AAll Weather DecksWe hired All Weather Decks ("AWD") to construct a complete makeover from an old wood deck. We worked with Brett to create a seasonal room designed with multiple large windows to overlook the lake area, along with an open composite (Deckorators-Voyage) deck with a staircase that led down to the open patio. The footing and deck posts were covered with a stone veneer. The construction went well. We experienced a few issues such as clean-up and a damaged door, but they were timely addressed. We cannot say enough about Armando and the beautiful work of his finish crew. He was very professional, diligent and eager to please. He always cleaned up his work area each day. He is a huge asset to the company. We have received multiple compliments. Thank you so much AWD.- Barbara L.

AMOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTIONMountain Construction brought our beautiful 1950s house back to life. Glenn manages a small team and together they seamlessly remodeled the first floor and part of our basement in 5 months. The work never stopped and it was so great getting to know Rob, as well as Mark and Kevin. They take so much pride in their work and were really invested in our home and preferences. Mountain Construction is wonderful to work with and we love the way everything turned out; they genuinely want your home to look amazing AND to be ready to withstand the next 25-50 years. They improved/upgraded our home as needed in addition to the agreed upon work and made sure everything was done with outstanding craftsmanship. Constant communication, questioning and documentation will help make everything run smooth. Plan to make most of your material selections from Home Depot or Lowes, it worked out great for us because there were so many affordable options. AArchadeck of Kansas CityArchadeck built a screened in porch and added a deck to our house. I cannot say enough great things about the company and the professional people associated with Archadeck. Dan, who first came and made the proposal to us along with completing the necessary paperwork and drawings for the project to Craig, who supervised the work and delivery of materials. Everything about our project was done in a timely fashion and we couldn't be happier with the results. Nick and Rocky built the structures from the ground up. These 2 gentlemen are true craftsmen in the building and construction trade. From digging and pouring footings to actually building the porch and deck structures, Nick and Rocky worked hard and turned out a beautiful screened in porch and deck area for us to enjoy. They were kind and courteous and answered all of our questions during the build. The fit and finish and attention to detail by these pros is remarkable. We are truly happy with how everything turned out. Thanks goes to Nick and Rocky. We can highly recommend Archadeck to anyone considering adding a deck or a porch or any combination thereof to their home. From obtaining the necessary building permits from the city of Overland Park to working with the city inspector during construction to make sure all codes were complied with, Archadeck always got 100% approval from the inspector. Dan at Archadeck made sure that professional roofers and electricians were also used during the construction and he recommended a great landscaper (Red Oak Landscaping) that we are also using to give us the professional landscaping to complete the total look we wanted. We now have a wonderful screened in porch and a decked in area for my gas grill to enjoy the rest of our lives. DPrecision Painting and WoodrotWe hired this company to repair wood rot around two second story windows and then to paint them. When the job was done I noticed that few of the boards that I knew were rotten were not replaced. I asked the head crewman about it and he assured me that they were repaired. On the final walk through, I got up on the roof and on one of the boards that had not been replaced, I could have put my fist through the caulked board. So I decided to check out the other window. Got up on a 24’ ladder and could pull the paint off of that area that was supposedly repaired. So they had to make those repairs but if I had not checked the work out, the job they were paid to do was not done. Kerry got really mad at me when he came for the payment. He was angry and scary to me. So if you hire this company, be sure to have an iron clad bid with all work listed in detail, check all work done carefully. I felt scammed by their performance and lack of doing the job right the first time. I think they should do the job they quoted and not make you check it and and make them do it correctly. I would never work with this company again.- Donnie B.

ABlue Springs Siding & WindowsGreat people, great service, great workmanship. It couldn’t have been easier to decide on this company for my siding, windows and gutters. (They built a sunroom for me 2 years ago - it’s fabulous too!) Their products are high quality - they know their product, they know what is best suited for your home. No high pressure sales. I felt very comfortable with my decision right away. No second thoughts at all. Their work crew - wow! All were so friendly, hard working, and clearly experienced. I was amazed at how quickly they tore out the old and installed the new. What a show of teamwork! I can already tell a difference with the new windows. Not only are they beautiful, but they aren’t hot to the touch when the sun shines in like my old ones. Will help with the utility bills. And I’m not hearing as much outdoor noise as I did before - bonus! In just one week my home looks brand new. Blue Springs Siding and Windows has made me proud of my home. DUnfortunately I had a bad experience with Dean. We agreed on a master bathroom remodel that was to include a new shower, shower door,, granite sinks, and faucets. There was one mishap after another which included installing a shower that I did not want and ordering a shower door I didn't ask for. After the sinks were installed the original faucets were left there despite the agreement that new faucets be placed. My front door knob was broken and I wasn't informed. I found the damage when I returned home. Dean offered to repair the knob but was unable to install it. After the incorrect shower was installed we discussed a plan to install a shower I wanted. Of course this came with a new estimate. When I asked for an itemized estimate Dean requested payment for the sinks and faucets and said he'd email an estimate that was itemized. He hasn't sent the estimate. So now my master bathroom is still in the demo stage. The sinks and faucets are complete and nice but the plan was for a remodeled bathroom. The sinks are the only reason a D was given instead of an F. The shower isn't complete and I can't shower. And the wall paint was scrapped off during the demo and the vanity mirrors were removed during the job and not replaced. My bathroom is a mess and now I have to find another contractor to complete the work. This has been really stressful. I'm assuming he bailed because he made costly mistakes that affected his profits. The lack of professionalism and poor communication has resulted in a home owner's worse nightmare.

AWe have had quite a bit of things done in our yards over the years and I must say this company is far ahead of some we have used. The quality is exceptional but something you may not consider is communication. That is every bit as important as the work. We definitely recommend All Weather Decks out of Gardner, KS. By the way we had three different crews - one for concrete work, one for paver/stone work and one for the pergola. All equally as good. The project supervisor was excellent as well.

ACreative Concepts and Design replaced our 32 year old wood deck with Tamko composite and Westbury aluminum railing. They did an excellent job. Caleb did the estimate. Brent was the supervisor, and Jim, Reed, Mitchel was the most excellent crew. I had many questions for Caleb and Brent. They were extremely patient and followed up on everything for me. I got 3 estimates, and they were $1000 less than the next lowest, so they are very reasonable. The crew took their time and overcame any surprise problems along the way. The deck and lighting is gorgeous. Very happy with the result!

Cthis was the second time I have had windows and doors done by this company. The first salesman and crew were excellent. But our second interaction was horrible from start to finish. The salesman was pushy and didn’t answer questions very well; most of the time, he would answer the question with the question. I just stopped asking him anything. But the worst part was Aaron, the install manager; he was rude and condescending. He has no business dealing with people. They were supposed to install on 11-23-2020, but he started his workers chose not to come into work because it was cold and might rain. So 15 minutes after our scheduled install time, he called us to tell us this. It never rained, and had Aaron done his job and shown up, and the job could've been completed.

ASo thankful to find this company. We had a lot of struggles with various contractors in finishing our large basement remodeling project. We found this company and I am so thankful. They came in and finished the project in a timely manner with great skill. We plan to use them on our bathroom remodeling projects. We met 3 of the men that work for this company, all the kind of people that you can feel comfortable having around your children and in your home (I am picky about that!). Furthermore, they bring a ton of experience so they are capable of bidding a project and finishing on time and on budget without surprises! I appreciated how I could truly hand off the project and not have to watch over their shoulders. Truly a top notch company.

AIf you choose Mountain Construction for your remodel of any size on your home you will not be disappointed by the slightest! Everything from Glenn's crew showing up on time daily to cleaning up end of work day was consistent. From the electricians, painters, plumbers, tile setter, to counter top company was nothing short of professional. Glenn and Rob (carpenter) checked in at least twice a day would inform you what was happening daily and what your job was weekly to go pick out (the exciting part for any home owner) Seeing changes daily was always happening and so fun! I'm a stay at home mom (my husband works quite a bit being away from the home) and I always felt so comfortable with everyone in and out of my house, there was never any awkwardness.

AI was pleased with the work. The owner, Curt Coglizer, was good to work with. Cole was the man in charge of the work and he was also good to work with. Luis painted the outside of our house and did an outstanding job. The Pella windows are good quality. The siding and wood rot repairs were also very well done. Overall, Homeworks did a very professional job. We signed a contract in May of 2018. Because Homeworks was very busy, they were not able to start on our house until April of 2019. The work was completed in June of 2019.
