    Beseda Flooring

Beseda was very professional and courteous throughout our engagement.  The floor has received many positive comments over the past two years.  I recently noticed that some of the grout lines had minor cracks in them and asked what could be done.  This was over two years since the flooring had been installed.  Brian was very responsive and came over personally to look at the floor and then followed up with the grout manufacturer to address the problem.  He did an excellent job correcting the situation.  I definitely recommend Beseda for any flooring work you need done.

    Beaty Home Improvements

Josh was friendly and courteous and got right to work.  He explained what he was going to do (we had called him about the appliance first) and finished with in the hour.  I asked him if he had a moment to fix another item, and he was more than happy to reinstall my swinging door and then discussed other services he could provide (flooring, painting, remodel, etc).

We will definitely be using Beaty Home Improvements in the future.

    Barefoot Flooring
Working with Kyle at Barefoot is a pleasure. He's professional and knowledgeable and does not apply any pressure to buy from him. As mentioned, we bought our wood and ceramic from him and will be having them do our backsplash in May. Kyle has great tastes and provided opinions based on his knowledgeable background which made buying for a remodel much easier. I have to mention that we started looking at flooring in August of 2014 and Barefoot was the first place we went. We went to at least 8 other places oer the course of the next few months and came back to Barefoot because the prices and quality we got from Kyle were the best.

    Dan Weber General Construction LLC
Dan Weber and his team did a wonderful job with our remodel. He first did some work last fall replacing our patio door and fixing some water damage on the front of our house and did a really nice job. We brought him back to put in wood floors, ceramic tile, crown molding and shadow boxes in the dining room, tile shower in the master bath and some plumbing work. He always returned my calls right away and was friendly and professional. He and his employee, Cory, made me laugh every time I was around them, which proved to me an ability to do a great job while still having some fun. Dan addressed every concern with immediate attention and made it a priority to make sure I was a satisfied customer. I read some of his negative reviews this year, and I hope the reader notices it had nothing to do with his quality and everything to do with lack of response. As I said, he responded to all of my calls immediately.

    Striking Renovations
Our project was completed to a standard that exceeded our expectations. When John first came out to see our house he listened carefully to our needs and vision for our home. He also made suggestions and gave us information we needed about the realities of such a large project. Soon he had prepared drawings for us that provided a more concrete presentation of his understanding of our wishes and a common focus for more idea development. We were initially very impressed that John seemed to understand our taste and lifestyle and he developed a plan that was not only functional and beautiful but highly personal. The major part of our project was a complete kitchen renovation, including the removal of a wall to open the kitchen into the dining room, the removal of a peninsula, and expansion of a window. Additionally, we replaced all of the ceilings and floors on the main level of the house. John arranged for an interior designer to meet with us and later take us shopping to select cabinets, tile, lighting, flooring, and countertop. We were told that the project would take 6-8 weeks but in fact all of the work described above was completed in exactly 30 days! At that point we had to wait a week for the quartz countertop to be installed. Under a separate contract, Striking Renovations then installed new doors on the main level and completely renovated our basement. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the professionalism of all the workers in our home. All were very knowledgeable, conscientious and hard-working. Equally important to us, however, was that we were very comfortable having these people in,our home. Every day there were two to four men working on our job. Friends had told us to expect the workmen to "disappear" for a week or more while they managed multiple jobs. That was not our experience. Additionally, these men were friendly, cheerful, polite and respectful of us and our property. We completely trusted them, whether we were home or not. One aspect we would like to see this energetic young company develop would be the area of communication. We did feel that sometimes we waited too long for returned phone calls and that we were not always on the same page with verbal requests or questions. We eventually started clarifying important information by email-that seemed to eliminate further problems. But overall, we are VERY SATISFIED with the work, the people and the results we experienced with STRIKING RENOVATIONS. We recommend them to friends and neighbors and will be calling them again for future projects.

    Barefoot Flooring
.We found Barefoot Flooring from a recommendation from our General Contractor, Dan Weber Construction.  We are SO GLAD WE DID.  Sometimes, you can be unsure of who to use (thank's Angie's List), but with the recommendation, we teamed up with the Barefoot folks.  Kyle was amazing (sales consultant)...  he provided advice, listened to what we liked and didn't like, and steered us to a good/better/best set of options.  We've remodeled in the past and have been disappointed in the result vs. this experience.  Kyle came out to the house a couple times, assisted in the design, made sure our color selections worked in our house and in our light.  Overall - a great experience - both for carpet and bath tile.  We expect to use him again for additional projects.

    Dan Weber General Construction LLC
First of all, Dan is very good and will work with you on a design.  He strikes an excellent balance between listening to your needs, understanding and accepting your ideas, and providing suggestions and recommendations.  It was a true collaboration, which resulted in phenomenal results.
Dan also has the experience and contacts to get us with the right suppliers.  Using his recommendations and relationships, we were able to get discounts on flooring, cabinetry and hardware.
The process of the construction went very well.   He and his team are well organized and communicate regularly, often on a daily basis.  In our situation, we had a number of scheduling goals as we were moving into the house and Dan worked to try to get as much done as possible prior to our move in date.  From there, his team kept the project moving and addressed any issues or concerns that we encountered quickly and very professionally.  The bottom line is that sometimes it is hard to find contractors that are fully accountable for what they and their team do...  Dan takes that accountability - and accepts it for his team, and suppliers (when others often would just point the finger).
We have been very happy to have worked with him and are quite certain that we will use his company again for future projects we are already drawing up.
Our advice would be to always check into more that one contractor when looking for a project, but we are confident once you do, Dan will be the best choice for your project.

    JNM Carpentry LLC
Everything was great. I needed to replace the staircase to my second floor as the flooring folks told me that no center support was installed when the house was built. The treads were made of particle board and were cracking at the sides of the staircase. They were holding on by only 1/2" into the grooves of the staircase trim. It was only a matter of time before one of the broke.
Jon came in and completely removed the faulty staircase and replaced it with properly supported treads and risers. Needless to say, the center support was installed and the stairs are completely quiet. Beforehand, they would creak very loudly on each step and you could see them lowering by 1/2" as you went up the stairs.
Obviously, they had to access underneath the staircase. This meant removing the drywall underneath. The drywall was the ceiling to the staircase leading to the basement. Once they were done with the actual staircase, the guys installed new drywall and did all the mud work so it would be ready to paint.
Finally, Jon checked a 3-way light switch that was acting strange and fixed it in no time.
Overall, they were very professional and dedicated to the quality of the work. I will definitely hire them again for future projects!

    Barefoot Flooring
They were great to work with from start to finish. Thy spent a lot of time with us as we decided on type of carpet, making sure our selection would work with our family. We shopped around and their price on Mohawk Silk was comparable or less than every place else we looked. Ordering was easy and they were right on with the wait times. The installers were professional and punctual. The job took several days and everything was picked up and put away every night. I was very pleased with the quality of the installation. Our rooms are large and you cannot see a single seam. The stairs are done flawlessly. I would hire Barefoot Flooring again. They were superb to work with.

    Barefoot Flooring
No problems or complaints from my initial contact with the company through the job completion. Their price was over 30% lower than the three other bids I obtained and their product selection is extensive. John was helpful in directing me to the most suitable product for the project. No attempt was made to steer me to a more expensive and profitable product. The installation was subcontracted by Barefoot to an independent contractor. They did a very good job. Overall, a satisfying experience.
