    All Weather Decks
All Weather Decks replaced our old deck and added a covered portion we wanted. The crews we had on site were professional and efficient. We couldn't have been happier with the way the project turned out. Communication, work, setting expectations, and follow up are all one of the best I have experienced! Big thanks to Brett, Shari, and Diego/crew! If you want a new deck then I highly recommend All Weather Decks

    MOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION
Mountain Construction brought our beautiful 1950s house back to life. Glenn manages a small team and together they seamlessly remodeled the first floor and part of our basement in 5 months. The work never stopped and it was so great getting to know Rob, as well as Mark and Kevin. They take so much pride in their work and were really invested in our home and preferences. Mountain Construction is wonderful to work with and we love the way everything turned out; they genuinely want your home to look amazing AND to be ready to withstand the next 25-50 years. They improved/upgraded our home as needed in addition to the agreed upon work and made sure everything was done with outstanding craftsmanship. Constant communication, questioning and documentation will help make everything run smooth. Plan to make most of your material selections from Home Depot or Lowes, it worked out great for us because there were so many affordable options. Thanks again to Glenn and the team, we are happy to be a reference or share photos.

    Archadeck of Kansas City
Archadeck built a screened in porch and added a deck to our house. I cannot say enough great things about the company and the professional people associated with Archadeck. Dan, who first came and made the proposal to us along with completing the necessary paperwork and drawings for the project to Craig, who supervised the work and delivery of materials. Everything about our project was done in a timely fashion and we couldn't be happier with the results. Nick and Rocky built the structures from the ground up. These 2 gentlemen are true craftsmen in the building and construction trade. From digging and pouring footings to actually building the porch and deck structures, Nick and Rocky worked hard and turned out a beautiful screened in porch and deck area for us to enjoy. They were kind and courteous and answered all of our questions during the build. The fit and finish and attention to detail by these pros is remarkable. We are truly happy with how everything turned out. Thanks goes to Nick and Rocky. We can highly recommend Archadeck to anyone considering adding a deck or a porch or any combination thereof to their home. From obtaining the necessary building permits from the city of Overland Park to working with the city inspector during construction to make sure all codes were complied with, Archadeck always got 100% approval from the inspector. Dan at Archadeck made sure that professional roofers and electricians were also used during the construction and he recommended a great landscaper (Red Oak Landscaping) that we are also using to give us the professional landscaping to complete the total look we wanted. We now have a wonderful screened in porch and a decked in area for my gas grill to enjoy the rest of our lives. If you want the best company to work with on your project and the best people doing the work, we suggest you give Archadeck an opportunity to speak with you.

    Blue Springs Siding & Windows
Great people, great service, great workmanship. It couldn’t have been easier to decide on this company for my siding, windows and gutters. (They built a sunroom for me 2 years ago - it’s fabulous too!) Their products are high quality - they know their product, they know what is best suited for your home. No high pressure sales. I felt very comfortable with my decision right away. No second thoughts at all. Their work crew - wow! All were so friendly, hard working, and clearly experienced. I was amazed at how quickly they tore out the old and installed the new. What a show of teamwork! I can already tell a difference with the new windows. Not only are they beautiful, but they aren’t hot to the touch when the sun shines in like my old ones. Will help with the utility bills. And I’m not hearing as much outdoor noise as I did before - bonus! In just one week my home looks brand new. Blue Springs Siding and Windows has made me proud of my home. Best decision I ever made!

    Stumpff Homeworks, LLC
We had a very good experience working with Stumpff Homeworks and will use the company again should we do more remodeling. The owner, Tom Stumpff, is skilled in Project Management, Design and Communications and has a strong network of competent subcontractors and material suppliers. Since our project would entail a complete remodel of kitchen, family room, sun room and guest bathroom, as well as modifying a load-bearing wall and replacing the flooring, we knew there would be a significant number of trades and material suppliers involved. Additionally, although we knew what we did not like about our house, we did not have a clear vision of what we wanted instead. We had talked in general terms with two other companies but did not feel they were up to the job. A recommendation to consider Tom came from a neighbor who had recently used Tom’s company on a bathroom remodel and who had known Tom for a long time. In our first meeting Tom answered all our questions, be they operational (how his company accomplishes their work) or legal (work permits, licensing, insurance, release of liens) then listened carefully as we described what we did not like about the current configuration of our main level. Tom told us he generally acts as both the Designer and General Contractor then offered a number of suggestions for us to consider. We soon decided that Tom had the skills set, connections and personality traits we needed for a successful project and asked him to proceed with a rough design and estimate. Tom arranged for the all the major subcontractors to visit the house (we appreciated that they all came on the same day) and after getting their feedback, developed a quote for the work that was within our budget. After a bit more project definition he submitted a draft contract and at our request included a listing of all suppliers and subcontractors and tied the payment schedule to getting a release-of-lien from each as well as his own company. We ended up with over 20 lien releases. Tom arranged and accompanied us on many visits to material suppliers. He guided our selection of colors and materials, offering his recommendations in an easy manner leaving us feeling free to disagree. The demolition and remodeling work took a number of months and we stayed in the house during this time. We appreciated that the workers cleaned up the site each night. A number of times during the project we had concerns about how things would turn out. We brought these concerns to Tom each time and either Tom or his very capable colleague, Gabe, promptly solved the issue (if it really was an issue…often they were still working on that part of the project). He demonstrated his open-mindedness by incorporating our suggestions where appropriate and feasible. It is obvious from the above but worth highlighting here that Tom communicated well with us during this project, that we are satisfied customers and that we have no hesitation recommending Stumpff Homeworks.

    Top Line Glassworks
A couple things 1.when I called him I never got a business name from him it seems he is going by tip line construction though everything current suggests top line glassworks This window was first called on over a year ago to be worked on. My landlord set it up because I rent . It took multiple calls to get this mans company to come to my house they took measurements and notes because I had a problem with the window frame inside. Months and I heard nothing I call him and get excuses and told my window is here and let’s schedule a time , this took again multiple calls to finally get him out He shows up with a window the wrong size and none of the notes about what’s going on inside , he tells me he will be back in a week with the window and he doesn’t even need to come in so he will just show up None months later again I contact him because even my landlord is wondering about this and I’m worried for them because I fear this man billed her He tells me again a week it doesn’t happen , the landlord calls and they say another week it doesn’t happen . I contacted him this morning and he had no plan to come to my house to do this work other jobs are needing to be done like *** a year and my window job doesn’t take priority? He cursed at me and hung up on me then tries to call me back like it’s all cool? My landlord thankfully has instructed me that if he hadn’t put the window in today someone else would , I will never recommend Kent or this company his lack of punctuality, respect and customer service is unfathomable . This man lacks any respect for anyone and in these times were small businesses are hurting I find of shameful that he would purposely screw over the people that work for him by putting on such a infantile display on how to operate a business

    Probuilt Patio Enclosures
The worst experience dealing with ANY business. Probuilt took a deposit may 2020 for a patio and deck. I asked if I could have my deposit returned after 4 months. The owner of company was yelling and cursing. He called me a dick an ******* for questioning if they still had my deposit. To even get my deposit I was going to have to pay for their attorney to draw up a cancellation letter.
