AAarow BuildingJake and his crew were great! His estimate of the cost to take the wall down (which opened the area up wonderfully!) and do all necessary work was right on. The crew arrived on time the first day of work and completed all demo within a few hours' time. Because of drywall installation, Henry returned each morning for the next 3-4 days to touch up the mudding and smooth the finish as it dried and to spray on the popcorn ceiling where the cabinets had been. That was perfect-you can't tell at all that something was there. On the last day, one of the crew returned to paint the wall where one cabinet had been removed and installed the cabinets in the garage for me. They did an excellent job; everyone was very professional and friendly. I've already gotten an estimate to replace windows in my sunroom later this summer.- Joyce P.

The staff and subcontractors were all professional and personable, everyone liked their job and had personal pride and integrity. Jake is knowledgeable in all aspects of contracting, including minute details of each step. His artistic vision was extremely helpful and definitely added to the finished product. I have an older custom home with unusual construction of every kind. This was NEVER a problem. Each unforeseen issue was seen as an opportunity to improve the home. The irrigation issues were immense, but they were transformed into a beautifully landscaped yard with immaculate masonry. Jake stayed in constant communication, there were never any negative surprises or delays. We came in very close to budget, amazing since the actual work was more than I expected. Aarow's bid was a little higher than others, but well worth the differenc in real value. The highest quality products were used, it never felt like Aarow was skimping on anything. Quite the contrary, Jake, Henry and staff strived to do the most for the least cost, as if it was their own house.- Thomas G.

AJUDE MARKWAY CONSTRUCTION COHe was fabulous. Mr. Jude Markway is one of the nicest men that I have ever met. All of his subcontractors are excellent. He started the work in August and the frame structure went up really quick. His sons work for him and both are extremely conscientious and great carpenters. They clean up after themselves. The subcontractors have been working on the drywall and the painting. The work is not done yet but it will be done in a week. It's been awfully raining here for 6 weeks. They work anyway. They do some of the work. The drywall people and the painters finished painting the main room. The sun porch and every other job have been going on marvelously. The drywall people, electricians and the painters are all the subcontractors for Jude Markway. I had heard of him and seen his trucks. He does not have an office but he works from his house. His wife is his accountant. His sons are his workers. My son works for superior exteriors and he mentioned Jude. Jude came over and started out with a drawing. He then got the estimates for me and told me what the structure frame would cost. I had started to get other bids but after meeting him I stopped. He has an excellent reputation locally. He is extremely well respected in this area. I swear he is the most wonderful man and all of his subcontractors are just as nice as he is.- Rachel G.

AAarow BuildingWe are very pleased with the sunroom door and with the work Aarow performed. Their recommendations for the replacement door were right on target--it is exactly what we wanted. Work was performed in a timely fashion. The installer was very easy to work with and considerate. The modifications we requested and a slight repair (scratch) were completed immediately and perfectly. I especially like that the owner (Jake) inspected the work and discussed it with me before presenting the bill.- Carolyn R.

ARandolph Development (D&D Cabinetry) were perhaps the best part of our entire new home construction. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. We have enjoyed every moment of our involvement with this company...so much so, that we have added a few more jobs to their work list! CI was very disappointed in the work they did on our house. They are a reputable company who I used several years ago for a new roof and they did a great job. But things must be changing, because the crew they sent to do the siding project was awful. It sucks to be the homeowner who has to vet crews that the company newly subcontracts. I'm upset that the project manager wasn't around more often to catch the shoddy work they were doing. Precision, to their credit, did agree to redo all the window wraps and some of the sloppy siding work. The company offered no apology or offered no pricing adjustment. If you go with this company, get information on the experience of the crew they are sending to your home.

BI was flexible with timing as Michael had other projects already scheduled that he was working on, so he came to my house when he was available. I had a problem with the window installed in the bathroom downstairs, but it was not with the work. A drainage problem in the backyard was causing an issue. Only complaint I have is that I called him, or attempted to, for some additional work, and he never returned my calls.
