FMy dog has NEVER had such a terrible hair cut. EVER. This was the first and last time we will ever be taking our baby to this place. The cut was laughable and literally made family and friends laugh. My only thoughts for her was...it will grow. The biggest problem was that not only did she come out shaved she came out terrified. For a week she was bizarrely skittish, afraid and shook. She has had many other cuts and this has never happened before. Be careful leaving your dog here.

DI needed to travel out-of-town on short notice. My usual pet boarding facility (Honey Creek Pet Boarding) did not have room for my two dogs while I was away. I made reservations at this alternative facility, sight unseen, based upon the suggestion of a technician at my vet's office. When I dropped my dogs off at the pet boarding facility, I was taken aback by how crude the facilities were - just 2x4s and wire. However, at that point, I needed to get to the airport.
The owner did not contact me while my dogs were in her care. One of my middle-aged dogs had just been adopted from a rescue organization a few weeks before this stay. When I returned, Terri, the owner of the boarding facility, was very distraught. According to her, my new dog had disrupted the entire facility by "trying to kill all of the other dogs" during the entire time period. Nothing she did changed his behavior and she was stressed over a chaotic situation that she could not control. What was I to say except "I'm sorry"?
In the month since that incident, I have taken my disruptive dog for a behavior consultation and he has spent a week at my usual pet boarding facility without major problems. How can this be? From what I can tell, the lack of side walls on the kennels at Terri's Dog Barn were likely a contributing factor to the disruption; as was placing my dog in a middle (rather than an end) kennel. Another factor was that Terri did not communicate with me when it was clear that she could not handle the situation, so that I could find alternate arrangements for my dog. Obviously he (the dog) must also have been miserable.

ADrs Ron and Carol Palmer are the best vets I've ever used. They are very caring, nice to deal with and very reasonable. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else. I adopted one of my dogs from them, and I think they love them as much as we do.

FFANTASTIC FIDO'SThe owner lied to me! She didn’t tell me that my normal groomer was no longer there! That she had fired her! She lost the best groomer she will ever have!!! She said, that this young girl that she gave me had worked with my groomer! When I went to pick up my fur baby, she made me pay before I could even see my little girl! I gave her a tip to give to the groomer and I saw her whispering to the young groomer. I found out later that the owner had lied to me again!!The young girl had never worked with my groomer!! The haircut that my fur baby got looked bad! You could tell that she had never clipped a poodle!! I will never go back!! I found out my groomer opened up her own business!! And she is doing great!! AAll Critter Care LLCWe have sent our dogs to other places in/around st. louis and nothing compares to Kristen and her staff. The price is very reasonable and they transport the dogs for a minimal fee. It's so convenient. I just schedule the pickup and drop off and my dogs come home exhausted & clean from having the best time with the canine friends. When my dogs see the transport van pull up they can hard wait to jump in. We have visited the facility several times over the past couple years. It is exceptional. It's clean & the layout where the dogs stay inside is the best boarding concept around. Each dog is evaluated and placed in packs of like minded, age or energy level. There is plenty of outdoor space and fresh water. The staff cleans up as the dogs go I've never seen a poop bomb laying around. I can say it warms my heart to see when my dogs walk in the door every staff member knows them personally. They are loved and well cared for if they go for a day or a week, I know my dogs are taken care of. It's their second home!- Susan B.

APet Spa at Comfort RidgeShe is amazing. For many years she groomed all of my pets, she did a beautiful work, not everybody can do to a standard poodle pet. She does all sizes and she is very good. She is very knowledgeable with horses and everything else. She’s been around for a while; she knows the business and all the dogs love her and respond to her. She lives out of the country and she has plenty of room too. She does have a large area, it’s very loud, as in loud barking, and one of my dogs could not handle it, but my other dogs could. Her grooming place is too loud for one my dogs so I can’t use her. I recommend them to anyone for any grooming services and they would not be disappointed. She is very good and very caring. If the noise is minimized and they have more than one person to handle it, I trust their place will not hurt my dog in anyway. . If my dog got out of his issues, I would be back using her again. We have 2 poodles; we use to pay $100 every 6 to 8 weeks. She was excellent. Standard poodles get infections very easily and we never had any problem when she took care of them. The experience went very well. Her fees were very standard across the board with everyone else, but I think she did an excellent job every time she got the dogs. One of my dogs did have a tendency to get ear infections and eye infections; while she was under her care we did not have any additional costs for any of those infections. She did spot a small growth that I hadn’t spotted; she told me that I needed to get him to the veterinarian right away. I called straight from my car and went to the veterinarian and she was dead on about her having a cyst that needed to be taken care off. She knew her job; she knew dogs well. I was pleased with her grooming and her work; my dogs never got bruised or cut.- Jan B.

AWolfe Creek Dog Grooming & BoardingWe needed to go to Springfield for the day and didn't want to leave our lab alone in the house that long. We left him in doggie day care at Wolfe Creek and he had a great time. They have doggie doors in all the Kennels for Him to go out if he wants and a large play pen area for exercise too .They always spoil him and he is so happy to go . When We pull up to the Front of the building his tail starts to explode into excitement.. It make us happy to see him so happy to stay there. He knows which Kennel is his and goes right in . Karen and Robert are very good to the Dogs they are intrusted in . It makes this Dog Parent Comfortable with leaving a family member in such great hands.
