House Painting reviews in Moberly

Robert did an excellent job from start to finish.
Robert was always on time when he said he was going to be working on the house.
    Robert was fast and efficient.
Robert was very kind and professional.
My house looks clean and sharp with a fresh wash and bright new paint on the window shutters and front door.
If we have any more painting needs, we will definitely be calling Neeses Painting!

Mr Blanton never called at the time he promised, nor anytime afterward. I realized I was not going to be able to afford $5000 to have my medium-sized house repainted anytime soon, so I called to ask for my check to be returned (which was cashed in mid-April). He stated that I had 3 days to decline (which was never pointed out at the time) and that he had some personal problems which prevented him from getting back to me for two months. Sorry, but this was a professional business transaction. Your personal problems should not reflect your business demeanor. In customer service, the customer comes first, whether they're right or wrong. To make a sale and/or keep that customer coming back, they should be your first priority. The local franchisee, which is based out of Saint Louis, I think, put together a brochure that reflects only good things said about the work their employees have done (a LOT of examples!), but that doesn't really tell you how well-liked they are or what the sales person has done previously. In trying to close the deal,, Mr Blanton was also very unprofessional by cussing after we got comfortable talking with each other. Granted, we were on a guy-to-guy conversation, but I'm pretty sure it's never a good thing to swear in front of someone you just met, let alone a potential customer. "I'll cut down that $^*&(*)^% tree for five hundred dollars!" For scraping, spot priming bare wood, and a single coat of contractor paint, $5000 is way too much money to spend for a two year guarantee paint job, in my opinion. I could hire the kid next door to help me for less than that. All I need is a taller ladder - $75 at my local big-box home center. I also got two other estimates to do the exact same work - both came in around $1200. I even offered to grill lunch each day the crew was here... no discount was offered, but I made friends and will recommend each separately on Angie's List. I do not recommend College Works Painting represented by Joseph Blanton in mid-Missouri.
