    WestCo LLC
I have called Westco twice and both times they came out within a couple of hours. The first time, I had a competitor from Columbia blow out my sprinkler system and they said I had a problem with a couple of diaphragms and that it would take a couple of hours to find the problem and fix it BUT they could not come back to Jefferson City for 3 weeks! Since I wanted to sow (and water) some grass seed, that was not an option. I called Westco (for the 1st time) and they came out that day and said they doubted it was a diaphragm. In five minutes they determined it was one old sprinkler head with worn gears. They replaced it and the system has worked fine ever since. A few weeks later, Rainbird Customer Service told me I had a hardware problem, but Westco doubted that after hearing the symptoms. They were right, and solved the (programming) problem in about 20 minutes. Needless to say I won't be calling Tarzan to maintain my sprinkler system again.

    KORTE TREE CARE
As a family of tree lovers, we were looking for a certified arborist to help us to determine the trees that would need to be removed or trimmed back prior to rebuilding our deck. Josh Korte eased our minds where some trees were concerned and explained concerns and things to watch for concerning the health of some of our other trees. He is a good man with fantastic integrity. He will not take trees that do not need to be taken unless you decide it is needed. His quote was perfectly in line with other "non-arborist" companies and had us on his schedule within just a couple of weeks. He waited until he knew the land was dry enough to handle the equipment and called to say they were ready to remove the trees. His crew was on time, and did a fantastic job. All together, they removed 5 trees. His Crew chief Eric was amazingly skilled as he maneuvered the bucket throughout our tree filled back yard, trimming the dead wood out of our many other trees. He preserved the shape and integrity as he went by personally checking branches by hand for life, before trimming. The crew used pads to protect the lawn, ground out 9? stumps, raked the lawn cleaning up all debris, and were on there way in 2 hours time. All of it was done with smiles on their faces. We highly recommend Josh and his Crew.

    Millersburg Valley Landscaping LLC
Began scope of work on February 11, 2016.
Step 1. Removed old porch (18?6? x 5?0?) which was falling away from the sides of house and had broken corners due to the fill settling over the years. Discovered 18" - 24" gaps underneath when removed and only one piece of re-bar held the porch in place to the house at one interior corner.
Step 2. Excavated hardscape area and removed designated old landscape plants.
Step 3. Created new hardscape patio (18?6?x16?0?) plus steps to three different access points. Added entry stoop to front door to prevent potential falls as requested. Created steps for accessing play area in the yard for our grandchildren to enjoy. Created steps with downcast lighting to access front sidewalk. Added a 12-stone permanent bench. Used landscape blocks, 1" rock base, sand base, tumbled stone pavers, and finished with two applications of polymeric joint sand. Used landscape glue in places where it is appropriate to help hold material together.
Step 4. Removed old stone steps to driveway and healed in living plants for transplanting later.
Step 5. Excavated and created 12 steps with low voltage lighting for stairway to driveway. Construction materials included Red Cedar treated pine timbers, black ground cloth, sand base, flagstones and rainbow rock fill.
Step 6. Relocated living plants. Added new fill dirt and removed all construction debris from site. Seeded and strawed fill areas.
Scope of work completed on February 26, 2016.

    ALTHEUSER TREE SVC
They came when they said they would and did what they said they'd do. Prompt, professional and very knowledgeable about trees/plants. No variation on the cost after job was done. This is the third time I've hired them for work and could not be more pleased. In the past, I've asked him to give costs for each segment of a job, which he has done.

    WestCo LLC
Owner Mike is very responsive and professional.  He keeps my place in excellent condition year-round at a reasonal, competitive price.  He keeps the core of his crew year-round, which helps them to get to know my place to get the job done right to my satisfaction.  The billing is prompt and accurate.  They are moving to electronic billing, which I prefer.

I realize that the lawn care companies are busy catching up after the heavy rains.  However, it is very short sighted to not make a diligent effort to respond to potential customers request for service.  I called several times and sent an email to the company over a period of two weeks and received one call that I could not answer.   Larry C. Lock'S Landscape Design
The job met all our expectations and was professionally done.  There was some timeline creep due to weather and other commitments but that possibility was known and understood by the purchaser and did not create issues.  Material deliver to the site caused some damage to our yard due to wet conditions.  Lock's repaired the damage to our satisfaction.  There were minor changes requested in the plan as the project took shape and those were accommodated without issue.  As with any contractor, the more detail you put in the work plan the happier both you and the contractor will be.  We failed at that detail but Lock's did not take issue with our requests and worked to solve any problems or concerns we had.  We are quite satisfied with especially Ryan's work ethic and skill.

    ProLawn Landscape Maintenance, LLC
I have used them for probably a year and a half. They do well; we've only had them do just minor things, nothing very great. The guy who comes out knows what he is doing, he is very friendly, he understands and he is here when he says he will be.

    ALTHEUSER TREE SVC
He is excellent and his crew is excellent. He's on time when he says he's going to be here. He oversees what everybody is doing and he is extremely cautious of all neighbors and all surrounding things to make sure that nothing get damaged when they are taking down a tree. We checked out a couple of other services and they were all very competitive. His prices are very fair for what he has to do.

    Alford Tree Svc LLC

Alford Tree Service called my residence on June 6, 2012 at 9:30am to inform me that they would be by at 8:30 am to start cutting my tree down that I requested to be cut.
They showed up at my house on time, backed up the truck and tree mulching machine down the driveway, accessed the area,  got his equipment ready with 1 assistant and climbed the tree and started cutting the tree down. As each limb was cut the assistant took the limb to the mulcher, after the first part of the tree was cut down they came to the door to let me they were going to take a break .

,The workers returned 30 minutes later and continued cutting the other part of the tree down. At 1:15pm they were finished and the area was cleaned of all branches and debris. They came to the door to let me know they had finished and if I had any concerns and was I pleased with the service.
