AKu Medical CenterI think I was most impressed with the people who handled scheduling the appointment. I had to be transferred to another department so instead of the person just transferring me & hanging up; she placed me on hold, talked to the person doing the scheduling for the new department about my situation, so all I had to do was pick the time that was best for my appointment when I talked to the new person. I found it great I didn't have to explain my situation to 2 different people. Very smooth process.
Dr Madhuri Reddy was very knowledgeable. We had a good visit & she was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction.
I will go back to see her.

ASt Lukes East - Lee's SummitI just thought they were great. I had a very good experience with them. I liked how they treat their patients, and a lot of hospitals that I have been to, bug their patients at night, but they just did enough where you could rest.- Linda L.

ABLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD OF KANSAS CITYI have called BCBS numerous times about my coverage and they're always very quick to let me know exactly what my coverage will be and they process my claims in a timely manner. When there have been issues with getting claims paid, it has typically been because the provider billed the claim wrong and the people at BCBS have been helpful in getting those issues resolved as well. Their website is also very helpful and easy to navigate. I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for insurance coverage.

DSt Luke's Health SystemsMy father (I am his DPOA) was given Lasix even though it was identified during admission as a drug that resulted in previous severe reaction. He became non-responsive for about 10 seconds while also having major projectile vomiting. In my opinion, his condition at discharge from St. Luke was worse than when admitted.

ASt Lukes East - Lee's SummitMy mother was there about a year ago for a hip replacement. The staff was very nice and caring and they took great care of my family members who have been admitted there. We will continue to use them in the future if we needed to- Ed H.

ASaint Luke's East HospitalIt is the only hospital in my area that I trust so I always go here. They are all very efficient, they take good care of you and they are pleasant! Even when they are very busy there is always someone there to help you!- Judith S.

ASt Luke's East Lee's Summit HospitalArrived at emergency room with broken arm. Triage was quick and efficient. The wait to be seen after triage was fairly long, but not out of the ordinary for an emergency room. Despite being in considerable pain, no one gave any feedback about when I might be seen. Once taken back to an examining room, service was excellent. All personnel were professional, genial and conscientious. Concerns were quickly addressed and treatment was outstanding. No other problems were encountered through checking out or follow up.- John S.

AEmergent Care Plus LLCI called ahead to make sure they did stitches/staples because his pediatricians office told us they would look at him but wouldn't stitch or staple him. They were ready for him when he got there and looked at him immediately when he got there to make sure he didn't need to go to the emergency room instead of being treated there. They took us back and after numbing the area on his head for about 15 minutes they inserted 2 staples in the back of his head.
The doctors there are always very nice and know what they're doing.
The only thing I wish they would work on is being in a little bit more of a hurry. When we went to get his staples taken out it took them 15 minutes to take us back to the room even though there was no one else there and then another 30 minutes for them to come take them out of his head. I had my 1 year old with me this time and she was not cooperating with the situation.- James C. -
CSaint Luke's East HospitalI walked into the ER and the woman at the desk was very friendly. She took all my information down and my co-pay.
A nurse came out within 5 minutes of me being there to take me back. She was very nice. She took all my vitals and told me a doctor would be right in.
A doctor came in and after I told him what was going on he wanted to pump me full of fluids to get my hydration up. This is usually not a big deal so a different nurse came in to put an IV in my arm. Instead of using the usual huge vein I have on both of my hands she decides she's gonna stick the IV in the bend of my elbow. She missed... I start getting light headed and since I don't like needles I had'nt been watching her up to this point. I looked down to see blood running down my arm and the bed below covered with blood. She pulled out the IV and covered the entry point with a cotton ball and tape and went on to insert it into my hand. Now I'm sitting on a bed in a hospital robe with cold fluids running into my body and my arm still covered with blood that she didn't clean up. I end up falling asleep and awaking to the doctor who told me he was gonna do an MRI on my stomach. 30 minutes later the same nurse comes in with a prescription and tells me I'm free to go. I asked about the MRI and her reply was and quot; oh he decided not to do thatand quot;. So I take the script to my pharmacist and get it filled, he told me how to take the medicine.
Well the medicine ended up making me more sick feeling than I was so after 2 days of use I stopped it and went to my regular doctor.
I will go back to this ER but not for anything but an absolute emergency...- James C. -
AEmergent Care Plus LLCWe arrived at the clinic and they took our daughter back for X rays. It was a bad sprain and they put a splint on her arm. They followed up the next day. Great clinic, fast, and very good. Open 7 days a weeks which is very nice.- Douglas D.
