    I made the appointment online the night before, and the tech showed up as scheduled. He was friendly, efficient, and addressed my issue. He also explained a few things about my system that will help me in the future. The cost was reasonable based on my past experience. I really appreciate how this was handled beginning to end.     28 JUN 17, woke up at 0400 hrs, VERY hot ! Determined the blower motor was running, but NO cold air being delivered. Went outside, the A/C unit was NOT running at all. Called first thing in the morning (0730) when they opened. Talked with a very nice lady (sorry, forgot her name) she informed me she could have a service tech there between 1000 to 1200 that day. Service tech (Matt) arrived a little early, checked inside system first then went to work outside. Found the problem quickly, gave me options, I agreed to the service plan I wanted that included some extra maintenance. Matt explained everything very well, was very professional and completed the work in a very reasonable time frame. Turned unit on, he service checked after it ran for a few minutes, had to add some cooling agent, and brought everything up to good standing. Have an 18 month warranty on worked performed. Have used Faszold several times in the past, and always had good service and professional work completed.

    I was charged $435 for a capacitor that I could have bought on Amazon for $60. Not only that but it didn't fix the problem. They had to come out again a week later to service again and this time they determined there was a leak in the A coil which they wanted to charge me $1700. At this point, I asked friends/coworkers/neighbors if they had any suggestions for a reputable HVAC professional. I got in contact with 2 separate gentlemen that work commercial HVAC but do residential work on the side. They both determined that my AC and A coil are shot and gave me a much lower price to replace. A's and Sauer should have diagnosed the problem instead of just applying the band-aid fix. I basically wasted $435 with them since a new capacitor comes with a new AC. If you're in a pinch, they're good to go with because they are fast (I called around 8AM and they were there before lunch), but you will pay a premium. And as stated above, I do not feel they do a thorough job of diagnosing the problem.

    They had just been here a month and a half prior, and they didn't notice that it was broke. When I told them it was broke, when I went to change the filter, they were going to charge me a service call even though they had missed it their last visit. I paid a monthly fee and that paid for my filters and they would come out twice a year. So he came in and started putting on his suits, and I said no and I had brought the filter to the door, because she had said I have someone in the area, and I will have them run by and look. So when he came in, he said no I have to do the service, I am going to have to charge you. I was like but you were just here, you guys missed this. I have the filter right here at the front door, and I said here. I don't live that far away from the building, but she said he was in the area so I just thought they were going to pop in and give me an estimate for how much it was going to cost. He looked at it, and said yep we can't replace it, no new parts, you have to buy something new. I have been a customer, I had bought our air conditioner and furnace, for seven years and I have been paying a monthly fee. So the one time that I ask them to stop by and look at something.

    Gary, one of their service technicians, arrived at our house at the scheduled time and quickly identified a problem with the humidifier. Apparently, the electrician who did the final electrical work on the house did not wire up the humidifier correctly. After finding this, Gary did a complete review of all electrical connections and corrected several issues. Once these were fixed, the humidifier worked correctly. Gary then verified correct operation of the humidifier for the heating cycle as well as checking that it did not operate when the AC was running. Overall, I was very impressed with Gary's work. I especially liked that he took the time to fix the problem correctly and then verified that the complete operation of the system. He also gave me some hints to keep the HVAC system running at peak efficiency. he did a thorough job

    We were installing and deck, and needed my heat pump moved, and reinstalled. They were excellent, family owned company. He charged me next to nothing to move the heat pump, added mew wiring, came inside and added extra wiring, to make sure it was long enough.

    They showed me how to do it. They didn't charge a service call for it. Their customer service was great. There was no reason for them to do it so they showed me how to do it. That was great. A lot of companies would take advantage of that. I've used them several times.

    I was at home with my children and I heard someone out side turn on our outside hose faucet. I walked outside to my front porch and saw the an NRG Mechanical employee had my hose stretch across my side yard to an A/C unit for one of the condos next door. I said "Excuse me?" The employee came over and said that he didnt know if it would be ok to use the hose because the owner at the condo needed to have the unit sprayed off. All of this while standing there with my water still running from the hose. I told him had someone come up to my door and asked I would have said yes but now that you decided it was ok to do it with out permission he needs to turn it off and put it back. He then came up to my door a few minutes later and said some nonsense that he doesnt live here and he didnt know this was not a condo building. It is 100% clear from the parking lot next to my home that this is a home and not a condo building. It is clear that this is a home from the street. There is not parking lot here there is a driveway. Last time I checked, houses have driveways not condo buildings. Even the condo owner knows this is not a condo. It was a completely disrespectful back handed apology. I guess because I am a woman he thinks I am the stupid to believe his story. I work for a plumbing contractor and never would any of my technicians use something on another property with out permission. Completely disrespectful.
