    I had already made a review but I will be more specific with this painter status.It���s true I had him do most of my house. I called him again because I was working 72-76 hrs a week for 3 months, I did not have time to interview someone else, plus I trusted him with my belongings while I am gone. And I do leave my 15 yr. old and 8 by themselves they get ready and before my 15 yr. pls gets on the bus she takes her to the sitter.. I am single not married but I do have a boyfriend that I don���t live with, and I make my own decisions working in my home. But I will post the times my adt logs when the door opens and a few more pics of the job he did, in he claims he lost two days no I hired him on the 19th he worked that day he showed up at 8:24 am, on the 20th my daughters locked the front door. I asked if he wanted the pad code he was bidding another job, which was fine so he didn���t work that day. On the 21st my girls closed the front door at 7:22 he got there at 7:23. I will post the pics of the times doors opened and shut, while I am at work and the girls are at school, So the only day he was not able to work was on the 20th. And I will post the conversation we had threw text message. Saying he should be finished on Thursday I just want people to do their review before they hire my mistake was I didn���t follow with that, so I learned the hard way. Maybe I should not go to the extreme but I worked very hard for my money, all I wanted was a good job done, I have hired landscaper, and plumber just hired a carpet installer as well, and I had no issues. I also asked him to install some new door knobs that weren���t in the contract but, I was going to pay him for that.

    We had a bit of a rough start: the project was started about a month late. That left me feeling anxious, but I was also in contact with our sales rep Karin, and she always responded to my questions in a timely manner. I have to thank her also for being super patient with all of the questions I texted her over the course of the project, too, she is super! Once the project started, things moved very smoothly. The first team took care of installing all of the studs, drywall, and all the mudding/taping, which went up over about 2 weeks of daily work. They wrapped up with spraying the ceiling with a nice texture. The gentlemen performing the work always cleaned things up when they would leave for the day, and asked questions as needed. Once the first effort completed, the detailing crew took over the day to day work, which included installing the trim, doors, flooring, banister and spindles for the stairs, and took care of the painting. The electrician came on a couple of occasions to handle lights, outlets and the like, and the plumbing work was done toward the end (most of it was already in place, just a matter of redirecting the sink's drain). It took a couple more weeks to wrap up with everything that needed to be finished, including the installation of the new toilet and sink. The only issue we kind of struggled with was sometimes I would ask the crew a question and they had no prior knowledge of some aspect that was supposed to be completed - specifically an access panel to the humidifier behind one of the walls. What I learned though is that the whole team typically had meetings before arriving at the house to discuss the day's tasks, and that if I went to Karin first to ask about something, she would then make sure the crew knew what needed to be done. Once I understood that dynamic, we didn't have any more concerns - just have to be attentive and proactive in reaching out for information. Overall, my husband and I are SUPER happy with the results! We love this new space! Everyone involved in completing the basement remodel was very professional, and honestly they left the basement even cleaner than they found it. We would definitely consider having them over again if we have another remodeling project to complete.

    We purchased a new home and needed the entire place painted. I saw the reviews on Angie's list for Turner Painting Co., read their website and decided to go with them. I had so much that I needed to organize that I didn't shop around, I just decided to have faith in the good reviews I had read. I contacted Mr. Turner by phone, told him that I needed his crew to come the day after we closed. I had hoped to have the entire place painted before we moved in furniture and as we were moving in boxes and smaller items. He had the day available so I asked if I could make a down payment to secure the day, paid him $500 and we were set to go. I arranged for Mr. Turner to meet me at what was to be our new home during our buyer���s inspection and from there he was able to give me his price for the job. The inspection was a bit chaotic for various reasons so I told him Mr. Turner that I would look over color options and contact him via email to let him know what colors I would choose. Mr. Turner assured me that his crew was going to do a great job and that I would be very happy with the work. I felt that he wasn���t just giving me his pitch. Something about him felt right and I had complete faith. When I asked how long the job would take he told me roughly 2-4 days depending on the weather. If it rained his outdoor crew would be available to paint indoors and the job would be done sooner. I let him know that my husband and I would work to stay out of the painters' way so that they could have the elbow room to knock out the job as soon as possible. He told me no worries, his crew could work around anything. So day after move in comes and Mr. Turner show up with his painters, Jane and Zack. They verified my color choices and rooms, then quietly set to work. My husband and I had had a miserable day the day before because our seller had been a nightmare. He left unwanted furniture, clothes, and junk in the house, storage unit and garage and left the home filthy. The decorative moldings and trims were so filthy with nicotine that the painters had to wash them down to get the masking tape to stick. We were still dealing with the seller, who not only violated his contract but who became very abusive to me and our real estate agent when we tried to get him to pick up what was I intially a couple of truckloads of items. So our painters came into a home of high stress and anxiety. It's hard to describe how they ended up doing so much more than provide a professional painting service. But quite honestly they were like a balm on my soul. They were simultaneously professional and personable. As we worked around each other, painting and moving items in we engaged in small talk and with each passing hour I felt more and more as if no matter what our seller did or did not do, it was all going to be just fine. This team of two finished our kitchen and dining room on the first day and masked out our living room, which was no small feat because we had a fireplace and a lot of fussy, decorative molding to mask out. On day two it rained, which made me happy because that meant the outdoor crew would join them and our work would be done faster. So two more men showed up who were also very professional and who did a wonderful job working around us. The four of them managed to paint the living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, untility room and large hall before the day was out. We were amazed. 2 coats and beautiful work. By the end of the day Jane and Zack, who we came to learn is her son, were putting final touches on the hall. The other two men had finished and were gone. We chatted with them as they wrapped things up and I realized 2 things, it was wonderful to have such a great job finished so fast and I was going to miss them. Yeah, it was like that. They painted away the bad juju and by the time they were leaving they felt like old friends who were moving away. The paint job was beautiful, cleanup was thorough and they left us touch up paint. Before they parted Jane told me that if over the next few days we noticed any bad areas, to call and they will return to make it right. Bottom line, if you are like us and don't know where to turn for a good painters, I can't see how you can go wrong with this company. I am including a picture of the living room. For purposes of time and cost I had them paint the walls only, the trim is the original paint.

    We were very disappointed with the quality of this companies work. They did a very poor job, their subcontracted painter spilled paint on multiple areas of the house costing us hundreds of dollars in repairs and a door was hung backwards. The work was half completed, they then called and said they didn't want to complete the job. We had already given them half the deposit and they did not return it. I tried writing this same review on their web page via Facebook, however, it was deleted and I was blocked from it. So, I guess that's why there are four 5 star reviews and why I was fooled.

    Quick to provide bid, very confident in experience and reasonable estimate. Excellent crew, professional, offered great suggestions, even repainted room after we selected a color that we had not sampled (lesson learned: always sample your paint colors). Very responsive to questions, returned phone calls quick, and prompt every day. No photos yet, still waiting to replace light fixtures.

    All the work went extremely well. Brent, the foreman, was very responsive, professional and great to work with. Larry, the construction worker, was also very responsive, professional and a delight to have in our home. Larry concentrated on doing a great job, with as little mess as possible. Everyday he cleaned up the areas after his day's work. Both, Brent and Larry, became part of our family, which was especially important as we watch our two grandsons every day. We are very glad we found them on Angie's List. We will most definitely keeping their phone numbers for future use on projects.
