    They were very helpful in recommending complementary colors for the counter and contrasting cabinets; as we wanted to stay with our original tile floor and some of the cabinets. Very responsive to our question and spending time with us at the showroom and our home. Sometimes these upgrades are hard to visualize on paper, or in our own kitchen. They did a wonderful job explaining and having 3D printouts of how things would look. We will be using them again on our next project, and recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

    It went wonderful. All the guys were so sweet and professional. They worked hard to make sure everything was perfect and to my liking. The quality and workmanship is top notch. They cleaned up every night after they were done, got to work right on time each day and diligently worked all day long. I will be using this company again in the future for sure.

    The two men that came to do the work arrived on time, were very professional, courteous and neat. We were so impressed with their work that we asked for the same two men to return once we were ready to complete the project.     They removed counters three weeks before installed to ensure everything would fit perfectly.  When they installed the new counters, they damaged the walls badly enough that I had to buy and pay to have new tile installed in the kitchen.  They pulled the stove/oven out by the door and it is now off kilter permanently, but the oven does work.  The tile was real tight on one side of the oven and a wide gap on the other.  The granite was not properly sealed. I laid a strawberry on the counter and it left a red stain that didn't come out after many cleanings.  At time of installation the installer insisted I complete a review right then & there with him standing right there.  I gave good marks as I hadn't yet realized all of the problems, besides the obvious wall damage.  They did not caulk the counters or do anything but put them in and said that was all they do and that I would have to get someone else to do that...I advised that had never been made clear to me by the salesman and that I thought they would be completing all of the work.  They also required payment in full prior to the sink being installed.  The man, Mike, who installed the sink was the only good employee they had at my house.  I called and complained, they came out, moved the oven & added some sealer.  I had the tile being put in at the time.  I was very upset and found the installer to be rude.  I requested the owner and on the phone he stated he believed his installer.  I requested he come to my home, he said he would, but when I responded to his secretary for a date/time, took off work to be there when convenient for  him, he did not show up.  I deeply regret my decision to use this company and will never recommend them to anyone.  I requested a refund in the amount I spent on getting the tiling done, $1325.47. Neighbors and friends that had seen the damage and the end result said they had never seen work like that, that it was the worst job they had seen. I do have photos of their 'finished work'.

    We are very pleased with the product and installation. We dealt with Nick (Chesterfield office) and he did an excellent job from providing/explaining initial quote, working through several change options and even resolving a minor issue during installation. The cost was very competitive with other quotes we received for similar product. The Aphrodite process allowed us to personally visit a number of granite slab suppliers wherein we had lots of options and wide selection in our selection of slabs. We were able to see the layout of the individual sections onto the slab prior to cut. The turnaround time from order to installation was the shortest of the suppliers we visited. And just as important their estimate for our template and installation schedule turned out spot on. We recommend Aphrodite for granite countertop supplier.

    We hired Dan to install a kitchen backsplash in our newly built home. Dan met us at the house and was friendly and professional. He was one of the few that actually measured the space so that I could purchase the correct amount of travertine tile as I had already chosen the tile color and design I wanted over the cooktop side of the kitchen. His quote was well within our planned expenditure, he was not the highest nor the lowest. He made suggestions when necessary. The quality of the work and the fact that he also cleaned up well when done was a key factor to me. The project took about 3 full days and he followed up to come back to seal the stone after the grout dried.

    I am very pleased with the completed project. He did an excellent job of taking the tile and creating the design that I was looking for. Dan definitely takes pride in his work.  I have received many compliments on the backsplash.

    I would definitely use Dan again! I love how great the kitchen looks.

    The job was messed up from the fabricator to installation March 17th 2015.  They cut the seam in a corner of an ogee edge that was suppose to be arched.  This made it a 90 degree corner instead of arched.  The job in that corner looked horrible.  When I called to have someone come out to repair.  I got the run around from Nick in sales he sold us the job but could not help.  Bonnie the administrative assistant she just takes messages.  Ric the field guy that was too busy and rude to pickup the phone and call.  Nobody wanted to take responsibility or take any accountability for the shabby workmanship.  I finally reached Tony the owner.  He was gracious enough to speak with me on the phone.  When I explained what happened he started to ask if I made changes.  I told him no.  He asked me to allow him a few days to do his research.  I waited 2 days and then called Tony back to find out what was going to happen.  March 25, 2015 Tony wanted to see the job so I text him photos and asked me when was a good time to see it in person.  His first suggestion was to take the bad piece out and recut it which I would lose 2 inches of the overhang and they would reattach.  He offered to knock $250 off the purchase price of a $5500 job.  My wife did not want to lose the counter top space.  Tony came over to measure on March 30th, 2015 and told me that the job looked like crap and he did not want his name on it, so he would replace the piece and have it installed on April 3rd.  Obviously that communication did not get back to Ric and he told us the first available opportunity that he had to repair was April 10th.  My wife already paid them in full so we had no choice but to wait.  When I text Tony April 8th to state I look forward finally getting the counter fixed and as he stated he would send the best crew out.  Tony was surprised that it was not already done.  Then he texted me back a laundry list of why it wasn't done.  Meanwhile since March 17th he stated they have been doing 5 to 7 kitchens a day.  Obviously correcting a bad job takes a back seat for Aphrodite. 
    April 10th the repair date.  The crew arrived and started to dissemble the counter to prepare for new piece of granite.  I measured the counter top already installed and it was 31 1/2 inches wide.  When the new piece showed up it was 31 inches wide.  I asked the installer to call Tony and ask why it was not the same width.  They called and I received a text from Tony (owner of Aphrodite)
    "my guys are leaving have a nice life" and they started to pickup their stuff. My wife stated that she was ok with the width and they started to install.  I received another text from Tony "my guys will do a good job we are not shorting u." "I told them to finish" "I could be a real jerk but I know they will do a good job for u." "and I don't wanna b a jerk".  The crew finished the job and left. I was going to chalk the experience up to bad luck on both our parts.
    I received another text from Tony "so did they do a good job?" "was that commotion necessary?" 
     Being taunted for my feeling and concerns about the initial poor job was my fault from Tony I replied back. (now it is my turn) (happy life)(I don't want to be a jerk but you just kept poking me.) (Now I have no choice)
    The reply text I received from Tony is appalling  "being that it's good Friday for Orthodox Christians such as me I'm gonna handle this in a manner that I normally wouldn't and that is ignore you rather than cuss you out"  "we spent a grand to make this right." "We never argued that it wasn't cut incorrectly" We had an agreement." "U kept harassing us"  "U Argue the moment we show up."
    "u think I didn't realize u could b a jerk if u wanted to." "! did but I easily could a left which I didn't"  "u do what u want. " "Karmas gonna get u"
    Being concerned about a job that was left unresolved or completed for almost 30 days in my opinion unacceptable.  I also believe that Tony needs a reality check.  The job was not right from the beginning and yet he acts like he was doing me and my wife a big favor by fixing it.  So, I guess it is buyer beware.

    The same day that we visited the showroom, the owner planned a visit to our home to do measurements and provide us with his best quote. The quote was comparable to what we were given at competing businesses. We signed the contract and scheduled our manufacturers consultation (when they measure your countertops by laser to get the exact dimensions) within 48 hours of signing the contract. We purchased quartz countertops and a free standing island. The countertops arrived within 3 weeks of ordering. They were perfectly installed by the manufacturer. The entire process was professional and stress free.
