ASOUTHEAST HOME IMPROVEMENTI had them insulate my house when I built it in 2005. The owner took the time to educate me on the different types of insulation and how they work. He also explained the mistakes commonly made by inexperienced contractors and handymen that cause a home to be inefficient. My wife and I were able to make a good decision that has paid dividends every month since we moved in. Southeast Insulation showed up when they said they would, did a professional job and cleaned up the mess before they left. They did cost more than than the other bid we got, but I believe we got a much better job and the savings on my utilities have more than paid for the job anyway. I called them back this year to put seamless guttering on the house. This time the company sent a sales guy out who also took the time to talk to me about what I needed and then explain the proper way to install gutters and showed me examples of the mistakes and corners other gutter companies cut to get a cheaper price. Again, the crew showed up and did a professional job. The gutters look great and don't hold water or leak.- Ken H.

ABrandt's Fuel SaversThe service was really good. Three guys came out and it took them about three to four hours to complete the job. They cleaned up very good. AHome Improvement 4 LessHome Improvement 4 Less designed a solution to give us a tub and shower in this little bathroom without taking out the window. And then introduced us to a wonderful plumbing concept called PEX. to give us better water quality and pressure. He scheduled the demolition in such a way that we were able to still take bathes and have a functional toilet right up to the change out of fixtures. Then he installed all the new water lines where they were ready to hook up then switched over the water source and pressurized the system and without any delays or leaks we were back on line. With improved water pressure and taste. Yeah.... Finished up with trim at ceiling and floor. And was on to the kitchen ceiling. The new design for the ceiling face lift was perfect. He designed a white beamed ceiling and beadboard to cover ceiling tile and tied it into a 2 ft.x 2 ft. square pedestal to tie in a new white ceiling light in center of room and new pendant light over the sink . It looks like a country kitchen now. This time we saved $900 on bathroom remodel $450 on the new PEX system in labor and materials. And he only charged us $175 for new kitchen ceiling. I would have gladly that just for the design. What a creative concept to make a ugly old ceiling disappear. So once again i saved about another $1,450.00 and his design ideas were free. But if you ask me they were priceless......- carmen h.

ATHURMOND BROTHERS CONSTR COWe did not know we had hardwood floors under our carpet and Hired Thurmond construction to put in new hardwood floors. They showed us we had hardwood under the carpet and they just needed to be sanded and stained. We had the living room, hallway and all 3 bedrooms sanded and stained., I went to stay at my moms while they were doing this and they did a wonderful job. ABallard's Custom Insulation LLCI contacted the company using the phone number listed on the truck that was working at a house just up the street. I left a message requesting an estimate. Within minutes I received a call back. Within a couple hours they were at my house performing the task. The workers were pleasant / professional and completed the task well. ADunn Home Improvements LLC1) The patio took a couple of days to complete and is a beautiful new addition to my yard. 2) The basement took several weeks to complete. Lots of plastic was hung to control the dust. Josh asked for my input and opinions as section by section was completed. When the basement was complete it looked fantastic! It looked so good that it made my main level seem drab. 3) The bathrooms on the main level took about a couple of weeks to complete. Lots of beautiful tile work. Both of my bathrooms are beautiful. 4) The main level took about a month to complete. He would work on one room at a time so he didn?t disrupt the whole house. Now my entire home is brand new and looks fantastic. Josh Dunn was always punctual. He was professionally dressed and had all of the tools needed for the jobs that he performed. His work is meticulous and he is very exacting in all that he did. I've just spoken with Josh and he will be installing new electrical outlets inside of my garage and the outside soon.- Jo C.

ARandolph Development (D&D Cabinetry) were perhaps the best part of our entire new home construction. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. We have enjoyed every moment of our involvement with this company...so much so, that we have added a few more jobs to their work list! (Wish is was possible to submit photos of the work they've done for us...although I'm not sure photos would do them justice) Call them if you are looking for professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail, unique design, quality construction and materials, and timely work completion!

AI was impressed with this company. I had suspect roof damage following a storm and worked with Mike who performed a roof inspection. He was very professional, customer friendly and knowledgeable. AThank you West Heating and Cooling! We had a big problem on our hands - our 3 systems (heating, cooling and hot water) went out at the same time! The HVAC and water heating systems were all one unit and it was a true miracle that West Heating and Cooling could help us so quickly. We called about 5-8 other companies - but Brian (owner) came to the rescue. Brian has so many years of experience that he knew very quickly what needed to be done. He went above and beyond to get us our water and heat as quickly as possible! I will say that he is the best professional in-home expert we have ever had. Every person that we dealt with at this company was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you so much to this great team of people! I highly recommend them!

FI am highly disappointed with GoEcoExterior, a local construction company in the Ellisville area, and recommend that consumers think twice before hiring them. They pass themselves off as an experienced and highly rated company, but that is highly suspect. Do not be fooled by their polished website. I paid them a considerable amount of money only to be treated as a low priority once they received the final payment and became a victim of their smooth talking sales pitch and poor customer service. On August 13, 2019, I signed a contract to install nine replacement windows and siding on my primary dwelling, which is less than 1,000 square feet. As of today, there is still unfinished work, although I paid them in full in November 2019. In my opinion, their office staff is incompetent, and some of the worse I have ever witnessed. They are prompt in collecting money and providing excuses. The length of time it has taken them to perform these two tasks has been highly unreasonable and disrupted to my family. And their lack of empathy and unwillingness to remedy the problems encountered during this entire period is deplorable and inexcusable, which is now entering the fifth month. The only thing that has been timely is collecting payments. In late October, they installed the windows in one day, but the siding has taken over three months. Once they received the full amount in November, the work lost momentum and slowed down to a snail's pace one to days a week on average. There has been no activity since January 7, 2020. And there is still some minor unfinished work, i.e., completing window trim, shutters installation, replacement of a window that was ordered in error, and clean up and hauling a large amount of debris away from the backyard and driveway. I last spoke to Jennifer on January 24 asking for a completion date, got more excuses, and there's been no more communication from her as to the status. As a result, I have filed a formal complaint with the Missouri Attorney General Office because I no longer trust them and suspect that they have done this to others. Overall, I was pleased with the work done by the siding installers, but those who work in the office are incompetent. There were several weeks that they refused to schedule the workers without providing any reason. They used poor weather as an excuse. However, had they scheduled earlier when the weather was mild, they would have avoided the bad weather. My husband is a Vietnam veteran, entirely blind, and a survivor of two strokes so I have had to undertake this ordeal without his assistance. We are both in our 70s. I honestly believe they have no regard for taking advantage of seniors since receiving full payment. And now we appear to have been placed on their low priority list. Sadly, the unjust treatment my family has earned through this entire process from the management is unconscionable. I highly advise anyone reading this post not to waste their money and to hire a reputable company.
