    Wet 1 Tile
Excellent work! Very thorough and quick clean up of old stuff. Replaced new drywall with new insulation and taped on the same day as clean up, then two more days to mud and paint. Job was completed in the estimated time, 3 days. Very pleased and will definitely hire Wet 1 Tile again.

    Nations Drywall Repair
Nations Drywall Repair did an excellent job repairing three water damaged areas on my vaulted kitchen ceiling. Not only does the drywall repair looks great, but the plastic dust containment area that they put up before they did the work left my house spotless with zero drywall dust left behind. Great job Nations Drywall Repair.

    Finely Finished Handyman
I called several places for bids and they were the ones that could start the job the soonest, one week rather than 1 or 2 months. Tim did a great job, I just put primer on the ceiling and everything is smooth. He kept in constant contact while the work was being done and made sure I was happy with how things were going. The price was on the lower end of bids I received and I got exactly what I asked for.

    AA-ECO Contracting LLC
Nowhere near on time, was quoted 2 weeks and took 5 weeks before it was "finished". Then there were issues with leaky sink, door sticking, shower leaking and electrical issues. Leaky sink, door and electrical issues were all fixed finally after 3 visits and over a year. Shower leaking was never fixed - finally had to hire a plumber to fix it and now have to fix hole in ceiling. There was also an issue with a mirror installed which never was fixed and Donnie will not answer or return calls, voicemails or text messages. Unprofessional is an understatement. I've never seen anyone with a lack of respect or pride in their work like this. I feel like slapping whoever recommended this guy to my wife - obviously a mistake. When it was "done" it looked great but the underlying quality just wasn't there.

    Beaty Home Improvements
Lots of things were not in my favor. Owner was responsive, but weather hampered the work. Rain! Time went way over and actual time was 11 hours. I was charged $50 per hour for the overage, plus some materials. I paid for 7 hours overage. The ceiling looks good and the worker swept the waste materials off the patio, which I appreciate. However, if I were to work with this company again, which I would consider, I would be very careful about the quote for the job. Owner was very professional and kept me up to date. I did get the ceiling painted, which was not originally in my plan, but I needed to get it done. This caused time overage also. Just not comfortable with the way this all rolled out, especially the $50 rate.

    Anchor Roof Repair/EZ HOME IMPROVEMENTS
This was the nicest father and son team!  Not only did they do an excellent job, but they were so pleasant and respectful to each other.  It was a pleasure to have them in my home.

    Anchor Roof Repair/EZ HOME IMPROVEMENTS
I'm perfectly annoyed by that. The guy came over and it was a repair in our bathroom. The job was 3 hours. There were 3 of them that arrived and they bid on a bunch of other stuff. It took them under an hour to do the repair then it was drywall so then to come back and finish the job it was going to be $85 for a home visit. To me that is appalling that you know that it is going to be a 2 part thing but you want more money to come back especially when it's a 3 hour job and you only spent 45 minutes on it. I felt that it was a bait and switch because it was not 3 hours worth of work. I will not hire him again.

    Norse Construction, LLC
Overall, it went great! The project was a smashing success!
Bruce Jovaag, of Norse Construction, is a pleasure to work with. He is very personable, and he is FANTASTIC at communicating with us. Over the course of the project, we probably exchanged about 400(!) emails and texts. Bruce was ALWAYS quick to respond and easy to reach.
We are very happy with the quality of Bruce's work. As with any project of this scale, there were snafus along the way, but Bruce took them all in stride. If something wasn't right, we simply let Bruce know, and he took care of it. In the end, we were thoroughly satisfied!
Bruce really knows what he's doing. I would advise any other Angie's List members to trust him and his process. We opted to hire a third-party painter on our own in an effort to keep our costs down, but managing the painter and coordinating his work with Bruce's workers ended up being more of a hassle than it was worth. Bruce has got his system down to a science; follow his advice, and you'll be happy with your decision.

Erin was very responsive to our changing schedule as some of the other repair work we had done took longer than anticipated. The painters were very quick to give quotes on the additional work we wanted done (trim work, closets, etc.) The house looks great and the painting (ceilings, walls, trim, closets) for our 2200 sq foot house was done in 1 week.

    The St. Louis Plastering Company
Trent and his team did an amazing job removing the popcorn ceilings from our new house. Trent was priced very competitively and went out of his way to find a new tool to more economically remove the popcorn throughout the house. He was very responsive to our requests and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend Trent to anyone needing drywall repair or popcorn ceiling removal.
