    Colle, Dr. Kyle O.
My son had a stroke last May and we took him to Southeast Missouri Hospital.  We had the most wonderful neuro brain surgeon.  He is one the most personal surgeons I have ever met.  He took the time to explain everything to us.  He is always so positive and informative.  He is just a fantastic man.  Something that I really liked about him is that every time he saw my son when he came into the room, he touched him.  He is fantastic.  My son lost his job and probably it's been three years now.  He just had a new job and this stroke happened.  I brought him home and I knew something was wrong but I didn't know what was wrong with him.  I called the ambulance and they took him over to Southeast Missouri.  He was able to get Medicaid.  He had been on Medicaid and he had only been to this job for like one day but he was able to go back on Medicaid.  Dr. Colle does not take Medicaid but he happened to be on call that night.  My son told Dr. Colle how much he appreciated him and broke down.  Dr. Colle came over, gave my son a hug and he said, I'm not in this for money.  He has charged us ten percent of his normal fee.  My son had a part of his skull removed because he had brain swelling and you can imagine how expensive that was.  We are so grateful to this man.  He saved the piece of his skull and put it in his abdomen because he wanted to reuse it when the swelling went down.  The brain swelling never went down enough.  He came in and told us he had brain which is a happy kind of living out than its normal consignment.  He put in a mesh first to hold the brain and to give it some fidelity.  We went back in the third time and put the plastic in there.  He had to remove is skull from his abdomen.  It was just incredible, what this man did for my son.  I just can't say enough about this gentleman.

    Fonn, Dr. Sanjay J.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Fonn. He took a chance on revising a failed spinal surgery "mess" that another doctor had performed on me 3 1/2 years earlier. I was turned down by numerous other surgeons for fear that I would not live or that I would be paralyzed from the attempted corrective surgeries. His ability as a surgeon is commendable, as well as his bedside manner. He was very easy to communicate with and I never felt like I was asking him a dumb question, because I went to him with a list of questions! He seems to have genuine concern for health and pain issues, and he had a calming effect on me, as his patient. Spinal surgery is a very scary thing, particularly in my case, where I had been turned away by numerous surgeons, and the surgeon's ability to soothe some to these fears is so valuable. I will forever be grateful that he took a chance on me and ultimately is helping me regain some quality of life. I believe that I will be able to get "off" of disability in the next year or so, and actually go back to work again. Only because of his help. I LOVE HIM.

    Chaudhari, Dr. A. Basit
I want to recommend him.  He was the first person to diagnose my headaches and give me medications that work.  He is very personable and good at his job.  The doctor before told me to just live with it, and that's not acceptable.  I have been with him 20+- years.  The staff works well together and the nurse has been there a long time.  They've always been kind and helpful to me.  You can always depend on him.  He gets high ratings in everything and I will continue to go there.

They seem competent. I've been seeing these folks since I moved to Missouri. They've never let me down and seem genuinely concerned.

    Gibbs, Dr. Scott R.
He has a very good bedside manner.  He is very conscientious about his patients’.  He is renowned for his quality of his work and justifiably so.  We would absolutely visit him again in the future if needed.

The clinic has been converting to typed paperwork, and the doc is having trouble getting used to it. So she was maybe an hour behind schedule at mid-morning. The appointment itself didn't take too long as I hadn't much change in my mentality and all I really needed was to make sure my doses were as they should be. I tried the best I could to explain how my thinking and memory had been more foggy than usual, and she didn't seem to know what I was saying, but she did sorta seem to get it, so she upped the dose a slight bit. She asked me if that was what I wanted to do, and I tried telling her that it doesn't matter to me and that I would weigh the pros and cons with the wealth of medical information that she had - and that I did not - and she seemed to have this tone like and quot;Well, it's kinda obvious what the decision should beand quot;...maybe she didn't mean it like that, idk, but she could have just said and quot;I'll go ahead and up the doseand quot; instead of the huge load of words she was putting forth. The receptionists seemed really cranky. Maybe that's what dealing with crazy people day in/out does to a person...maybe...

Doctor spent about 20 minutes with me and within the first 5 minutes had asked me directly about the real situation th at was bothering me in my life, which I hadn't even brought up. Really a genius.

The medicine works but I feel like they don?t listen. It?s a stressful environment. I have a heart murmur and I feel like they completely disregard it each time I?m taken there. I will continue to see the doctors, but wish they had better communication and listening skills.

.when i refused his push of certain drugs and attempted to speak of others. he picked up his bag said you need to find another doctor and stormed out of the room. very childish if you want a doctor who is only there to push drugs and expects you to do what he says without question he is your man. if you want a doctor who will listen pass him by his staff was the only professional thing
