Lester and Doug were amazing to work with. They were on time, professional, and affordable. Lester - who goes by Jonesy is a master at making furniture fit in the truck! More than anything, he is honest. I knew exactly what I was going to be paying for ahead of time, and his contract is reasonable and straight forward. We moved our things from an apartment into a storage unit while we wait to close on our new home - I will definitely be hiring Happy Hour again soon to move us in to our new house. Highly recommend!

HORRIBLE! Did not move all of our belongings because they said could not fit in a 26 foot truck. Left behind crucial medical equipment after being told numerous times that these 2-15 foot tracks for overhead patient transfer MUST be moved. THEY DID NOT! Broke the controller for our adjustable bed and never reimbursed us for the repairs. Also left part of a desk and other small items that had truck been loaded properly would fit and should have fit as there was ample room in the truck when everything else was loaded. Those few items minus the tracks fit into a small SUV. We were told if we wanted the tracks they would have to send another truck (26) and charge us a duplicate of what we already paid. The tracks were only 4 inches wide and 15 ft long. This is how this company treats a disabled veteran and a his disabled wife! This was totally unacceptable and very cruel. To treat people this way no matter who or what the situation is, very heartless and unprofessional. DO NOT USE TWO MEN AND A TRUCK OUT OF COLUMBIA, MISSOURI.

The absolute worst. Left crucial medical equipment off truck when they were told at very beginning that 2-15ft overhead rails for trapeze have to go on truck. They also said they were not able to fit everything on truck but it fit in a small SUV. Obvious poor packing on their part. Broke controller for a power adjustable bed. When spoke to the business owner he agreed to pay for controller but never did and told me he could send a truck to get rest of belongings but would be the same price for a full truck load.

Handyman Haulers did a great job loading a U-haul for us. They were on time, very professional, polite and very respectful of our furniture. They did a great job at fitting as much furniture into one u-haul as possible, which I appreciated. Can definitely tell these guys have been in the moving business for awhile.

Devon and Jacob were amazing!  They were so fast and so nice.  They were actually everything you could want in movers (friendly, available, prompt, neat in appearance, cheerful, strong, careful, fast-working, smart, honest, generous, reasonably-priced . . .)  They were very careful with our things and didn't ding anything.  They organized things in the garage very neatly and put cardboard between different pieces of furniture.  They were thoughtful with leaving a wide path through the garage for us to get through, covering the piano and china cabinet to protect them from workers' tools, offering to cut pieces of carpet for our feet while watching TV on the cement floor. . .  Even though it was 5:30 Friday evening when our new-carpet-laying was completed, they came over quickly to bring everything back in and put it in place.  They even hooked up our satellite dish before leaving.  They were very generous to us in calculating their time, not charging for nearly as much as they could.  They saved us a lot of money.  We would have been charged about 3 times as much by our carpet company for what they did.   We couldn't recommend them more highly.

Worst job ever. Horrible company and ignorant owner. We called in July to get back on the schedule after paying $200 and he just kept pushing us to the end of the week then to next week then the end of that week and so on.

Contacted Devon by phone and set up time for first move. Devon and Jerome checked in the night before the move to confirm the time, were on time, brought all necessary equipment necessary to keep from damaging any of my furniture and goods (blankets, dollies, tiedowns, etc.) and cleared out the storage unit in a brief time. They asked where I wanted everything placed in my house and were careful not to damage anything. I had a second storage unit that needed to to emptied and they were able to clear it out the following week, and were as professional and fast as they had been the first time. Total for both moves was under $350.00. Good, solid, courteous, highly professional movers. Highly recommended.

What a horrific experience! Upon them delivering my belongings to my new home I was very disappointed to find so, so many things broken or damaged. Much of my furniture is antique and / or family heirlooms which are unable to be repaired or replaced. After trying to contact owner Rodney Gaines several times, I finally received a call from his "moving manager", Marvis. Marvis finally agreed to come look at the items. Marvis scheduled an appointment at 12 p.m. on a Sunday to look at all of the damaged items. At 1:30pm I attempted to reach Marvis to inquire about his no-show as I had set my day aside to meet with him. Finally, just after 10:00 p.m. that evening Marvis called to inform me that he didn't show up to the appointment because he hadn't had a day off in quite some time and just wanted to go fishing! Although he did show up three evenings later, it's been over a month sand still nothing has been resolved. I have asked for assistance from them with this matter, including trying to reach the owner Rodney Gaines and he refuses to return my calls. My last call to this company was last June 23rd and finally today, June 29th Marvis returned my call, yet know resolution. They continue to push a furniture repair person of their choice, however, I am not confident that this will be an acceptable solution / provider to repair the quality of furniture that I own. Do yourself a favor and find another company to move your belongings. It'll be well worth your money and your stress level!

This company provided great service from the call to schedule to the completed move!! My floor installer wanted to move up my installation 2 weeks due to a customer cancellation. I called Two Men And a Truck on Friday to inquire if they could do the move on the next day, Saturday. They could meet that scheduled, indicating the charge would be slightly higher due to being a weekend. For me the slightly higher cost was no problem, just very happy to get the move going. The inquired about each item that needed moved and where it would be moved to. In a few minutes they came back with an estimated cost of $133 to $150 and would arrive at my home between 8AM to 8:30AM.
Dakota and Bryan arrived at 8AM! They introduced themselves and questioned me about each item to be moved and the final location. They installed padding on the door frame and moved each item through my front door to the garage. During the moving process they were very careful to protect my furniture and home. They very carefully cleaned there boots each time they entered my home. They were polite, courteous and very professional. They completed the mover at 8:50 AM and charged $131.
I'm completely satisfied with their service and will most certainly have them return to move the furniture back in after floor installation!

The move from Houston to Columbia, Missouri went off as planned. To save us a trip to Texas, we had a friend open the house for them and instruct as to which items were to be moved.  They arrived at the pickup location and loaded on schedule, delivered on schedule.  Nothing was damaged and items were covered with blankets to protect unloading in the rain.  They were cheerful, personable, helpful and they insisted on moving a very heavy old piece of furniture we wished to get rid of and needed moving from the basement to the garage.  That was not part of their contract and we thought it very nice and helpful they went the extra mile like that for us.    Daniel, Mikey and Jeffrey get our seal of approval for Movers Direct!
