One spot removed, but benign. Yeah! Everything else looked good, come back in a year. Very professional and courteous. She takes the time to answer questions. Her assistant was also very nice and helpful. Love Dr. Green

After yet another 40 minute wait for an appointment, we are going elsewhere.
My daughter has been coming to this office for the last 3 years for the occasional skin issue - she tends to get itchy rashes and once had a wart removed.
When I called to schedule today's appointment, I learned the nurse practitioner my daughter normally sees left the practice. I almost didn't make an appointment. She was the only reason we returned here. Every appointment has been at least 30 mins late, the office staff less than welcoming, and the paperwork almost accusatory (you must leave a credit card # on file so they can automatically charge an open balance).
I went ahead and scheduled, thinking maybe the office would be running better and maybe the doctor they scheduled the visit with would be as pleasant and kind as the nurse practitioner my daughter had seen there previously.
Alas we did not meet the doctor. We arrived just before the 10am appointment, updated my credit card number and proceeded to wait 30 mins. When I inquired how much longer, we were told we'd be next. Perhaps other doctors were running on time, as many people came and went while we continued to wait. After another 10 mins I inquired again. The staff made no effort to check with the nurses/doctor to see what our status might be. Just said, you're next. No apology, no explanation.
I asked for a refund of my copay and left.
Should have followed my instincts and scheduled elsewhere. Wish I knew where the nurse practitioner went. Likely know why she left.

Dr. McEwen looked that area over and the rest of my moles. Not concerned about anything he saw. My only complaint is his possible over use of Nitrogen to remove skin problems. Dr. McEwen treated the eruption with Nitrogen. For a long time this area looked like I had been shot there. It has mostly cleared up but I can tell this area from the surrounding area on my hand. Waiting nearly two months for an appointment is unacceptable.

I was 7 months pregnant at the time. During the first office visit, Dr. Fieleke removed the growth quickly and as painlessly as possible. Once the pain shot wore off though, owie! During this visit, the doc indicated that it was likely just a benign growth, but that they would get it analyzed anyway. Lo and behold, under the benign fleshy part were basal cell carcinoma cells. I returned about a week later to have a Mohs surgery performed. In my view, it was a very tricky procedure because the growth was right at the edge of my eyelid. In addition, they were limited in the type of pain shot they could administer, given that I was pregnant (it hurt a little, but I don't think that it usually would if they are able to use the full arsenal). In the end, I am *very* satisfied with the work that was performed. The scar is nearly invisible and is completely undetectable when I wear eyeliner. In addition, his reconstruction ensured that I even still have some eyelashes in that area. Unfortunately, Dr. Fieleke is no longer with this practice.

Our entire family has seen Dr. McEwen and his associate in the past for removal of moles, warts, skin tags, etc. We love their office and their bedside manner and the staff is pleasant and helpful too. My son is 14 and happens to have autism. I was concerned that Dr. McEwen would have a difficult time with him and that the procedure may not even get done because my son was very nervous about getting them removed. Dr. McEwen and his nurse were excellent with my son. They were funny which kept his attention off the procedure and Dr. McEwen is QUICK!!! The cyst was on his nose and the numbing shot was more painful, but between the nurse and the doctor, it was done successfully. They are our and quot;go toand quot; Dermatologists!!

Dr McEwen's staff was very tolerant - I asked alot of questions and contacted the office frequently asking if they could get me in sooner if anyone cancelled. The location of the skin cancer is right above my lip and will require cutting into my lip and pulling it back together. I am extremely worried about this and I feel he and his nurse both were understanding. I did not have to wait long at all to see him and felt he covered most of my concerns - he is a busy doctor, so with that in mind, he spent the right amount of time with me - any other questions his nurse addressed - if you google basal cell carcinoma it scares you to death and I feel he and his nurse both were very aware of that and tried to relieve my anxiety!! Just wish there were referrals to you could see each doctor's work - especially on the face.

I called and said that I thought I had a skin cancer type thing that had disappeared. You would have had to wait a while for an appointment normally. When I told her that she said that they would get me an appointment for the next day. I went in the next day and she put my fears to rest. They were just very helpful.

I seem to be satisfied. They seem to be pretty nice. They were prompt and got right to it. They addressed my problem and they seemed to know what they needed to do. I have to wait on the pathology reports. I will most likely use them again.
