    Waterproof-Solutions
A crew arrived on the scheduled date and time.  Heavy equipment was used to remove dirt and expose the foundation for evaluation.  Exploratory excavation revealed that the foundation was resting directly on bedrock, thus rendering pier installation moot.  They thoroughl cleaded the exposed foundation face and waterproofed it with a high-tech compound and fabric, repaced broken foundation drian tile, covered the tile with fabric and stone, and backfilled the hole.  It was suggested that a tremor may have introduced the fascia damage, but that was not something that they would be able to confirm.

They did not find what they expected to find upon excavation.  They adjusted their scope of work to do what was available to them to perform.  They adjusted their price accordingly and it was very fair.

The overall experience was thoroughly professional and the work was competently performed.  Company management was responsive to any and all queries before, during, and after the work was performed.  On-site personnel very courteous in addition to their fine work.  I highly recommend this company.

They were really responsive in viewing our basement. Two workers showed up and reported the work was a one day job and easy fix. As they left they said they would try to get us an estimate that night but if not it would only be a couple days (weekend in between). A week later we called, and they responded in an acceptable manner of time with an apology that they has simply overlooked it.  They said we would have an estimate within 2-3 days.  Three days later we called again, they didn't reply.
We were set to go with them, their workmen were nice and seemed to know what they were talking about.  I had asked how long before they could do the work and they said they were only 2 weeks out.
We were disappointed.  And now we have gone with someone else.

Everything went great!  The work was done as scheduled.  The price was ALOT less than the other bids we received.  There have been several rains since and not an ounce of water!  I would most definately use them again and recommend them!

    Helitech Waterproofing and Foundation Repair
A week or so later he called us back to schedule a time to come out and present his quote. When we could not find a convienent time to meet. my husband asked him to send the quote to us via email and we would have a conference call to discuss. We never heard from him again. Being suspicious of what he had said were the problems, we hired an engineer to review our situation. The engineer said that none of what Keven was talking about was needed, we were floored. Very disappointed in not being able to trust the word of a major player in the field of foundation repair. He saw dollar signs instead of working to help us.

    History:
Monday: July 29?Supposed to start work on the basement.
After 2 calls one person showed up at 11:10. Worked till 3. The salesman said,
at 9:15, he?d ?try? to call back with information about why they were not on
site. He never called back. Owner was supposed to be out to meet with a clean-up
group we had independently contracted to meet them for possible other jobs. He did not come out. The worker that day told me that they wouldn't be doing the 39 feet of the walkout basement . That was 1/3 of the 130 feet I'd contracted for.
Tuesday: No call that they wouldn?t show up. The owner did
call my neighbor- who?d had great service July 4th week- that
because of rain they wouldn?t show up.
Wednesday: Three workmen showed up at 8:30. Worked till 3.
Two laborers and one on the jackhammer. In the meantime they ran the truck over
my fire hydrant and caused a huge leak in the yard requiring the water company
to come, dig a 6 x 8 ft hole and replace 6+ feet of pipe and fire hydrant.
Called owner/operator. He said he would not come out that night but would be
there WITH the crew the next morning. I asked about the 39 feet I was told they wouldn't be doing and continued to ask about the discrepancy ion the bid amount form my neighbor's job. The owner said they'd do the 39 feet.
Thursday. Owner never showed with crew. Called me at 11:10
to say he could come out, but wasn?t there. Neither was I at the time. Crew
left at 3  PM again. Now the basement is only about half jack-hammered.
Friday: Crew here at 8:30, but owner is not. He called at
about 10:45 to ask a question from my home site. I said I?d be home about 3 so
I could talk. He was gone. He did come back at 3:30 and we talked about a
number of items, including the bid discrepancy (more later) and the schedule.
We discussed communications failures. He INSISTED his crew would be out on
Saturday to work more (4/5 jack-hammered done now)
Saturday. Owner called at 9 to say they started late so they would not be out that day but would show up on
    Monday.
Monday- Two young men showed up at 9. They worked until about 1 when the older worker arrived. Worked that day
until about 4. The bathroom area wasn?t done, and they asked if I wanted that 15 or so feet also in the drain system. I said yes and they had to come back the next day.
Tuesday- The three showed up to  finish the job. When it was done (and cleaned up) they left, returned and asked
for payment. I said not until the battery for the contracted battery back-up
was delivered. They left. My neighbor called and said the owners mother would
dive over from Illinois with the battery. We waited for 1 ½ hours until she
showed. The battery was just left in the basement and not hooked up. (I had an
engineer friend hook it up later.) So I gave them the check to cover the lower bid
amount my neighbor had. I still did not get an explanation of the $1250
difference.  That check was cashed immediately.
    The following week the owner
called and demanded the additional money. When again I asked for the difference
he said it was to did the hole and ?liability?. I didn?t understand what he
meant. There is still a hole in my yard from the water company repair. The
system is downstairs, but since we?ve had no rain I am not sure if it works. I
    will not call them(even if their phone numbers are working) if it doesn?t work;
    I will contact another company.

    Bid issues.
    1.  I was given a bid for 130 ft of linear
drainage tile plus sump pump. My neighbor also had same floor plan, 130 feet.
She had a sump pump but they replaced hers for the same model I was given. Her
bid was $1250  less- and the ONLY difference now is the pit for her new, same model, same sump pump. I repeatedly asked why the difference but never really got an answer other than to "dig a hole and the liability".
    2.Communications is a major
inconvenience and failure for this company. Do NOT rely on what they tell you
they will do. I wasted over 6 hours waiting for people to be here/or call even
who did NOT. The company phone numbers do not work- service has been stopped. That
is my time lost and is not excusable.

    Dunn Home Improvements LLC

    1)      The patio took a couple of days to complete and is a beautiful new addition to my yard. 2)      The basement took several weeks to complete.  Lots of plastic was hung to control the dust.    Josh asked for my input and opinions as section by section was completed.  When the basement was complete it looked fantastic!  It looked so good that it made my main level seem drab. 3)      The bathrooms on the main level took about a couple of weeks to complete.  Lots of beautiful tile work.  Both of my bathrooms are beautiful. 4) The main level took about a month to complete.  He would work on one room at a time so he didn?t disrupt the whole house.  Now my entire home is brand new and looks fantastic.
Josh Dunn was always punctual.  He was professionally dressed and had all of the tools needed for the jobs that he performed.  His work is meticulous and he is very exacting in all that he did.
I've just spoken with Josh and he will be installing new electrical outlets inside of my garage and the outside soon.
