Put me ahead of other jobs because my roof was leaking and it was completed fairly quickly. Looks good. Few roofing nails found after job. Made sure to leave landscaping as is.

We needed full replacement of our roof because it was reaching the end of its normal "life." Our gutters were also damaged from a tree branch and we had several areas of our wood siding that were showing rot and woodpecker damage. We also had a large picture window that had started to leak.

Our sales contact, John Hernandez, was involved through the whole process. He visited the job site and made sure we were completely happy with the work being done. The crews were on time, polite, and accommodating. Most of all, they did great work. At the end of each day they cleaned up so well you could hardly tell they had been there. We had priced this job with a larger, well known company and were hit with a $30k+ estimate. We aren't planning to stay in the house for more than a few more years, so that was more than we wanted to pay. AJ Roofing has similar products of great quality, and with the exception of a few product features, we got exactly the same thing with them as we would have with the larger company.

tore off old roof, replaces roof fittings, felt, ice and water vents, bridge cap, drip edge, pipe jacks, replaced all shingles and vinyl siding pieces

It went SO VERY WELL! I had heard of AJ's from another neighbor after a bad hailstorm hit the neighborhood. Unlike some of the larger compnies, Adam, the owner, did not ever force me to sign anything with him until we had a contract in place. From beginning to end, Adam and his crew were professionals. He was not pushy at all. I liked the fact that he was local as well. Aj's gave me the best bid for the same roof that other companies were using (Timberline). He was also able to replace siding that had holes in it with an exact match even though the home is 8 years old. He tore off the entire side and replaced the damaged pieces with pieces originally on the bottom. The new siding was placed on the bottom and is covered by rose bushes to account for the fact that some fading had occurred. I have two yappy dogs that were not upset in the least by the crews presence. Further, my yard, new landscape, mulch, etc was completely untouched. AJ's was always on time and easy to reach. Definitely give AJ's a call.

AJ Roofing removed two layers of old wood shingles and put on a great new roof of composite shingles and roofing with better attic ventilation, etc.

Overall,it went great! Adam spent a lot of time answering all questions and explaining his company and materials he would use. He gave us choices in price, color, etc. Everyone showed up on time, worked well together, was respectful of our property, did a good job and cleaned up so well, we didn't know anyone had been there except for the fact that we had a new roof.

Full roof tearoff and gutter replacement.

I had seen AJ Exteriors signs in the neighborhood since the heavy hailstorm on 5/28/12, but was worried about going with someone based out of Kansas City. If I had called them the first day, I would have saved myself over a month of bids, voicemails, and hassle. At last count, I believe I contacted 7 different contractors for bids on the repair to my roof after receiving my insurance estimate. One, Lane House, could not put a bid in my hand after 6 calls. After a month of back and forth calls to Casey Exteriors and Andres Roofing, I talked to a neighbor I trusted about AJ Exteriors and he talked to me for about 15 minutes about how great of a job they had done. I called Adam Juarez exactly one time. Adam, beyond being extremely approachable and professional, understood every aspect of his business and was able in one inspection and one meeting with me to finalize almost everything I needed to get done. He was very familiar with how the insurance estimate was laid out and what to do to make sure I got everything wanted. Where other contractor roofing crews were six weeks out, Adam's was ready to go in six days and scheduled me very quickly. A couple days of intense heat delayed me by a week but that is completely understandable and I was in no rush. They finished the roof in one day and the gutter installers came out less than a week later and finished their work in one go as well. Adam's carpenter, Jim, also was really enjoyable to work with and went the extra mile to make sure everything was right. He worked through a very long Saturday (five hours beyond his original estimate) to get everything perfect. I really appreciated the expertise and attention to detail. AJ Exteriors is strictly no nonsense and was able to show me dollar amounts almost immediately. There was no dancing or guesswork. They provided amazing service and attentiveness. They are, without a doubt, the best contractor I have ever worked with. I wish they did more than exteriors. You would be crazy to choose anyone else.
