  He rebuilds pianos. He is the principal for the Schmitt Music Center, but he also works on his own. I would recommend him for what he does. It was unusual for him to come to Lee Summit because he doesn���t really like to go out of Overland Park, so I probably wouldn���t give his name to other people in Lee Summit. He���s been around forever. He could probably drill up 100 references if he needed them. If I could get him to come out here I would use him again. I was aware of his work because I used to teach at Overland Park. That was the only time that he has ever come to my house. He was tuning the pianos of my students, that���s how I knew him.

  Waters Piano Service

  I���ve been using him since 2000. Every year or every 18 months. The going rate around here is between $90 and $100. He rebuilds pianos. He does a good job. He���s reliable. The piano is in tune when he leaves. Price ��� They���re all pretty much the same, so it���s not like somebody���s being more expensive than anybody else. I rarely give ���A���s���. I wouldn���t give anybody an ���A��� for anything unless they were absolutely amazing. He���s very nice and does a great job, but he���s not amazing.

  Nebraska Furniture Mart

  The responsiveness wasn't too good there. The second time we went for the refrigerator, there were a lot of salesmen on the floor but nobody came to help us, someone had to come from another area because I was standing there, to help us, I would say that was not too good. All of it was pretty much a good experience, quick service, quick delivery, professional delivery, come in as quickly as they can, get your services, get you what you asked for, so I would say, overall it was really good, I really like the Nebraska Furniture Mart.

  We had an arm of our couch which was broken. We hired the Don to do the work. He came to our house on time and got the repair done relatively quickly. The final charge was lower than the price initially quoted on the phone. We would definitely use his service again.

  Don did an excellent job repairing our couch.  Our 18 son jumped on it and t broke a board in the middle of couch and it was sagging. He was able to repair it, quickly, and he was so nice.  I felt comfortable with him and he started to work right away. I was thankful that Don was able to come to our house.  There was no other way to get couch fixed.  The price was very reasonable.  Would HIGHLY recommend.  Thank you Angie's List

  Warner's Furniture Refinishing

  Warner's did a fantastic job! Our dinning set was make if black walnut. It's from the lTe 1800's. Warners stripped off white paint, varnish and stain from decades of changes in our family. When we received all our furniture it was simply gorgeous! The pieces looked like a million bucks. They were friendly on time and stayed to their price. There aren't many people in the area that have the skills that Warners has. I highly recommend them.

  So far, it has gone great.  We haven't slept on the bed yet, however.
  Don was running a little late, but he called and let us know in a timely manner.  This can happen when there is an earlier appointment, so it is not something I blame Don for.
  Don was able to use the broken footboard to make the repair.  He needed to add some brackets, replace and add screws, and glue the pieces together.  I was surprised that the footboard did not need replacement.  However, this meant the wood finish still matched.  
  The bed frame looks as good as it did before it was broken.  Because of the way Don repaired the bed frame, it most likely will be stronger than it was originally.
  Since the bed is an obsolete size (California queen), we are thrilled that it could be repaired; we can still use the unusually-sized mattress we had made a couple of years ago.

  MARTINEZ UPHOLSTERY

  Everything went as promised. There was no problem with coordinating our schedule. The price they quoted was very reasonable and there were no extras. The new upholstery is nicely fitted and left over material was returned to us for making protective covers for arms and hear rest. They were very flexible with payment (we chose to use charge card). Overall, we are tickled with the work they did and are enjoying our like-new chairs

  Kansas City Piano Brokers

  I had a beautiful cherry baby grand piano given to me.  It was valued at approximately $15,000.  Of course, I wanted to make sure competent movers handled transporting the piano from its location (church) to my newly-purchased home.  I contacted various piano movers in the metro.  KC Piano Brokers' price seemed fair and Art (owner) sounded knowledgeable over the phone, so I set up the appointment.  The day before the scheduled move, Art called to ask if we could adjust the time (only a couple of hours difference) because he had a very qualified mover he wanted to use.  I agreed to the adjusted time and met them at the church to move the baby grand to my house.  
  
  The movers were highly qualified and personable.  Their arrival was prompt and they were friendly.  It was evident they used great caution to ensure everything was handled properly.  Once the piano arrived at our home, the same careful attention was paid as they reassembled the legs, pedals, etc.  I would be comfortable referring them to others needing a piano moved.

  Hawn Bedding Company

  They have a superior product-a comfortable bed. This is our second bed we bought from them. We went up in size from a Queen to a King. We still have the Queen is our guest room, it's still wonderful. They make their bed at their shop. We asked for a custom box springs which they did to fit our bed frame. Simple and straight forward.
