This groomer cut or tore my labradoodle's ears. The vet confirmed the injuries were not hematomas and were caused by grooming tools. When we brought this to the owner's attention he pulled out a waiver signed when we dropped our dog off. He said the dog was "severely matted". Not matted enough for the groomer to mention when we picked the dog up but matted enough to dodge a $130.00 vet bill. The owner refused to contact the vet to hear what they had to say because he had the waiver. He is using his waiver as a sword, not a shield and my dog is the one doing the bleeding. We won't take our dog back and you should not risk taking your dog here.

The price was worth it.  I have two female great danes and one cavalier.  We were happy with their service.  I was really pleased.  We will not have them do it again if they fell short.

We thought they were reasonable.   What I did was, I called that day and they said they had an opening so I took them in and then we talked about how we were getting his hair trimmed because they had bad haircuts before with the puppy.  It was not necessarily the groomers fault but what happened was he chewed on his hair and we had to cut off a lot of hair to fix that.  So when I went there I asked the name of the lady who did the hair cut and I wrote her name down so I want her to do it again.  That?s how pleased we were.  I have always had great danes and they have short hair and you don?t have to cut it.  This is our first experience with a small dog and I have not taken her to other place besides here.

.I have 2 Dachshunds that I take to Rub A Dub approximately every 6-8 weeks. Have been living in Fenton since 2006. Everyone there is Professional and are always so sweet to my dogs. Whenever I say "You want to go to Rub A Dub?", they are by the garage door tails wagging. Can't say enough about how wonderful my dogs look every time I pick them up. When I need them to be picked up at a certain time, it's usually no problem

I've used this provider in the past with no problems. This time was very different. Had a family emergency and needed boarding for 3 healers. Scheduled grooming as well... Staff was very rude during entire process - from check in to check out. I had an agreed / verbally quoted price prior to dropping the dogs off, including grooming. When I returned 2 days later the dogs hadn't been groomed yet, and I was told I couldn't see them. I was presented a bill for over $500. Argument ensued with staff, and I waited on-site until my dogs were brought out and groomed. The grooming was terrible. The whole experience was terrible. Never going back.

Samantha was fantastic!. Our dog was nervous as this was her first contact with a groomer. She assured her, calmed her and was able to bathe and clip her. She turned out fantastic and we will use them again.  5 STARS!!

I previously submitted a very long positive detail of the services rendered at FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER. I'm hoping that the previous posting to ANGIE's list was published as I had expected it would be. I am being requested by ANGIES LIST to and quot;completeand quot; my posting but when I clicked on that prompt, I am now prompted to start it from the beginning.
Not sure why ANGIES LIST is doing this.
If it weren't for the fact that I have such a positive opinion of FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER, I wouldn't be taking the time... A SECOND TIME..... to publish my commentary.
I have been taking my dogs to FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER for over 25 yrs. Some dogs have had health issues which required specialized treatment during the grooming process. Two of my dogs, over the years, have required special scheduling to get them in/out in a hurry.
Michelle Clinton is the owner/operator of this business with other hired groomers working there also. There has never been a time when one of my animals came home with a nick or cut.... and that's not because my dogs hold still any better or longer than any other dog.
Michelle is an outstanding groomer and animal handler -- and she hires professional groomers who are excellent as well. They are all good at their work, careful in the process, and they have the animal's well-being in mind.
There has been more than one occasion when Michelle pointed out to me a health concern she had regarding one of my dogs -- something I was unaware of but then addressed with my vet.
Over the years, I have referred and recommended many friends, family members, neighbors etc. to FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER. In each and every case, they became return customers -- having experienced the same good service that I had always experienced there.
Michelle Clinton runs a clean and safe operation with good, modern equipment. It's a busy establishment and that always speaks volumes to me -- they OBVIOUSLY have a lot of happy customers that KEEP them busy.
Even in these difficult economic times, FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER has remained a busy operation with a loyal customer base.

    Playful Pups
I had my dog spend the night here, and they also gave her a bath and cut. My dog seemed happy but the facility may seem poorly run. It is in an empty bank, and they have converted it into a kennel. They dont have much grass around the building.

I have been taking my dogs to FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER for over 25 years. First my Poodle-mix, then my Golden Retrievers, Golden-mix, and lately my Maltese and Beagle have all been groomed by Michelle and her team. Michelle has been the owner/operator for all the years I've been taking my dogs there. Never once were my dogs cut, nicked or hurt in any way during the grooming process. In every instance, the grooming is beautifully done and any specific instructions I've given were carefully followed (for length of hair or certain trimming preferences around face, etc.) The operation is friendly as well as professional. Her equipment and space is kept clean. Her grooming activity is openly visible to customers so it's easy to see that the animals are treated well. Michelle and her staff are responsive to both a customer's and animal's special needs. I have a 3-legged Maltese who needs special care while being groomed and his needs have always been met with kindness and consideration. Michelle's FENTON TOWNE CLIPPER is an A+ in every way.

I used Rub A Dub for several years and only switched because of moving out of the Fenton area.  They are very good with my dogs.  I had an old dog with severe arthritis but needed monthly baths/grooming and they were so good and kind to her.  My younger dog came from a rescue and is not the most well socialized dog - they were very good with her too.

    Happy Pets Grooming Spa
Sienna is incredible and she always does a nice job. It is more than just a nice job actually. There is the utmost of professionalism in her work but she is warm as well. She will get you in right away. The Golden Doodle doesn?t have to be caged because Sienna has a large dog that walks around, and both dogs hang out and play together. The poodle however, stays in the cage because she is afraid. The people that work there are very sweet, and you can feel that they love animals and are caring. The price is probably less than what anybody else around here charges. Elsewhere, my large one would have probably cost me $60 plus, but since Sienna has had them since they were puppies she just never raised her price. I think she does that with a lot of her very loyal customers. Sienna gave them Christmas presents as well. She knows them well enough to know that the big one likes squeaky toys and the small one likes to curl up with a blanket somewhere, and that?s what she gave them.
