AGA CHOTT & ASSOCIATES INCConsidering the kitchen renovation took place during the winter, the holidays and COVID, the overall experience went pretty smoothly and was completed on time. The workers showed up on time if not early, cleaned up after themselves, and most importantly listened to what I wanted. Kurt was very responsive and came out the day I called him to sign a contract and answer any additional questions. Justin was also professional during the install and everything looks great. They worked with my idea and my budget, went above and beyond for little extras that made the project perfect, and picked up a small extra job since they happened to be working on trim anyway. ABirkenmeier & Sons IncWe hired Birkenmeir and Sons to install a sliding French door into a three seasons room, and we are thrilled with the results. Al and Bobby had to create an opening from the living room and cut through an exterior brick wall to create the space needed to install the door. They were extremely neat, made sure to clean up as they went, and communicated what they would be doing each day. The most impressive part was their attention to detail. They were able to match the trim in the interior as well as matching the trim and bricks on the exterior. The door looks like it has always been a part of the house. I would highly recommend Birkenmier and Sons for any remodeling jobs and will absolutely be using them again for future projects.- Nathan S.

ABirkenmeier & Sons IncI have a 3 seasons porch that was getting mold on the inside. In addition, the base boards were bulging out. I called Al Birkenmeier and Sons to determine what needed to be done and for a quote. Al recommended we demo the porch and rebuild it due to moisture getting in and causing rot. Once the demo began, I realized how correct he was and was surprised to see how rotted the wood was. The project included the demo and rebuild. In addition, we replaced the outside door, outside light, and on my request replaced the ceiling fan and the inside window that looked out onto the porch. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. The rebuild looks so much better than the original porch. I am so pleased with it. I had no idea who to call for this job and am so happy with my decision to contract with Al. I highly recommend him.- Jan T.

ANu-View Replacement Windows & DoorsMr. Manser was great person with which to work. He came to the house to estimate the job and detailed every step of the procedures. I talked to 2 other companies before him and gave him a deposit immediately. He called when the windows arrived and scheduled installation for the following week. Fi signed the contract November 16 to have 12 windows replaced; one of which was broken. (since another one was broken). I was told it would be about 12 weeks due to the Covid-19 problem. Today is Feb 26. It has been 15 weeks and still no windows. I am told the installation is scheduled for March 9. I have been told the windows arrived at Window World 3 weeks ago. I have called the company many times explaining the broken and leaking window. Receptionist told me that they understand and that my file is on their desk. As soon as the windows arrived they would schedule an install as soon as possible. Three four weeks later is ridicules. I feel that once I paid the required deposit I ceased to be a customer and became simply a number on the list. I do not believe they have been honest with me with time frame. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!!!

AThey did a great job. Not an expert on pricing but based on other quotes they were lower, but I was much more worried about the install quality, timeliness, etc. They absolutely delivered and started and finished when they said they would. I am very pleased with everything.

AI have used Frank Jackson before, and was once again pleased with the work done. I needed the interior of my condo painted, as I was anxious to place my home on the market. There are many vaulted ceilings and a lot of woodwork. Although my condo is only about 1600 square feet, I thought thought the job seemed very challenging. Frank came by and quoted a price of about $5000.00 ( including paint of course.) As I was in a hurry, he had a crew of 3 workers start the following Monday. They worked 6 days total, and the result was just beautiful. All walls were a light grey with white woodwork. They finished painting July 30, 2018. I was able to put condo on market August 6,2018. It sold August 7 for $7000 over asking price. Maybe I would have had the same result without the outstanding paint job, but I seriously doubt it. The condo I am moving to will need some work. I already know who I will be calling for that work--Jackson Custom Homes.

He inspects everything, including proper ventilation prior to installation & again inspects the work in progress to ensure we have a roof that lasts. We were very impressed with his crew. AThe job was promised by the very attentive owner Doug Kropp in 1-2 weeks. He had a crew leader Paul who kept everyone on track and on time. Even though labor day holiday fell in the 2 week period, he had a worker here. All the work was custom and looks as if it was part of the existing now 19 year old home. I highly recommend this team of excellent professionals.

AI brought Brett four severely water damaged thermofoil kitchen cabinet doors, after having spent countless hours on the phone, online and in person trying to find someone who would take this job on. No one would! They were discontinued by the manufacturer. Finally I brought them to Modern Kitchens hoping to maybe purchase doors at least similar to the originals and they suggested I try St. Louis Restoration. I did, and Brett agreed to take it on! I really didn't have much hope because the doors were so severely damaged, but I figured anything would be an improvement. I could not believe my eyes when I saw them completed!! The doors could not be restored , so they rebuilt them! The paint match was as close to perfect as you could get! They are so well built and sealed, I will never have the water damage problem with them again! I could not be happier with the work as well as the price!!!!
