Plumber reviews in Harrisonville

They are an awesome group. They all are very, very strong. Kevin himself, who is a master plumber, he comes out to the job. He has a couple of people that does estimates. When they were doing the work on the septic, he popped in and made sure everybody was okay and doing what they were doing. I was happy.

I would absolutely use them again. I have their number in my phone.

We first contacted John on July 11th because our bathtub had sprung a huge leak and he said he would be at our house on July 14th. By midday, I was starting to wonder so I asked when I should expect him: he said he was running behind and would come out the next day at 10 AM. At 10:30, I texted to ask where he washe had overslept. He came and gave us a quote of $2000 to do all of the plumbing. On July 20, I sent him the list of what the insurance company would need to proceed; he said he would complete it and send it back the same day. Eight days later, I had to ask if he had completed it as the insurance company was asking for it. Hed been too busy. A week later, we still had no paperwork and no start date. I asked him if he had the time to take on this project. On August 8th, I let him know that the new bathtub and fixtures would be arriving on Friday; he said he would block off Wednesday and Thursday of the next week. I reminded him that I still needed the insurance stuff; coming out would be useless without that paperwork. On August 22nd, we were expecting him but he did not show. He then said he would come on Saturday, August 26th. He never showed up. At this point, we realized that we would have to find someone else. We contacted R-Mech of Kansas City and they had someone out here within two days. We suspect that he did not want to do the insurance paperwork because he is NOT a licensed plumber. We would have understood that if he had been honest with us. Instead, he chose to string us along for six weeks. Although his work is good, we will never use him again because business ethics matter.

Shawn of R-Mech showed up on time; he listened to what I wanted and where I was going with my property. He made some additional suggestions, took a ton of measurements, and gave a quote. He was neither the highest nor the lowest. To be honest, what pushed it over the edge was the fact that he was the only one that bothered to cover his shoes when he came in. The other three guys giving me estimates tromped all up and down my carpeted halls with their muddy boots without a thought...absolutely no respect at all. R-mech did the job quickly, cleanly, and then came back to calibrate it a few days later. The propane guy said he wished all of the installers followed code as close as R-Mech and that they were a dream to finish for. I love the equipment installed: it is super energy efficient and quiet.

I chose someone else based on the following: 1. There are no reviews of his work on the internet. 2. He is not a member of the BBB. This, to me, is a minimum for anyone in business. Other business affiliations are good. 3. His website does not work. The link takes you to a GoDaddy site for sale. 4. I did not get his estimate back in a timely manner. 5. He apparently does not have an email account as there isn't one on his business card... fax, but no email...this indicates to me that he does not have someone technologically savvy running his office. This has often been a red flag for me as far as future billing and warranty issues.

Epic plumbing came out to locate a leak under the sink of our kitchen.  He came when we were available and quickly found the leak and fixed it.  Very pleasant to deal with an honest plumber.

.All the times they came out here to my property to service my 5 air units and heat pumps plus 1 propane heater the NEVER even LOOKED AT any of the heat pumps OR the propane heater.  They were out quite a few times in the Fall but they NEVER looked at any of the heating units.  I called them and this time asked them to look at the propane heater in my metal building and that is when I found out that the service people from Sehorn had NEVER looked at it.  I am irate with them over this PLUS their charges for everything is very high.  I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them.

From start to finish this project was everything that you want when working with a company. Jeremy came out to bid the job. He walked me through the process allowing as many questions and interruptions as I could throw at him. As my wife and I looked around and compared what was going to be done as well as warranties and reviews we decided to go with KC Master.  Once decided the fun began.  Our house offered many unique challenges along the way. From old foundation repairs and cisterns sitting in the way  to finding bedrock shallower than we thought.  Through all of this any and all of my questions where heard, answered and taken into consideration.  The thing that I appreciated most about the prework process is that I always felt like KC Master was working with my best interest in mind.  As previously mentioned we had many obsticals which meant possibility for many change orders. We  scheduled KC Master but due to heat they had a mandatory shutdown for a couple of days because some of the crew members went down with heat related issues. Again through this they were very good at communicating when and why things were happening the way they were and promptly got us rescheduled.Once the job started Ryan and his crew were great.  They were willing to answer questions, explain what was going on, as well as give some suggestions. Each day they made sure the area was clean and tools were not laying all over. At the end of the project they back filled everything, graded, and for the most part (other than the freshly stirred dirt) made it look like they had not been there. Other than the wall being straight of course. Overall they did a great job.
On a side note I do want to add that in the grades given above, had the price said value of service for the money spent I would have given an A.  There warranty and tie back system is hard to beat and knowing that they have many engineers who, can and do, look at the job gave me much confidence in the work that was being done. The B that I gave reflects that they are higher compared to others out there but are worth it so far that I can tell.
I will keep this updated once we get (if we ever get) some rain enough to test the new system.
    Thank you KC Master Companies

The job went very well.  We worked for the most part with Jimmy, who demolishioned the old bathroom, jackhammered the floor and layed new drain pipes, replaced our water heaters, and rough plumbed our new bathroom.  He's very thorough, professional, punctual, and kind.  Once the tiling job was completed in the new bath (different service provider, recommended by Jimmy- also a good call:tiling job is perfect!) there was initially a concern on our part that the toilet drain may have been placed too close to the back wall; however, the owner Kevin came right over (after hours) and put our minds at ease.  New toilet, sink and fixtures were installed by Kevin's brother- a mild tank leak was discovered the following day and quickly fixed.  We appreciate the professionalism of all their employees we came in contact with - from the kind secretary, who always answered  the phone with a cheerful greeting & immediately recalled our name/recent services to all the men who worked on this long project for us.  Thank you!

Nothing about his work is good.  He came with his helper who really can't do anything.  He didn't show up on time and didn't have what he needed to do the job that was described to him in detail the day before on the phone.  He left the job with his helper basically just standing around, ON THE CLOCK of course.  He had to make two runs to the suppliers to get what he needed which was simply a new toilet seal and a shut off valve.  He kept my wife tied up for hours, about 4 hours, to watch his helper.  When we got the bill, we were billed for him and his helper and for all the time running for parts and materials, and for all the time that they were doing nothing.  DON'T USE THIS TAG TEAM UNLESS YOU WANT TO HAVE A VERY UNPLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

We liked that they were very punctual and also kept their word as far as when they would be here. They were very specific and they called to check to make sure that we would be here. We just worked with them well.
