SAM'S RETAINING WALLS & HOME REPAIR
The project turned out much better than we ever expected. Sam and his crew were very professional and trustworthy. Best experience we have had with a contractor. Have already gotten compliments about the work done. Would definitely recommend for hardscape projects.

Get'er Done Tree Service & More
My neighbor had a tree removed and recommended their service. I contacted and got a bid in writing right away (very responsive). My lot has quite a few mature trees and I have lost several over the years. I know what to expect as far as yard damage from felling a tree. In this case I was particularly interested in not causing harm to the two trees alongside the dead tree. I called to accept the bid and schedule a date, but I wanted to inquire what steps they could take to avoid damaging the two trees beside it. I asked if he could rope off from the dead tree to lower the branches and he replied - it depends on how dead the tree is (i.e. how sturdy it is). Then out of nowhere he says "I don't want your job". I was shocked and asked "you don't want my job???" He replied "no I am very busy with other business and I don't want your job". My question was a legitimate concern. He obviously assumed I would be a picky customer. The conversation was unnecessarily rude. It was probably a blessing in disguise. Good riddance.

    Wildwood Tree Service
Greg from Wildwood Tree Service came out to the house and met with me about several trees that I had concerns about possibly falling and damaging my property. Greg was a straight shooter and told me that they were healthy and the only problem he saw was one big entangled dead tree in my back yard. The tree was very close to the house, and if it fell it would hit my house and deck and no doubt do extensive damage. The crew had to take down three little trees that surrounded the big one in stages to allow access to the big tree. It went as planned and nothing was damaged. Wildwood Tree Service gave me exactly what they promised. I recommend them for your tree needs.

    Castle Concrete & Hardscapes
I cannot think of enough positive comments to say about the men who did this massive job, and their company.  They are professional, prompt, communicative, incredibly hard working, trustworthy, and friendly.  They worked when the temperature was in the high 90's, they worked in the rain, they dealt with some changes to the original design, and gave accurate advice regarding the appearance of the changes, as well as whether the changes could be structurally accomplished.  I would absolutely, without question, recommend them to anyone and everyone.  I would unquestionably work with these men, and their company, again.  The finished project is beautiful and we could not possibly be happier with the work that was performed

It didn't go well. I wasn't happy with the way they left things. They got the bobtail stuck, and then their truck stuck. I had an 18 wheeler tow truck come in and wench them out. I have a paver that is sinking. Before they came out I had marked where the lid to the septic tank was, I said, do not forget where that is. It was marked with a red flag and a bird bath where it is. I asked them where it was and they said they forgot. They were sloppy and dumped a load of dirt in my pool when they were bringing it down, so we weren't able to use the pool for three weeks. They took their sweet time getting a pump to pull that out. The way the pavers were done the second time. We wanted the same pattern that they had done the first time, and all we wanted was the same quality. Now, one of the pavers is sinking on one of the corners, the patio is tilted towards the pool, and it was supposed to be level with the retaining wall. We will not use them again. I was disgusted with the quality of work that was done. The retaining wall, and the fire pit is fine. I'm tired of the way they left the yard. I'm not happy with the way they left the yard. They were here when they said they would be. They were professional.

LJ came out and gave us an estimate, had 3 other guys out for estimates. Liked LJ the best. Not only did he have the best prices, just seemed very knowledgeable. Called when he said he would and then came out and did work like he said he would. Cleaned up nicely

    Outdoor Lighting Solutions LLC
Those guys were wonderful! They actually came out and did 3 different set ups of the different lighting. It was kind of like a different scheme for us and let us choose. We talked to them and told them what we like and what we didn't like. They came out and reset those lights and did stuff 3 times. On that third time, it was like, we knew it and we loved it. Not too many companies will do that for us. These guys were awesome. It was Daniel and Jeremy. I've never had anybody that actually catered to us like these guys did. I just couldn't say enough good about them. I thought they were a little high on the price but we got what we paid for. When I told them what I wanted, they were here the next day and set up.

    Outdoor Wall & Patio
Doug Stallman is the owner of Outdoor Wall & Patio. My wife and I are very pleased with his work. He built a 20 foot diameter round patio on a sloping hill behind our home with higher end Belgard Mega Lafitt pavers. It has a 45 foot long and 4 foot wide walkway from our back deck sloping down to the patio. This walkway curves gracefully to the left till it flares out to meet the round patio built on a leveled off portion of the hill. Another walkway leaves the other side with a similar flare narrowing down to 4 feet wide, curving gracefully to the right a total of 19 feet in length, again flaring out to meet the gravel driveway to our barn
at the bottom of the hill. There?s a 5 ½ foot diameter round stone fire pit, with steel heat shield around the inside circumference, that is offset from the patio center to allow a straight walking path along the walkways and through the patio. He found beautiful large stones on or property that he used to line a good portion of the patio and upper walkway. Smooth river gravel fills the space between the large stones and the edge of the pavers. He created some berms along the upper walkway to drain rain water around the patio, and create planting space for landscaping flowers and plants that are my wife?s area of expertise. He used six yards of topsoil on the downhill side of the patio and mulched the berms. Finally, he applied sealer to the pavers to protect them from the elements. I have to say that standing on our back deck and looking down on the finished patio with all the plants and flowers my wife added is a thing of beauty. The curves are graceful and calming.

    Matt's Lawncare
He does a good job.  He will trim shrubs but he does not do that for us. He was doing the lawn before we moved in so he was familiar with the lawn. We told him not to mow the grass when it was wet and he did not. When the grass was dry we called him and he came out.  I would recommend him.

The wall and patio are stunning!!!!!
Josh and Tim  were professional and friendly.   The old tie wall was deeper than anticipated and  took longer to remove than they had  planned. Both men  kept digging in sweltering heat.(It was the hottest week of 2013) They were very careful to not distrub our  fencing and hauled all the old ties away.  The new wall is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!  Josh worked with us to help choose the perfect stone  for the wall to compliment the house.  After completion of the wall we knew a patio was needed. Josh brought samples of pavers and we choose the layout design. The patio was installed quickly with very little wasted material. It is stunning as well!   We would definately recommend Greenscene for any landscape projects. We look forward to their return next summer for another wall and a firepit.
