Vinny Romine and his partner Denny were great! They did kitchen restoration after a huge water loss caused by faulty plumbing. Painted then installed upper and lower cabinets as well as new floor. Excellent work and they were a joy to work with. Highly recommended, would definitely hire them again.

I can't say enough nice things about SuperDave. He returned my call immediately, looked over my projects, and returned an estimate within 24 hours. He scheduled my work within a week, and finished in two days. Everything was done beautifully. Dave, Charlie, and Chris are charming and hard-working. They arrive on time and get right to work. Even though they found some repairs to be more complicated than originally thought, Dave stuck to his original estimate, and did not skimp on the parts or labor. SuperDave and his team may not be the cheapest, but they are the best. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a perfectionist, Paul Clark is your man.  He came the day after I called and emailed a quote next day.  Quote was thousands of dollars less than other providers had quoted.  He arrived exactly when he said he would, worked all day for three days, protected my floors, played with my dog, cleaned up every night and did an outstanding job.  Everything turned out much better than I expected.  Thank you Angie's List, I never would have found him without your service and the other reviews.

The installer was very professional and polite. Explained what the problem was with the tub and installed the disposal in a timely manner and explain that I would need to get an electrical installed so as to run the disposal. I would surly use this company in the future if the need arises.

Professional form start to finish! Mr. Andy Bozdech left no stone  unturned. We met Andy and the designer to discuss what we wanted in our home. We wanted a home that was inviting and peaceful! As soon as you enter the front door you enter a nice open wide hallway which invites you into a spacious family room. Beautiful modern gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, large windows and breathe taking "Character Hickory Natural" flooring. Open design breakfast room and spacious kitchen. Three bedrooms and two full bathes with custom tile, custom designed vanities, mirrors and light fixtures made by me the owner. Andy and I worked closely on this home as, I was a contractor in "Soulard". Ron, his lead carpenter is, one of the best I have ever witnessed. He once said to me: " I am not building a house, it is going to be a home"
So, I would without hesitation wholly endorse and recommend Bozdech Custom Homes,LLC

It eventually turned out alright. I paid $6,000. It started out at $5,000 and there were some additional costs; I knew there would be because I wanted some other work done beyond the description of the work they originally gave me. The job was done as well as could be expected, but there were some glitches. Do I blame them for the glitches? Probably. When I hire a contractor I expect them to take care of everything. There were some things they were unfamiliar with in this area and some things that were unresolved when they got done, but it all got worked out in the end. They did a good job, but there were some issues getting that done. I left town during the time they were working and there were some things that happened while I was out of town that I had absolutely no control over. But I would not have left town if I had known better. There were some things they should have known about that they did not know about, such as they did not know they needed to get a work permit from the City of Hazlewood. That caused them a day or so getting that all squared up. I was out of town being told because they didn't have the permits. Eventually the bathroom was functional, but it was not what I had hoped. I told them up front the timing would be essential because we were going to be out of town. I only dealt with Tom, and did not work with any of the other guys.

Wonderful! I checked out a few companies in the area and Absolute was by far the friendliest and most helpful. At first they didn't have a remnant that really worked for what I wanted but I knew they were the company I wanted to use so I held out. When my husband and I first came in on a Friday afternoon the owner, Sander, was the only one there and looked like he was on his way out, without hesitation he put his things down to walk us through the remnants, even after I offered to come back another time. He couldn't have been nicer. A few weeks later I emailed him to see if I could see if they had anything new, he referred me to Lisa, who met me within the hour. She was wonderfully friendly and helpful and did not rush me at all as I picked through the pieces. After a final visit we made our selection, and Lisa gave us some advice to help us get the dates we wanted for the template and install. Scheduling was equally as friendly and everyone seemed to be trying to get me exactly what I wanted. I wasn't sure the treatment I would get from anyplace with such a small project, and I didn't really expect to be treated as if I was doing an entire Kitchen, but everyone at Absolute treated our project as if it was their top priority!

Our project was quite extensive due to major leak between shower walls of both upstairs bathrooms. The contractors had to take the large bathroom down to the studs including demolition of existing tile and large marble tub. They also had to work around our travel schedule as we were visiting our children for quite a while out of state. They were extremely polite, considerate and diligent. They always cleaned up after their day was over as best they could. The ending result was absolutely beautiful. Laurie at Henry Plumbing was great to work with. We would always consider them first when and if another need arises.

Before the project started, they gave me a rough estimate of 6 weeks. I understood that there could be unforeseeable issues with these project, and figured anything around 8 weeks would be acceptable to me. Well, it took them over three months to be completely done with my kitchen remodel project, during which they were only present in our house about half of the time. The PM told me it was a busy summer and they had trouble scheduling the subcontractors, but if that was indeed the case, I think the proper thing to do would be to postpone the start date of the project instead of go ahead and tear down the kitchen and then take their time to finish it. It was VERY frustrating to have the kitchen unusable for over three months.
Regarding their work quality, overall it was ok, but they are not very attentive to the details and I had to thoroughly check everything myself. I did find lots of problems which I had to point out to them to get fixed. I think the PM should have been more diligent in checking qualities and noticing the problems, instead of waiting for me to check and point out the issues. Couple examples of the problems I found during the project:
    - The floor tile around one of the vent was originally cut horribly. They were probably hoping that the vent will cover the bad cut so they went ahead and grouted it in. It turned out the cover wont hide it, so they had to replace the tile. Since then they could never get the new grout around that tile to match.
    - There were some obvious spots where the painters missed. They also forgot to paint the final coat on some smaller areas (leaving obvious brush marks). The PM did a quality check on the work, did not notice these issues and called the painting done, and I had to point these out to him.
    - They installed a new light switch without paying attention to the other existing light switches. It was at a different height than the others. After the whole project was called completed we suddenly noticed this problem. It took one day for the PM to come to take a look and another day to get the contractors back to come fix it.
They did try to fix everything I pointed out, which is good. But not paying attention to details and then fixing upon my request made an already slow project even slower. Also they were unable to fix the color mismatch of the grout which was caused by their mistake now I would forever have a dirty look grout area in my new kitchen unless I redo all the grout.
Other examples of their lack of attention to details include:
    - Some contractor probably washed some tools he used to put down the grout and didnt bother to rinse the sink, leaving heavy
stains in my brand new sink, and I had to scrub hard for couple hours to get the stains off.
    - I had a pretty light grout color, and they didnt seem to make any effort to try to keep it clean. Dirty spots started to appear before they even finished the project and I had a chance to seal it, and I wasnt able to completely clean them up.
    - They also left some grout stains on the tile and didnt clean that up. After many rounds of scrubbing (with Magic Eraser even), there are still visible grout stains on my tiles.
The bottom line is, they do an ok job, but it could take a long time, and you could end up with a few issues that they are unable to fix. Their quotes are pretty detailed which I really liked. They make mistakes but they do try to fix them once you point out. However for me, as they are not a cheap contractor I had expected higher quality of work and a more reasonable timeline.
I really wish they did a good job since finding contractor is such an exhausting process and I have a lot more projects to do. However I came to realize that I cant rely on Andersons Building Co for my future projects. I will not be able to hire them again nor will I be able to recommend them to my relatives and friends.

I couldn't be more pleased with the work SuperDave and Charlie did. Dave came and looked at the jobs I had and explained what he could do and what he was not comfortable doing. I never felt he was trying to get me to commit to more than I needed. He immediately gave me an estimate, which he stuck to, even though he performed additional tasks (cleaned drains in the kitchen sink, bathtub, and shower) and added accessories (switchplates, lightbulbs, toilet seat). Dave and Charlie were always on time and worked quickly, cleaning up before leaving at the end of the day. The results? The bath and shower look new and the bathrooms are cleaner than they have ever been!  The kitchen plumbing was corrected to stop leaks and the dishwasher was secured under the counter. On top of all this, Dave and Charlie were a joy to work with. They were both friendly, were good to my crazy mutt (Dave even walked him a couple of times), and shared Dave's delicious, home-grown tomatoes. I will definitely call them again -- after all, those pristine bathrooms are making the rest of the house look shabby!
