    Woodard Cleaning & Restoration Services
Repair went well. Workers showed up on time, were very conscientious of our lifestyle, isolated the work area to contain dust and left area clean. Completed project looks better than before damage occurred. Painted surfaces matched adjacent areas. Work was completed within the estimated time frame. It was evident they had done this type of work before - very professional with no wasted effort.

    Beaty Home Improvements
Pre-assessment Joshua came to our house (on time as promised), and after assessing the requirements, said would cost $1500. I then mentioned that I was an Angie's list member and there was a coupon for 10% off. The contract I received later was higher in price, so after 10%, still came to $1500. This didn't feel fair to me since I didn't change any requirements, but I let it go. Secondly, Joshua's estimate was 20% higher than several others, but he promised better quality, so I agreed. The Work Framing of walls was excellent. The taping and creating a level 4 finish (to match rest of home) was a big challenge. Joshua had to come back twice to work on the walls and even then I had to pay my painter extra money to fix defects. Joshua was not able to produce a finish that matched the rest of our home even though multiple attempts were made (which we appreciated, but results are what counts)...tape lines are still visible at multiple locations. So, positives: punctuality and framing expertise...negatives: pricing and dry wall finishing. Post Work After this job, we asked if Joshua could frame a half wall for us in the kitchen which is a half day project at most per other estimates we received. He indicated he would charge a full day for labor at $440 but only work for the 2-3 hours needed on the half wall. I indicated we have a number of things to get done in the house since we are paying for a full day. He indicated we would be required to pay for a full day even though the job would take less than a half day...and getting other items done within the 1 day period would not be permitted. They don't have any type of policy that requires a full day payment for only a few hours. Back to the pricing policy, there doesn't seem to be a rationale for the figure provided as we noticed on the first job.

    Patrick Interior Finish LLC
Great, thanks Patrick. All work and cleanup was completed on schedule. One of the main reasons that I picked Patrick as opposed to remodeling companies is that he only does drywall. Also he came back about 4 times and put on very thin successive layers of drywall joint compound instead of others who wanted to put the compound on all at once. I believe that multiple layers of joint compound that dry before the next application must be used to get an invisible joint.

    Dan Weber General Construction LLC
Both rooms look amazing. We are very pleased with their work. The projects were: 1) Completed on time 2) Completed on budget 3) Exceeded expectations with craftsmanship. We will definitely work with Dan and his team in the future.

    Fitzgibbons Painting
Fitzgibbons Painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house.  It looks noticeably better from the street.  The vinyl shutter color had faded and weathered a lot but now looks just like new.  Every aspect of the job was handled with quality and in professional manner.  They were easy to work with and did what we asked.  The job took about three days from start to finish. Fitzgibbons let us know up front that it would take about 8 weeks to start the job after paying the initial deposit.  The actual start was about 8-1/2 weeks later.  I appreciate knowing this upfront before agreeing to a job.

    Affordable Trim & Moulding
George is a true professional and loves his craft.  He gave me a very rough estimate of the cost to do one room over the phone (which was so helpful.  I'd seen pictures of what I wanted online and in design magazines, but had no idea how much something like that cost and did not want to waste my time - or his - getting an in-home estimate if I couldnt afford the work).  Anyway, he gave a rough estimate over the phone, and met me at the house to confirm the work.  He had a vacation planned at the time the work was scheduled, but arranged to have Steve install the trim while he was away.  Steve was prompt and did a fantastic job.  My house looks like it belongs in a magazine thanks to Affordable Trim.  I'll upload pictures once the painting is complete.  I could not be happier with this provider!

    Kimberlin Construction Co Inc
I called Kimberlin Construction. I had various projects that needed to be done around the house. I got a fair quote, professional service and many jobs well done. Follow up on minor problems was prompt. Kimberlin can do about any job you want, they will do it at a fair price and they will do it properly.

He arrived on time and got right to work. I am very please with the door. He was very neat and cleanup after himself. I will be using him again to install baseboard in the powder room. I have used Mr. Riehlman for several small jobs and have always been very pleased.

    Dave's Handyman Svc
Dave worked ~3 1/2 days and it was $50 per hour. We are very happy with everything he did, and will be asking him to come back soon to install a mailbox. It was quite a wide variety of a list and other handymen were not comfortable fixing the tile in the kitchen. Highly recommend him for everything!! He is very skilled at everything!

When we had our basement flooded due to a pipe burst, they were recommended by the water damage restoration company. Right from the start, with a simple, straight forward contract, they were very direct in their dealings with us. Several subcontractors were hired with short notice. It included a moving and storage company to take away and evaluate all the basement furniture, electronic restoration company to address all the stereo, computer, and TVs.

Once, the extent of the damage was determined, insurance company rep was brought in to concur with the project cost and responsibilities. Anderson Building Company dealings with the insurance company on our behalf was outstanding. ABC uses the same software as most insurance companies. Their estimates are very accurate and detailed. The cost for additional work performed to update the house was quite reasonable.

Several subcontractors were employed, but were under regular oversight by ABC personnel. They even found a company to restore solid brass railings. Except for occasional input from the homeowner, almost all of the communications were with the project manager, Seth Meyer. ABC workers and staff are all very professional and punctual.

The project management and communication are truly exceptional. They pay attention the customer requests, the cost limits, and offer suggestions as needed. ABC went above and beyond their contracted work by pointing out potential leak path in the skylights and had the original installer correct the installation. The professionalism, resourcefulness, and customer care of the Anderson Building Company sets them apart.
