  • Could not get in to see Dr. Anne Riordan for 60 days so I had to see the assistant. My first appointment was to include an annual checkup with the advise of a staph infection. When I arrived my appointment had not included the annual checkup and I was RUSHED through my appointment as they tried to manage their time frame. 2nd issue is when I called the office to leave a message to have the Assistant to return my call about questions I had about the infection, I never received a call back and after 2 days I called again. I also made an appointment for my husband and when I decided to check and see if he was scheduled to meet with Dermatologist Anne Riordan MD, there wasn't a record of his appointment. I made that appointment in the office. If I had not checked on the appointment my husband would have shown up for an appointment made 60 days ahead of time and there would have been no record of his appointment and the time taken off from work would have been a consequence and again unable to schedule time with the Dermatologist would have to be another 1.5 month or more. This office is very poorly administered and it cost me money and time due to their errors. I would not recommend you go to this dermatologist due to the practice having too many clients and not able to professionally serve the clients they have.

  • It was a nightmare. At my second treatment, I noted an itching sensation in the area of the cortisone injection. It was shrugged off by the nurse and Dr. Riordan, citing it was not a reaction to the cortisone. A month later, the itching sensation turned into a raging infection. I called the dr's office and was told the best they could do was see me in two days. Dr. R prescribed me an antibiotic and hydrocortisone gel to ward off the infection that set in. About 5 days later, the infection grew into a trobbing "second head" on the back of my shoulder. Again I called the dr's office and was told they couldn't get me in for 2 days. Worried that the infection would invade my body (already a red line was developing at my neck and the shoulder becoming painful to move), I described the appearance and feeling of the infected area as best I could. Still I was denied an appointment for 2 days. I showed the infected area to a nurse friend who was alarmed at the entire situation. She instructed me to INSIST on seeing the dr. by going directly to the office and not leave until the dr. saw me. An hour and a half later, I was met by Dr. R who told me I had to go to the ER for treament as she could not treat the problem in her office any longer. What's more, I did not get a follow-up call or ANY contact from Dr. R's office following my ER visit. As it wound up, I learned I had a serious staph infection which took me a solid month to recover.

  • Dr. Anne Riordan is wonderful. I've been a worrywart about this growth for several months - thought it to be a cancerous mole and was really stressed out waiting for my appointment. One close look from the doctor and I was told she was 99.9% sure it was non cancerous! I could have it removed by cryosurgery, curettage, or electrosurgery since it was bothering me - itchy and bra rubbing on it. I choose curettage and she did it right in the office; another appointment not necessary. She sent it to the lab for testing. Since I was a new patient it took longer than usual for my scheduled appointment - paperwork, etc. Once I got into the doctor's office it went fast. The office is clean and neat and organized. The office staff is friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. I also inquired about Restylane ($500 per injection) and spider veins ($250 per session).
