Marian has done a great job for me over the years. He is very helpful and resourceful. He always plans well and finds the right materials and the right way to do it at first try. He has done a lot of big and small projects for me over the years in two houses and always has done an excellent job. I can recommend him for any project.

Initially things went very well. There is a sales person there named Christian who was knowledgeable and immediately identified the color and style of countertop that met my taste, a beautiful marble stone that he said would be perfect for my bathroom. I was sold on the spot when he explained that they would take care of installing it and the sink and faucet and that after the install everything would be beautiful. We are not doing a major renovation and did not have anyone else who could do the install as part of this project. Unfortunately after I agreed to use them, things went very wrong. They sent a young guy out to measure the top, and he did not account for the fact that the marble I was purchasing is thicker than the top that was being replaced. He did not properly measure the sides of the counter either and how the new top would fit on it. I know this because after the top was installed there was a huge gapping hole between the new vanity top and the counter. The drywall was jagged, as if the installer ( a different young guy) tore the top off without trying to preserve the counter. Oddly, he planned to leave it this way, despite my being told this was essentially a one stop shop where they would handle the install and plumbing and that they would leave my bathroom looking beautiful. It looked horrible. I'll attach photos that show what they did if possible. I actually had to say to him - you aren't going to leave it his way are you? And he said yes. I had such a good experience with the sale I thought that this was just a mistake that could be fixed, so I reached out and asked Graniterra for help. I learned that it would take a painter or carpenter no more than two hours to fix this for a total of $120 dollars. Mind you I spent $2000+ on this counter top and backsplash and it looked horrible. After offering Graniterra a couple of solutions, including paying the full amount and allowing them to pay someone directly to address the gaping hole they left, they basically told me that the hole was there when they got there (not true) and that I was on my own because this was a carpentry issue not related to their mis-measuring. This DESPITE the fact that they agreed that the counter i bought is two inches thicker than the counter they replaced, and they did not account for that when they measured to ensure there would be no gap. I won't even get into the delays in trying to resolve this issue because they had to meet with the owner before agreeing to reduce s $2000+ bill by $120 to account for their mistake. I plan to lay the entire amount due rather than suing in small claims court because, who had he time to deal with this? But I don't want any AL member to experience the frustration I've had with this company. Choose another provider - Graniterra does not care about customer service.

    Kwik Dry Carpet Cleaning

Great!  I spoke to the owner on Thursday and was a little desperate because I was having company Friday evening.  He worked me in at 8am Friday morning.   The 2 guys showed up when they said they would, got to work quickly, were very nice and professional and after it dried, the carpet looked wonderful.  All the spots were gone.  I was especially concerned about a large spot that was from butter.  I had tried to spot remove it several times with no success, but after the Kwik Dry team was done, it looked as good as new.

I also asked and received a bid for granite cleaning and polishing.  This was at my request; they didn't bring it up or pressure me in any way.  I was wanted to have an idea of what it would cost and plan to eventually get it done.

I was extremely pleased that they were able to remove my old countertops without damaging the tile I had on the backsplash. I had designed the room around the tile so that was important to me. The new granite countertops were put in and fit beautifully after they shimmed it up to meet my tile. The only advice I would offer would be to WAIT until you have your sink, faucet, disposal and any other appliance that you need for your kitchen BEFORE you have them take off the old countertop.  It takes about 1 1/2 weeks for them to fabricate the granite after your countertop is removed and measurements taken but they can't begin until they have your sink. The sink I picked out ended up being backordered and took a month to come in and so I was without a kitchen for that length of time. This wasn't Graniterra's fault but it is a good thing to get all the parts and pieces in place before they remove your countertop. I would highly recommend Graniterra and I plan to use them again when I remodel my master bath.

I have had the pleasure of working with Graniterra on five projects over the last eight years.  I first used them to install granite kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, fireplaces and a breakfront for my dining room during the renovation of my previous home in 2006.  The owner, Alex Elzein, and his team did such an incredible job for me that I called on him again in 2009 when we built our new home.
Graniterra again exceeded my expectations with their work in my new home.  They installed granite kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, an onyx fireplace, and travertine floors on the main level.  In 2010, I brought Graniterra back in to redo the office kitchen and three bathrooms with granite countertops and all-wood cabinets.  In 2012, Graniterra finished my lower level with all cabinetry, knobs, and granite, including a 28-foot granite bar, kitchen area, two bathrooms, and a theatre room.
I was so pleased with Graniterra's exceptional work in my new home that I am presently using them to install granite in my son's kitchen.
For each of these projects, the order of services provided was as follows:  I selected the granite/onyx/travertine for each project.  The team at Graniterra drew up designs for the layout of the cabinets and countertops.  I went to the shop to pick out the color and design of the cabinets for Graniterra to order.  Graniterra installed the cabinets and did a cardboard template for the countertops and fabricated and installed them.
For each project, Graniterra provided the highest quality products on the market, superb workmanship, and outstanding customer service.  They earned my repeat business every step of the way.  I highly recommend Graniterra for your next home project.

    K & D Countertops Inc
They were very easy to work with. They did try to put me off a little bit, change the date a little bit and that was a little difficult at times but we finally got them to commit to a day and stop changing it. When they did get here they did a great job. They did make a mistake on the fireplace, they mis-measured it and they had to come back and fix it and they did. Overall, I would say they were easy to work with and speak with.

Absolute did the leg work to help us find the marble tiles that we wanted.  They presented us with multiple samples.  The came by our house and surveyed the area where the floor was to be installed.  They had some good recommendations on how we could accomplish a very solid installation.  They began on schedule and came to our home daily until the job was complete.  This is not the first time we have used Absolute Tile and it won't be the last.

Mike came to give an estimate, and was very professional and thorough. About a week and a half later, Jeff and Tyler came to work their magic! They transformed our master bath into virtually a new room! We were told to wait a week before using our shower, which for us is not an issue because we have others. I will mention that I had a slight issue with the floor grout and they came immediately out to make it right. I am VERY happy with the finished result! I feel like I have a new master bath! I'm finding that I now am looking around the house to see what else I can have Marblelife do!

    Global Granite & Marble
Global Granite and Marble's were helpful and good but you can't buy direct from them, you need to have a fabricator. They have a good showroom with a lot of ideas for you to looks at. Their pricing was in-line with any place I went to.

The basement kitchenette was being rebuilt and we needed new countertops for the new cabinets being installed.  We contacted costco and they in turn referred us to Solid Surface Resources (SSR).  They emailed us a quote based on the general contractor's sketch of the cabinet placements.  The quote included pricing for four grades of granites as well as other man made materials.  The contract is written in very clear terms with pricing options with sufficient descriptions.  The SSR representative (Reba Green) met me at the granite showroom/wholesaler.  Based on my description of the kitchenette she suggested some stones.  She never attempted to steer towards more expensive stones.  The same can be said for the edging choices.  Within a week, a foamboard template of the granite was made by SSR.  The young man who did the templating, placed the joint locations not only based on aesthetics but also so that it can be taken to basement through a narrow doorway.   I met with Reba and the proprietor at their facility to finalize the layout on the previously chosen stone so that the grain flow are maintained to our preference.  This was a great opportunity to let us visualize how the actual stone will look like in the kitchen and make changes as necessary.  Approximately a week after, the countertop, backsplash and a base for a pass through window were installed by two men from SSR.  It took them a few hours for the entire installation process.  The machining details of the finished product exceeded our expectation as was the installation.  This was an outstanding operation from start to finish.
