    It was not great experience. I like my doctor okay, but the office is terrible. There were two appointments last time first one just to see the doctor and second one for the lab and the second appointment I thought was unnecessarily long wait, I would think I have waited over an hour just to get blood.

    I went in at 9 o' clock in the morning and at 4.30 I get an ice cream cone. He is great. I never had any problems. It is amazing how they do that. I never heard anybody say anything bad about him. My sister had some breast cancer surgery and she just swear by. He is little bit unusual you know what I mean but he is very good. His staff are wonderful. If you out there to see him and he still in surgery you just got have to wait, but he has always been there when is supposed to be. If you ask him questions he will give you the answer and if he don't say anything you figure everything is okay. I would definitely want him to do a surgery if it was necessary.

    When I first had my consult with the physician's group they seemed to be very genuine and thorough regarding my care. I had my EGD scheduled without any difficulty. I was given adequate information regarding my procedure and how to prepare the morning of. I was also given patient access for my own personal account where I could view further information regarding my procedure and test results. I did access this site for further information the day that I made the appointment. Since patients who are having an EGD procedure are put under mild anesthesia I was required to have a driver with me. My mother accompanied me to my appointment. Upon arriving to my appointment we entered the office and approached an empty reception desk. After a few moments a medical assistant did come to the desk to assist me with my check in. While going over my information, mind you in front of a waiting room full of people she informed me that I would be required to pay for the procedure prior to being taken back to for the procedure to be done. Of course I was at a loss for words because I had not been informed of this prior to arriving to my appointment. The assistant informed me that the Dr. office did send a letter to me by mail a few days prior to my appointment, but was not surprised that I had not received it yet. She also informed me that the information was placed on my patient portal and she could tell that I had not seen this information in the portal prior to my appointment. I told her that I had accessed the portal the day I made the appointment but did not see such information. I asked how come I was not informed by phone if they were aware that I had not received this information? She stated that she would speak to the Dr. to see if I could be billed for services. Upon returning to the desk she informed me that since I did not bring sufficient money with me to cover the appointment that THEY would ALLOW me to go home to get the money and return later in the afternoon to have the procedure done. When reading over the consent for procedure I noticed that I was being charged for a procedure that they may or may not have to complete. Of course they wouldn't know until they initiated my EGD. This entire conversation took place in front of a waiting room full of strangers. Being a medical professional myself I was appalled by the way this situation was handled. I am also fully aware of how this office violated my HIPPA rights on several levels. How am I going to be responsible for paying for a procedure when they themselves are not even fully aware of what the full procedure may or may not include. I am also appalled that they do this prior to even billing my insurance. This is a prime example of how patients feel when the bottom dollar is put over their general health. Having an acute illness is scary enough especially when you do not fully know what all is going on. We look to our physicians for support and guidance during times like these to only be told that money is more important. I have no problem paying for services rendered but I am not okay with being charged for services that they themselves are not even sure they will have to do. I am also not okay with being blindsided by this information on a day that is already stressful enough. As medical professionals we are responsible for ensuring that our patients are fully aware of what may or may not be done to them and the effects that could be associated with procedures. We are also responsible to ensure that all financial applications associated with procedures are explained and arranged prior to procedure dates. This unfortunately was not done for me. The endoscopy center treated me as though I was an inconvenience since I was not aware of the amount due and they were so gracious to reschedule me for later in their day. I guess in hind site they actually did me a favor by making me recognize that it is time to find another physician.

    He has a wonderful team that works alongside of him. They even offer classes to prepare you for what to expect after surgery. He performed my surgery in January and it went very well.  I was able to go back to work within three months in an environment where I am on my feet all day long. He is the sports medicine doctor at KU and also the team doctor for the Kansas City Royals.  He is phenomenal!

    It wasn't uncomfortable. They were friendly. They had a big, clean office. I'm big on cleanliness. I need an office that I feel is clean for when I get pregnant and stuff, and it was really nice. She also seemed like she really cared.

    I had to go to the hospital emergency room on the 13th of April. I had heart rate issues. My heart went into SVT (over 180 beats per minute). During the visit they also did a CAT scan as they thought there might also be a blood clot. There was no clot but they found a spot on my lung. They told me to follow up ASAP with my primary care doctor ( Dr. Jeffery Luerding at Gashland Clinic)

    I called Gashland Clinic first thing Monday morning and explained the situation and they got me in that day. Dr. Luerding relieved some of my concern and referred me to a lung specialist. He also discussed in detail the findings on my CAT scan.

    I have been going to Gashland clinic for over 15 years and have always been satisfied. They schedule appointments so you rarely have to wait over 15 minutes. You can leave a message for the doctor's nurse and they will call you back within a reasonable time.

    I have had Dr. Luerding as my doctor for these years and he actually cares about his patients. I highly recommend him and Gashland Clinic. They also have urgent care which I have used on occasion with satisfaction.

    I usually see Dr. Starr, but he did not have any openings for a couple of months so I was scheduled with Dr. Rigden. He went over my history. Since my ER visit I had been having dizziness. Therefore, he had a heart monitor put on to determine if my heart was the cause.

    I have been going to this group for several years due a heart issues and have been satisfied. I was very satisfied with Dr. Rigden this last visit and will use him again

    I saw Dr. Timothy Hall. Firstly, I am considered high risk for surgery, as I have a blood clotting disorder. It is manageable to have surgery, just have to take a few more precautions. After seeing several gynecologists over the past couple of years for painful, heavy and irregular cycles, Dr Hall was the first one who did not want to put me through more experiments. He scheduled surgery after our first consulation! I don't mean to sound like he was quick to jump to surgery, but I had already been through every other option available! The surgery and recovery went smoothly with no unexpected complications. I feel like a new person! Dr Hall is compssionate, thorough and a very skilled surgeon., as well as great clinician.

    Dr. Davis has been my urologist for 16 + years. He's the BEST DOCTOR I've had thus far!!! He truly cares about his patients. He always has the brightest smile on his face and has so much compassion not just for myself but all of his patients!!!

    As one may think, a colonoscopy isn't performed in the doctors office but at an outpatient facility or surgicenter type facility. The lady that set up my original appointment was friendly. Anyway, mine was set up for Midwest Gastroenterology. West Glen called to let me know Midwest Gastro... wasn't covered by my insurance so they had to move it to centerpoint ambulatory surgery center BUT... they didn't bother to tell me THEY weren't covered by my insurance -- that alone gives them an and quot;Fand quot; in my book. In addition, the billing office didn't process the bill through both of my insurance companies and the billing lady (didn't catch her name) was rude.
