Chimney Cap Repair reviews in Lees Summit

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Went well. They are hard workers -- no goofing off. Excellent in keeping us informed about what needed to be done on project & when they would arrive to do job. Cleaned job site very well. Highly recommend Brick Pros & would not hesitate to have them do work for us again.
    - Gwen P.
  • Showed up for initial inspection. Company missed follow up appointment to discuss repairs. Rescheduled and met to discuss repairs and take measurements. Company was supposed to provide quotes on repairs but never heard back from them. Chimney caps were never installed. Left messages and still no response.
    - David L.
  • Very disappointed in this service.  Multiple missed appointments.  No communication before, during, or after missed appointments.
The work they did seems competent, but I have no confidence that the work was done completely or correctly.  The company claims that they returned to finish work on the exterior upper chimney but never scheduled a time to do that nor did they notify us that they were here or had been here.  It was only when I contacted the company to ask about the status of the work that I was informed that it had been completed without our knowledge.
We did not use the fireplace during the 2014 winter because of the lack of confidence, and we are engaging another chimney service to inspect prior to the 2015 winter.
    - Tim R.
  • All Source Chimney Service was very prompt and professional. They did not hesitate to answer any of my questions.
There work was excellent and I would definitely use them again for any future work I might need. I would recommend them to anyone.

  • It was a whole lot more than $99. They were timely. Two fellows spent about seven hours each. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. I would rate them as one of the best! They were very responsive.

  • It would have been last Fall or last winter for a new damper, I think that's what it is, at the top of the chimney. It was to replace the crown at the top of the chimney. It was great, they provided a solution for our damper closing and we didn't want it to close and repaired the crown and they replaced it. I was satisfied with the price, I don't know how competitive it was or anything, they're the only one I talked to.

  • Ours was a difficult job with access to a taller-than-normal chimney made difficult due to configuration of house and sensitivity of a stone-coated steel roofing material.  The nature of the project was to replace a 40-ft length flue liner and rebuild a chimney damaged by a flue fire.
Flues Brothers performed initial inspection and provided an estimate to perform the work.  They consulted with our homeowners insurance carrier and provided satisfactory documentation such that carrier covered the work under the homeowner's policy.
Flues Brothers developed a plan to perform the work given the difficulties presented by the location of the chimney.  They showed up when they said they would and they were completed with the work before they said they would be.  At all times they were cautious, professional, told us exactly what they were doing and maintained our home in a clean condition.  It was obvious that the staff of Flues Brothers, from the head guy on down, enjoy and take great pride in their work.
At completion of the work, we were instructed as to how to properly use the fireplace so as not to damage any of the newly-installed mortar, concrete, brick and flue until it was 'seasoned'.
This firm is and these guys are really good.

  • The technician was prompt & on-time.  Considering the chimney was has not been inspected or cleaned since I moved into the house 11 years ago, it only took about an hour for the entire process.  The technician also took pictures of the chase top & stack so that I could see the rust damage to the chase top.  He was also very informative about what I need to do to have a gas fireplace installed and was very patient when I asked him to re-explain some items regarding converting to a gas fireplace.
    - Lisa K.
  • We called them to replace a chimney cap that a storm had blown off and have the chimney cleaned. The tech did an excellent job and found some additional problems that we need to have resolved. He gave us a very reasonable quote for the additional repairs.
    - JERALD M.
  • Ordered the cleaning. It took a few weeks because they were so booked up. However, they did show up right on time, cleaned the chimney out, and did everything they said they would. Best of all, there was no mess even though the chimney was really dirty!
