    ADAMS FINE JEWELRY
He is very friendly.  The jewelry store itself does not have any jewelry that I would be interested in, but as far as going in and having jewelry fixed or having him do stuff like that, he is really good at that.  I don’t feel like his selection in jewelry is very good, but he is really good to look at jewelry and check it and do stuff like that.

Excellent!  I can't recommend Mark enough!  The staff is friendly and helpful!  They are so great!  He designs some of his own stuff so you can get an original piece that NO ONE else will have!

My husband's ring was too big and he needed his ring re-sized before going back to serve in Afghanistan. He had to leave in two days and so we needed to find someone who could quickly do this. We took it to this company and they not only took care of us in one day and when we asked how much we owed, they just looked at us and smiled. They said thank you for your service and gave my debit card back to me and said they were praying for us. They said to be safe and to keep his head down. I left there crying because of their thoughtfulness and vowed we would go to them from then on. We would never use anyone else and we would highly recommend them.

    Laura's Jewelry Designs, LLC
There is no other choices for stuff like jewelry repair in the area that I have been able to find but that is not an issue with Laura's. She was very nice I wondered on in with an opal and sapphire bracelet with one of the sapphire popped out. She looked it over and very carefully got the gem back in place and it has been perfect ever since. When I asked her how much it cost she didn't charge me anything it was very sweet of her if I had driven the 2 hours to a Kay's Jewelers (where I had first bought it) they would of definitely charged me for the simple repair plus the drive out would of been awful in general it's so nice to have her there. I got the chance to look around and though the shop is small it's very well kept and everything was on display beautifully.

Original estimate on the replacement stone was $360, but it ended up costing $639 and the labor charge was $150.00 which seems very expensive to just set one stone when the head was already there in the proper size. Very, very expensive in my estimation.

When I went to pick up the ring, the diamonds clearly were not the original ones. When I pointed out one of the diamonds did not match the others (because it was black), the jeweler admitted himself that he had replaced the diamonds. The setting that he took the original diamonds out of, which I still have, is proof that the diamonds in the new setting are different. The appraisal to the original ring did not match the appraisal for the diamonds he gave me. I confronted him about it and he said that he was unaware of the first appraisal but refused to do anything about it. We contacted the Better Business bureau for Springfield and they said there was nothing they could do since they had already dropped that jeweler due to too many complaints. Bottom line: this man is a thief. I would not recommend him to anyone.

    SULLIVAN JEWELRY STUDIO
In the last 2 years myself and family members have purchased $4,500 dollars worth of jewelry at Sullivan's. I've done business with Tim for 10 years. I took a antique ring in to have it Appraised. I finally went in to get it the middle of February. When I picked up my 14k antique ring, diamonds were chipped and the largest mine cut diamond was taken out and was replaced with a synthetic stone which was put in the ring with a glob of jewelry glue. I also wanted to sell a 14 kt gold necklace to Sullivans (which i gave to them to weigh before I saw my damaged ring) the necklace had a gram weight of 5 grams. I was told the weight was 2.5 penny weight. When I asked what penny weight was in grams I received no answer. I later had it checked and it was 3.21 penny weight.  Then I saw my ring. I was so shocked I wanted to yell and knew that was not a good idea so I left the store feeling hurt, shocked, betrayed and confused. How could business people who you trusted perform in such a manner? They lied about the weight of the necklace and stole the most beautiful mine cut diamond out is my antique ring, and destroyed other mine cut diamonds. My ring is a useless investment now other than selling it for scrap. Needless to say I'm hurt and confused. Why? I've thought long and hard about what to do so others won't have to experience what I've gone through. I imported sterling jewelry for years and told many people how he was a trusted jewelry. Well I can no longer say that. If you need a receipt for the drop off so it could be appraised I can send that.
