I go every 6 months to Dr. M***'s office for cleaning. A check up by him once a year. His prices are very high for any serious work you have to have done so my husband decided on another dentist several miles away in another town. I am fortunate to have very good teeth and have not required any extensive work.

They were horrible. The scheduling is fine. I would tell them that I would never recommend them. I was totally dissatisfied. First of all I called my dentist in Southern California and had turned into. That's the word that type of O-ring that I would need. So they told me that instead, okay we're going to have to postpone your appointment for about a week and a half until we get that O-ring which was fine with me and understandable. So when I got there, this dentist just pulled one out. They didn't check to see if mine had come here or anything instead of very interior O-ring and there's only at 15$. Then he checked the one that was pulled. He checked that out and replaced it also with the new interior one. Then while he was doing that, the only thing that I could get and I told him that it didn't fit. It wasn't right. I was charged almost 2500$ with the dental work that he totally ruined and I'm trying to explain that those not fit. It's not the right one. He was too interested in getting me to get new one from them and so when I got home the next day, I called him and I said "this is not holding my implant". He told me to come in. I told him that I was surrounded by the dentist, the nurse, the office manager after I told him that it didn't work. it wasn't right and I was very upset with them. I worked for the State of California, in the Department of Correction. So I'm very direct and I told them I don't think they gave me the right one. It doesn't fit. It's falling out. I would not use them again in the future.

The procedure went well, however, the staff is wholly unhelpful in the transferring of records after the Office manager assured me it would be no problem. They require the entire bill paid before sending any records, which is not a legal practice. They can require a fee for records but cannot force a patient to pay the entirety of their bill still being processed by insurance to obtain them. I was also in need of an appeal letter from the dentist for insurance purposes, once again I was met with road blocks. I was told by the Office Manager that they would do it but it does not usually work. It is difficult enough to deal with insurance companies and the appeals process but to then deal with a rude and unhelpful staff to do so is unacceptable.

Wonderful, I went to see Dr. King because another dentist, Dr. Miller in Columbia put a crown on one of my teeth. It did not fit properly and Dr. Miller said I needed a root canal. I got a second opinion from Dr.King who said I did not need a root canal, all I needed was to have a little ground off the crown because it was hitting another tooth. Needless to say I was delighted and on top of that Dr. King did not charge me for the visit. So my experience was wonderful.
I would like to right a review on Dr. Miller in Columbia.

Not well. I had a crown put on a tooth.  Dr. Miller said I might need a root canal but my tooth was not sensitive so it was crowned using a new procedure which was not adequately explained to me.  Two months later I went back because my tooth did not feel right.  Dr. Miller told me I needed a root canal before he even looked at the tooth.  When he did look at my tooth he did not check to see if it was hitting another tooth.  He just said the crown looks fine, you need a root canal.  I told him what I needed was a second opinion.  The second opinion was.......all you need is a little ground off of the crown because it's hitting the tooth above.   You certainly don't need a root canal.

My husband went in and they did all his new patient paperwork, they took him back, all he needed done was 2 teeth pulled. They numbed him then left and didn't come back for over an hour and a half! Came back in then pulled both teeth without numbing him again. He's a champ so he didn't complain but then it didn't heal and they missed parts of his tooth and his born started chipping, causing tons of pain. We called to have them fix the problem, they said they would do it for free if he came in that day, we dropped everything took him in they operated, BILLED US, and still didn't solve the issue! We ended up going to a completely different dentistry and she did it charge free!

The receptionist informed me that normally, I would have waited several weeks for an opening. When I got there, I started filling out the new patient paperwork when Jenna, the dental hygienist, came into the reception area to get me. She took X-rays using a comfortable digital device rather then the old style film-in-cardboard that was always uncomfortable. She checked for gum depth and then cleaned my teeth with minimal discomfort. When she finished, Dr. Strickler came in and took a look around my mouth, (I assume she had checked the X-rays as well) and said I was good to go. Overall, the experience was very good, and I plan to go back for my next checkup. I would recommend Crown Dental.
