  First, let me say I am an engineer in capital projects so I work with contractors in the industrial world day in, day out. I am demanding, I know it and that is not going to change. That said, we worked through this system, worked around my travel schedule, got it in, fixed issues that were underground that we did not know about (liked unmarked drain tile and a neighbors sprinkler head that was a little too close to the property line. Definitely very satisfied.

  C&S tree service

  It was a very fair price. They really knew what they were doing. They took down two massive trees, one in our front yard and ine in the back yard. They came back and ground down the stumps. Everything went really well. When they were taking down the Oak tree something fell and damaged the roof, but they repaired it. They are very responsible, they did not try to hide it, they were very upfront about telling us about the mistake and taking care of it.

  K&S Lawn Maintenance

  I paid them; they performed no services. I've never been given the run-around like this. I bought a deal on Angie's List at the beginning of April and selected some available times. Didn't hear back. Emailed them. Didn't hear back. Called them. Finally heard back. They said they'd drop by in two or three weeks to see what needed doing. I told them to set up a time as I'm at work during normal working hours and chances are they'd find no one home if they just dropped by. Heard nothing for a few weeks. Eventually heard from them to say that no one was home. I repeated that they needed to set up an appointment. They said they'd drop by in two or three weeks. I was out of town for a few days a week or two later later and the person looking after my house said that the "lawn guys" stopped by. I assume it was K & S but they had not called ahead to arrange anything so for all I know it could have been another landscaping service trying to drum up new customers. Eventually they came to my house by approintment when I was there more than three months after my purchase at which they told me they were really booked up and it would be at least another three or four weeks. When I expressed surprise that at the time of my April purchase they were booked up through July, they said perhaps two weeks. It has been over four months since I gave them my money and I still have had zero services performed for it. They claim that they have tried to get hold of me repeatedly but I have returned every call (usually within a couple of hours) for which a message was left and responded to every email so that seems at best disingenuous and inaccurate. I am appalled and furious that they would keep my money for over four months and barely make any effort to actually provide me any service at all. I have never experienced such an astounding lack of professionalism and utter disregard for the contract sealed by their accepting my money. I would like to broadcast from the rooftops that everyone should avoid this company at all costs - but that would mean expending way more effort on them than they have bothered to expend on me.

  They come every week. I think he charges me $45 a week. I have a pretty big yard and there are several?fences he has to do both sides of to trim so it is quite?a job. He is professional and leaves the area very clean. That is important to me. He comes with a crew so there are usually three of them working and it takes, maybe, 20 minutes.

  CHRIS AMSCHLER TREE SERVICE

  I had three 50 foot oak trees trimmed and cleaned up. One of the trees hangs over my house. The guys did a very good job in trimming the oak trees. They also removed debris off of the roof of my house and my neighbors. I also had them trim a 20 foot amur maple tree and trimmed back a hedge of burning bushes with an electric trimmer. The team was suppose to trim back hornbeam branches that were sticking out of my DeGroot Spire Arborvitae hedge. This is where the miscommunication occurred. Instead the guys trimmed back one of the hornbeams from the house which I don't even see from my backyard. Instead I was very specific with Chris the owner on trimming back the branches sticking through my Arborvitae hedge. Chris did meet with me again. He said this would be best done in the fall. Technically, all tree trimming should be done in the fall due to browning. Surprisingly, they didn't have any problem trimming one of the hornbeam trees so it wasn't touching the house. But I told him at the time of sale, I was willing to take this risk. In the end, he did not come through with my requests and did not document correctly on what I was wanting. He did put hornbeams down but not enough detail. I am very disappointed with the sales tactics used to sell this job. He wanted me to get a bid from anothe provider in the fall for the hornbeams and then he would price considerably lower from his competitor. Due to his sales tactics, I will not be using his service again. He will tell you he is "A+" on Angies List. And he wasn't after I checked. But I went with him anyway because I had to get my trees trimmed.

  Precision Irrigation Inc

  We were promised a Rainbird system by the sales team but when they showed up to install, they installed a Toro system. It took a couple of failed attempts to get them in to install so once they were here with the Toro system and reading the literature on the spot, we relented. Each year we have had problems with Service not submitting the required backflow inspection certificate to the city which has caused us several problems. A couple of years into the service we have a leak in one of our zones. So far the technician failed to show up for one appointment and then the second appointment got moved from an AM appointment to a PM appointment without my knowledge. Even after complaining no one ever showed up. Very frustrated with the service and professionalism of this company over the years.

  Lawn Doctor St. Louis - St. Charles

  We cancelled the service last year but Lawn Doctor returned this year and treated the lawn while we were not home. After repeated calls to the company they have now sent a $58 bill to a collection agency. I recommend NOT doing business with Lawn Doctor.

  Complete Tree Service of St Louis LLC

  They were very good. I think they were low price. They were real good about clean up and safety. They were very responsive. Don't have any complaints at all. They were very professional. I was worried about safety from the stand point. Something like that is very dangerous. They were conscientious. They wore all their safety gear appropriately. They cleaned up very nice.

  TruGreen Lawn Care -

  Lawn service application (10/25/16) by Mr. William Mosher left most areas untouched with product. Contacted TRUGREEN Customer Service regarding the problem of the multiple, missed areas. They responded in a timely and professional manner. Applied another application to the missed areas. That particular technician did a great job.
