    Midwest Concrete & Const Inc
They had built me 2 homes in the past so looked them up again to do a few small things and get quotes for others. They are great to work with, professional and courteous extremely friendly. The work is outstanding, thats why I keep going back. I certainly would not have any other company pour my concrete!!! Next project is a screened in deck this fall/winter!

    Castle Concrete & Hardscapes
Working with Kevin and his team was extremely easy. I typically dread working with contractors because I never know if I will get quality OR professionalism. I will say that Castle was a little higher than the other bids I received, however, I could tell from the moment I met Kevin that the extra cost would be worth it. He and his team were in constant communication with me throughout the entire build. They worked with pace but never cut corners along the way. Kevin would even send me pictures with updates while I was out on vacation. There are always unforeseen issues that tend to come up with large builds and it can be frustrating for the homeowner. Any concerns were outlined by Kevin on the front end and it made for less of a blow when these things came up (i.e. possible damage to my irrigation system due to digging the foundation). Once again not a big deal but I appreciated the heads up. I have held multiple parties and family gatherings in the past 2 months since the patio has been completed and I get so many compliments. I bet I have passed Kevins contact info off to a dozen people at this point. I highly recommend this company for your next big concrete project.

    Kirkwood Landscaping
Excellent work - the design is great, the plants they picked are beautiful, healthy mature specimens. Patty and Jim chose some plantings we were not aware of and they are going to work wonderfully in this location. They did drain work, rock work, bedding, the whole nine yards for the front of our newly built home and we love it. That was just Phase 1 and we are looking forward to the next parts of an overall plan for the whole yard next spring. We are very pleased and would recommend them to anyone.

    Keith's Door Service
This was one of the best experiences with a contractor I've had. Keith was scheduled to arrive between 11 and 12. He arrived early and looked at the garage. He quickly diagnosed the problem and made a few adjustments which fixed the issue. He also noticed some adjustments that needed to be made and addressed those as well. Then he lubricated everything. The door was working and running quieter now, but he didn't stop there. This is a new house and I asked if he knew how to reset the keypad on the outside. He found that it was broken and he had a used keypad in his truck from another job. He gave that to me for free and helped me program it. I was just expecting my door to be fixed, but I got that and so much more. He only charged $65 for everything. What an incredible value! If I ever have any problem with my garage door I will call Keith.

    Quality Door
I've used a couple different companies in the past at my old house and wanted to try someone different at my new location. I live in St. Charles County so searched for companies in this area first. After reading the reviews and checking BBB, decided to give Quality Door a try. I was very pleased with Jeremy and the work he did. He replaced my torsion springs with heavier duty ones at no additional cost and diagnosed/fixed a problem with my garage door sagging when it opened/closed (this had caused unusual wear and a crack in a panel). He took the time to explain my options, including replacing the entire door, but recommended installing struts to reinforce the door instead. I went with that option and the door works perfectly now. In addition, he also performed a courtesy check of my garage door opener and lubricated everything. Jeremy was very clean cut, professional, and returned my call shortly after I left a message. He arrived in the window when he said he would and gave me a courtesy call prior that he was on his way. I would recommend him, esp. being a small business owner, and the price was very reasonable.

RAM provided a prompt and competitive bid. There was a discount for scheduling the work on a day when they were already in the area. The crew was professional, did quality work, and was done in around an hour for a large (270 long) drive. The company said they did not fix/fill cracks. At first this disappointed me, but I bought liquid and troweled filler at Lowes for <$40 and did it myself in a couple of hours. Since it takes 1-2 days to dry, I guess I understand why they said they did not fix/fill cracks. Plus it was cheaper and not that hard. Highly recommend as they were quick (1 hr) and saved me a lot of mess and probably a 1/2 day work at least. $250 for materials vs only $420 for them to do it and provide better sealant than I could provide.

    O'Fallon OverHead Doors LLC
The company arrived when stated and was quick to repair the problem. The two service men were great, and funny. They were able to get the bent panel back in shape and get the rollers back in the track, and the track straight. They did not push for spending money to replace panels or door. The fix was great and door looks as good as new, and now opens/closes smoothly. They completed the repair in 20 minutes. I used them two 2 years ago to replace a broken spring and was pleased with their service then, too.

    Legendary Concrete
Job was started 4/11/18. I immediately saw that the caulk was a light tan and stood out in an unsightly way. Tom Stone told me he would put sand on top of wet caulk to blend it in. That worked, but sand only adhered in a sporadic way. There are small areas with sand and more stretches with only shiny caulk. Now the caulk has totally lifted out of joints in driveway, cracked , and in some areas edges can be physically lifted up. Either the product was not applied properly or he used a faulty product. The sealant was applied on a day when it rained very hard that night. A small section at end of driveway had to be replaced. On that corner a rotting piece of wood was left and then continued with caulk filling the rest of the long horizontal edge across the end of the driveway. It is unsightly! Mops, buckets, bag of concrete, were left on front lawn for two days and was told he was on the way here but did not show. That happened twice when I called with my concerns. My patio furniture was removed and stored in the flower/tree beds. Tom Stone's final payment was on 4/18/18 and he promised to return the next day with his helper to put huge umbrella, Weber grill, table/chaurs, and two heavy flower pots back on patio. I have called him at least 15 times about this, as well as, caulk problems. He finally called me back 4/24/18 and said he had been sick and did not return any calls, but would be here the next day - he did not show. I called every day, but he would not answer. On 5/2/18 he answered yelling, "I can't do this! My truck broke down on a country road and is being towed as I speak. I can't do this and don't know when I will be over there now that I don't even have a truck." I was shocked as he did not say hello and immediately started yelling the above at me. I texted him 5/5/18 in an attempt to get him to put my furniture back on the patio and fix the driveway problems. His response, "I am too busy to go back and forth with you and don't have the energy so say what you want and have a nice e day." I am dumbfounded. He went directly to my bank with my checks and cashed them as soon as he left my home. He seemed like a nice guy until I signed the contract. I have to hire two men from somewhere to move patio items and hire another contractor to fix my driveway. I live alone and this is causing undue stress.

Mason and his crew went above and beyond what was required and they were courteous and efficient. John and his helper, also, did an excellent job of refinishing the family room with waterproof material.
