been to a doctor like her before. She's all for her patient. She doesn't rush you. 'don't you worry, we're gonna handle this. We'll take care of you." I was told by two other physicians if I had cataract surgery I would go blind because my eyes are so dry, but she kept saying "No, don't worry, I'll take care of it. Everything's going to be alright. That's why I'm here." Just so unbelievably kind and caring. She is going to be doing my cataract surgery.
