    Service done improperly. Power steering still had a problem. Phoned, spoke to owner, he was rude and flippant. He stated in a previous response that customers are always free to speak to their technicians. When I asked since I had a question about proper quantity of power steering fluid to add after replacing system, he refused, saying if mechanics spent their time on the phone they���d never get any work done. All I had was a simple question. Would not recommend. Over priced, poor quality service.

    I was in a bad situation with my boat motor and Blue Springs Marine helped me dig my way out.   My 2003 outboard started leaking oil in August.  Took it to Blue Springs becuase they are the only Evinrude Platinum Certified dealer in the area.
    Aaron, the mechanic and Jon, the service manager called me with the bad news that my power heqd was shot and cost to repair exceeded the value of the motor.  Initially decide to repower, but the costs of the new motors was just too high.  Found a crate motor from a dealer in Ohio that shipped to Blue Springs.  Arrived on 31 Septmebr around 1130 and was already hung by the time I got down there around 1700.
    This whole experience has been remarkable for several reasons.  First, boat dealers can be very territorial.  Blue Springs was more than happy to let me buy the motor elswhere when I found a great price, receive the shipment and do the install.  Second, most boat dealers don't pay a lot of attention to folks with boats not purchased at their dealership.  Blue Springs made me feel very welcome and wanted to help me fix my problem even though it was my first time using their dealership.  Third, it'ds almost impossible to actually talk with a mechanic to try and understand the problem.  Aaron, the Evinrude mechanic stayed in touch and kept me updated on a regular basis.
    Overall, this experience has been fantastic due to the customer service and level of communication.
    Can't say enough good things about Mary Jo, the sales manager, Jon, the service adviser and Aaron, the mechanic.  You guys have absolutley earned my business.

    Kevin came out very quickly, asked what we needed to get done and came back 2 days later (over the weekend!) with a detailed proposal and we hired him. The start of the work however was postponed a few times without us ever receiving a phone call - simply nobody showed up. When I called to complain I was assured that somebody would come the next day. From then on for 3 or 4 days workers showed up - usually between 10:30AM/11AM, did some work, took a lunch break, did some work and left (except for the first day) before 3PM. Then the temperatures dipped and Kevin called me that the project could not be completed before spring because of the weather. He would collect the surplus plants/equipment the next day and complete the work in March. More than a month later he had not collected his things and only when I called again did he come and collected his things (I also told him I was not interested in further business). The bill I received was fair and covered the work done.
