    While we had great service on a local move with them four years ago, we were very disappointed when we had them load our trailer for a long-distance move. They were on time for the appointment and they were very polite while doing the work. However, they stacked heavy items on an antique desk, which broke in transit. Because they did not secure any of the intermediate layers of boxes and furniture, there was nothing to contain the movement of the items that were stacked on top of the desk. The resulting shifted contents damaged half our bookcases, rendering them unusable. When I called them about the damages after the trailer was unloaded, they hid behind an wide interpretation of their "labor-only" waiver to deny any responsibility for damages that were caused by the loading practices that they used. We didn't use the service referred to us by our shipping company (which would have been insured) because of our past good experience with ABC Quality Movers, and in hindsight that was a mistake.

    The movers worked very hard in the freezing cold. We had a lot of furniture and boxes and the move took longer than anticipated. Our move took 11 hours (I'm sure the freezing cold slowed them down. My husband was there along side them and he agreed that his energy was zapped with the freezing temps). Not everything fit in the 20 foot truck, but everything essential we needed/wanted ended up in the truck. We decided that since we still own the old house that we would go back on our own and get the remaining items when time permits. We would hire this company again, as they are great to work with and are reasonable in price. In addition, the crew is personable and takes great care of your possessions.

    Mr. Huneke showed up as scheduled. Assessed and measured the trouble areas. He explained what is happening and the probable cause. He gave us some suggestions on what we could do to stop further issues. We opted for analysis without a formal written report. The report would have been another cost. We were just looking for an unbiased opinion before we started getting estimates from foundation companies.

    It went very well. They were very thorough with the inspection, must more then I thought they would be. After the inspection was over, they took time to explain, in detail, everything to us that was wrong and things that looked very good. He even took the time to text a picture of a spider that was found in the house to get the species of it.

    My husband and I were lucky enough to get to work with Mark and Kim on finding and purchasing our first home together. They are both so wonderful and knowledgeable and answered every little question we had during the process, and we had A LOT of questions since this was our first home purchase. I wanted to move to St. Louis County for a shorter commute to work but was unfamiliar with the area. Mark was very knowledgeable about the area and helped us find the exact home we were looking for. Mark has incredible attention to detail and would point things out in houses we would have missed and he was also amazing during the contract negotiations. Even after closing on the house, they followed up with helpful tools and were happy to answer questions we had. We felt very lucky to have a team so kind and professional helping us. Mark was also incredibly flexible. I would throw 5-6 houses together to go see and he would have showings set up within a day or two. My husband and I both agree that we could not have gotten a better pair to work with. We have been recommending them to everyone we know. If you���re in the market for a house, you want this team in your corner!
