    Rock Creek Roofing and Construction
The first time I used Rock Creek Roofing and Construction was for the electric line install from my house to the new shop I had built. They did a great job and I havent had a bit of trouble. They also tore out and installed carpet for my whole house. They were quick and clean taking all the old carpet and cleaning up scraps. The job was complete in just a day and a half. The biggest job Rock Creek Roofing and Construction has done for me is replacing my roof and siding on my new shop. The crew came in and took the old shingles off and started replacing them on the first day. They were able to finish putting the new shingles on and cleaning up the next morning. Most of which was cleaning up and making sure there were no nails or shingles on the ground. The gutters and siding on my new shop had hail damage and had to be replaced. I am completely happy about the way it all went back up. I would recommend Rock Creek Roofing And Construction for any of your home improvement needs.

    White Dog Painting & Gutters
Ron Scott, the owner, came out in mid-September and viewed the home. He made several good suggestions about making carpentry repairs that would prevent damage and wood rot in future. Ron also pointed out the siding on the front showed water damage from age and suggested replacing siding on the garage. He promised an estimate within and day on the painting and siding and the garage with Hardy board, and complete the estimate of the carpentry, wood/trim replacement after his crew inspected. An estimate arrived by email late that evening. It was reasonable and including the specific repairs and adjustments he had recommended. He said it might be 6 weeks before he could get a crew out. Fortunately, White Dog called about a week later and said they could send a crew out earlier, if it was convenient. A four person crew showed up in early October and began work removing the damaged siding, rotted wood and preparing the rest of the house for painting. Tony and his three crew members showed up promptly at 9AM every weekday and left around 6PM. Ron came out on the 2nd day and went over the carpentry and repair estimate. He also suggested that replacement of the lap siding on the garage, in time, might not match up well with the rest of the front of the home and putting Hardy board siding across the whole of the front might be an option and gave me an additional quote for the whole front. I agreed to the carpentry and replacing the entire front with Hardy board lap siding. Work continued 6 workdays to completion. It was necessary for me to communicate the specifics of the adjustments and repairs to the gutters and other carpentry items mentioned in the contract but not communicated clearly to the crew. I had noticed that a different brand of Hardy board had been used to finish up the small pieces at the end of the job. It appeared they were damaged to some extent, as if used before. I mentioned this to the crew prior to priming the house and again to Noah Scott, at the final walk inspection. They did not admit not all the siding was new, nor did they deny it either. Ron was particularly sensitive when I first mentioned this in the review and insisted all the siding was new, even though different manufacturers. I suggested producing the invoices showing 2 different purchases of Hardy board. Still waiting to see the invoices. The preparation, caulking, and prime/final coats were expertly done. The house looked brand new. I paid the extra $350 to have them use Sherwin Williams' Duration paint. The last paint job was done with Duration and it held up exceptionally well. As I went back to wash the windows, spruce up the outside, I found that some of the wood trim replaced had the screws driven into the widow tracks, instead of the widow frame. Also, storm widows and doors had not been reinstalled with more air gap than I would have preferred. Two outside lights did not work and it was necessary to reinstall them. I had made White Dog aware of all of these, the whole crew came out as quickly as weather would permit and reattached some of the trim properly and caulked and repainted. I repaired the other items myself. Additionally, White Dog offered to paint an interior room or other handyman work to compensate for the inconvenience.

    Lomonte Homes Painting & Remodeling
Lomonte Homes did an excellent job overall. They performed all the services requested in a very high quality manner and even went above and beyond what I requested. I would recommend them for any exterior or interior painting job and also for other home improvement and maintenance projects.

Though they power washed, they sprayed the outdoor outlet causing it to blow out leaving no electricity to the refrigerator and freezer and lost all the food. I had to remind them of areas missed and still didnt do as asked; a lot left unpainted and not repaired as in the contract. They broke a window and blamed it on someone trying to break in. The window had bars and no one could have crawled threw it. They also said who broke in through the window left the back door open when leaving allowing $3000 worth of items stolen. Their footprints were all over the house. They dumped deck stain on my lawn and left footprints on the sidewalk. They stole my extension ladder. Even when the police were called, the police didnt even take their names and never interviewed them. For all the repairs after they left, it cost me another $3000 to hire someone else. They charged me over $3000 and demanded cash; a money order was given instead even though they put up a fuss at the bank. I was scammed in this deal!

    Painting Innovations
I am delighted with the work and resulting product. The entire process was handled in a professional manner, from the first review of the house, to the prep and painting, to the cleanup after. As we have a wood house, there were many places that had suffered from the hard weather we had this year which had to be repaired or replaced. They did it all, plus the painting and did a beautiful job at it. I highly recommend this company for exterior house painting.

    CJL Multi Services llc
These two young men are so professional and precise in their work. I had asked for a power wash, but upon carefully examining our large patio, they informed us that a soft wash would be what we should do, as they had found several small areas where a power wash might further damage the concrete. They kept their quoted price but spent much more time doing much of the soft wash work in their hands and knees. Their price was exceptional, and upon our request, they kept in contact afterward with suggestions of who we might call to reseal the concrete. They also do duct cleaning, and they are returning this week to give me an estimate to have this work done as well. This local company deserves your business.

    Renew Deck And Fence
They did an excellent job at what I thought was a very good price (much less than some other quotes I got). They kept me up to date with the status of them starting work and continuing (during periods when the weather was too wet to do the work).

    Conway Construction
While the basement finish took a little longer than I anticipated, the quality and final price tag exceeded my expectations. I have used Conway Construction on multiple projects and each time, I'm happy with the owner's responsiveness, pricing, and quality of work. I will continue to use Conway Construction in the future.

    R & L Carpet, Upholstery & Restoration
Rick scrubbed the patio with a mildew killer and then power washed it. $99 We also decided to have him seal it. He came down from $150 est to $120. That turned out to be for about 20 minutes of work so I was felt i was a bit taken on that. All in all though, the patio looks really great.
