I am so glad I found Evan Tannenbaum. He is super easy to deal with, he is as honest as the day is long, and he does a SUPER! Job. Wish there were more contractors like him.

Oustanding. We would never use anyone else for our landscaping and hardscaping needs. Evan and Tamera listen and communicate with us, which is lacking in many businesses today. We still have more to go, but thankfully all we have to do is call them ... and it's done. They take pride in what they do, and they do it well.

Began scope of work on February 11, 2016. Step 1. Removed old porch (18?6? x 5?0?) which was falling away from the sides of house and had broken corners due to the fill settling over the years. Discovered 18" - 24" gaps underneath when removed and only one piece of re-bar held the porch in place to the house at one interior corner. Step 2. Excavated hardscape area and removed designated old landscape plants. Step 3. Created new hardscape patio (18?6?x16?0?) plus steps to three different access points. Added entry stoop to front door to prevent potential falls as requested. Created steps for accessing play area in the yard for our grandchildren to enjoy. Created steps with downcast lighting to access front sidewalk. Added a 12-stone permanent bench. Used landscape blocks, 1" rock base, sand base, tumbled stone pavers, and finished with two applications of polymeric joint sand. Used landscape glue in places where it is appropriate to help hold material together. Step 4. Removed old stone steps to driveway and healed in living plants for transplanting later. Step 5. Excavated and created 12 steps with low voltage lighting for stairway to driveway. Construction materials included Red Cedar treated pine timbers, black ground cloth, sand base, flagstones and rainbow rock fill. Step 6. Relocated living plants. Added new fill dirt and removed all construction debris from site. Seeded and strawed fill areas. Scope of work completed on February 26, 2016. Jerry Santoyo
He is like a winner. I am expecting him to come out any day to do some landscaping work for me. I would use his services multiple times in this summer. I am lucky to have him as my landscaper. If he wasn’t good, then I wouldn’t have recommended him. He is a very fine person. He is very responsible and eager to please. He did something that nobody else would have asked for. He built a patio for my deer. There is a deer that travels from woods to woods and I started feeding it with some critters but it was making a mess on the grass. So I asked them that I wanted something solid and asked them to build a patio for those deer which is just about 10 feet from my kitchen window. It was across my actual patio. It was built very well like a patio for a house. I was amazed when I saw what they did and it’s lovely. He had never done that before but he surely knew what to do. He also knows how to solve any problem. He does a beautiful job. His prices are higher than the rest of the other people but he is better. He is faster since he really knows how to get the work done. So he is worth it and I would definitely use his services again. He did a bunch of different things for me. I have had him out three times for three different things in this summer. The deer patio was $655 which is a lot of money but it is beautiful. He went out and picked up some cement and stones and added a pattern as well as the color. It was worth it and it was more than I intended to spend.

Frank was referred to me by a neighbor/contractor.  He came out to look over the job within 24 hours.  His quote for labor was quite reasonable, but after he found out how much I was paying for the materials, he took care to move the purchase req into his name so as to receive more discount.  All in all, the total project (for materials and labor) ended up costing me the same as the materials only portion - since I had measured incorrectly and would have purchased much more than I needed.   He and his crew were very aware that my young children were watching and listening to everything..they were very professional in that regard.  Everyone who comes to visit now remarks as to the beautiful stone retaining wall, we call it our island, in the middle of our driveway.  Very nice job and very happy customer indeed!!!

    Talbot & Sons Construction
They did a good job for us. They were nice and courteous. They did it in a timely fashion too. When we do the driveway we will go back to get another bid. They gave us the low bid on this project. It took a couple weeks to get out here, but we understood that they had other jobs. They completed our project in three days. They seem to really know what they are doing. They seemed to know all about the concrete and their work. They did have a lot of crew and one member is quite elderly. They got it done and did a really good job though. I would suggest people get a bid from them and other places.

Extremely smoothly.  There was a great deal of hand work involved, and the final result was excellent.  I especially liked how collaborative they were, providing suggestions and also listening to our ideas.

Evan is an incredibly hard worker. He brought on a designer, since we were starting from scratch: trying to rehabilitate a landscape devastated by drought and neglect. Great experience. The wall, in particular, together with the natural stone steps are beautiful. He was willing to adjust the designer's plan to suit our budget.
