AAbsolute Masonry & FoundationJim and his team came out to take care of a growing crack and small footing/structural issue on our entryway. Though it was generally tough to get anyone to show up, they came out, bid and began work within 2 weeks of first contact which was appreciated. While working on our house they also completed some extra repairs on a cracked archway for our front door, more repointing on the face of the house and the chimney and I hired them to help put on our chimney caps - a project I had been told a half dozen times "couldn't be done" because of the style of our flue or contractors would disappear on me. They spent the time to do their best to match the mortar color to our historic home's mortar color. No mix is going to be a 100% match because of various factors (including age), but of the two times we've had masons out to do repairs their initial mortar mixing was pretty spot on in color and texture. Our most problematic area ended up cracking slightly again after repairs, but Jim had one of his guys back out to repoint the area again. This time with a slightly different color, but without extra charge. Overall Jim's team did an excellent job, addressed any concerns I had and made sure the job was done properly to preserve the historic nature of our home as best as possible.- Jesse F.

AAbsolute Masonry & FoundationGreat work; did a thorough job of repairing front porch red brick steps/stoop that were literally falling apart in pieces. The crew cleaned old mortar from existing bricks and reused all that were salvageable. Did not rush the job, and left the area clean afterwards. Owner stayed in communication throughout the project, immediately notified me when there would be a delay due to circumstances beyond his control (weather, staff out sick). Price bid for project was reasonable, certainly worth the quality of work done. Would certainly hire again and refer to others.- Monica B.

They had to replace broken stones, the chimney crown and cap. They also sealed the entire chimney to ensure there will be no water leaks. AWe had let our backyard go, and it was full of tall weeds. They came in and cleared out all the weeds, and put down new mulch to prevent future weeds. They also added mulch to our front yard areas. The gave a quote and performed the work just as we expected. I asked for a few more areas to be mulched after they left, and they gladly came back and touched up those areas for me. Very professional.

AThe mortar on my house had deteriorated significantly and animals had used that as an entry point to my house. Lorenzo and his team re-did the mortar on the front of my house on some stone work. I no longer have squirrels getting into the attic and the front entry way looks better than new. I am definitely going to use Lorenzo to finish other areas of my house.

Seth climbed and removed a large dead limb from a difficult-to-get-to big maple tree, trimmed the remaining dead wood from other parts of the tree, and removed dead wood from a large oak in the front yard. The results were excellent. He and his helper arrived on time, did excellent work, cleaned up all debris, and left no trace that they had been there. These guys are the best!

AGreat. The bidding agent was very thorough and patient with my questions. The bid was roughly the same as a second bid. On time and responsive. They worked well getting a great installations and left it clean, even taking buckets of clay dirt with them. Courteous and approachable. The sump pump had a battery backup which was included--the deciding factor.
