    Dr. Hinkebein is young, exceptionally well trained, and a through professional. She is skilled and personable. Her services have been of high quality. I see her on a regular schedule and am completely satisfied with her work. The work I have done is completely covered by Mediare, so I don't know the cost.

    I had been a patient for many years until today. 3 days ago I was called by the office while driving there w/my daughter for an appt& told that my daughters account had a balance of more than $600.00 going back to 2015. Even w/out my EOB's & bank statements I knew that just didn't sound right, as I haven't received a bill in quite some time & I always pay my balances w/ them in full at time of service. I was literally just there w/ my daughter a couple of weeks ago & told I didn't owe anything at the conclusion of her appt, & the claim for that date is still being processed w/ my insurance company. No prior balance was mentioned at that service, & nothing was mentioned when I made that appt for my daughter, or when I subsequently made my appt for today.Their desk sign says payment is due at time of service, so the idea that a balance would roll for multiple years, through multiple subsequent services, never going to collections & never been collected for at time of a service, not to mention I have made many payments at appts during the intervening time, it is ludicrous to think a balance from 2015 would still be outstanding. My daughter & I both go in regularly, so for this balance to have been outstanding for more than 3 years, something had to be wrong. When I asked for details, the individual on the phone said that they didn't have that info, & that the office manager was working remotely that day. She said that she would call her & I could talk to her when we arrived for my daughters appt. When we arrived they kept my daughter in the waiting area for over 30 minutes while they called the office manager, who refused to talk to me, & I was told she has small kids & couldnt access her records. When I asked whether they would still see my daughter, they did, but told her there was nothing wrong w/ the tooth that has been causing her pain & sent her back out to the waiting room. They continued to ask me for payment, but refused to provide me w/ EOB's & I at that time had no access to my bank statements or insurance info that would give me some indication of where they were arriving at this figure from back in 2015-present. From what they had offered, a generic print out that showed service dates, balance, & finance charges, I knew some of the info was inaccurate. They agreed to waive the finance charges & let me check my records, so we left. The next day (yesterday) they called & said that they put copies of my insurance EOB's in the mail, & that once I had a chance to review them we could reconvene next Monday- I still have the voicemail. Today I go in for my appt, still never having received the info from them, therefore having had no opportunity to look at my insurance info or bank statements, & was again held n the waiting area until the new office manager, who is the Dr.'s wife, came up to talk to me about my bill. She started by acknowledging the message she left yesterday, & that she knew I hadn't had a chance to receive the items in the mail, but that she had printed them off for us to talk about then. All she had were some of the insurance EOB's, & when advised her that those are estimates & not final bills, & that I had never received a bill from them for an outstanding balance, & in fact made multiple payments & been in for multiple appts since that time, I was told that she shouldn't have to call me or say anything to me because I am the patient & it is my responsibility to pay for their services & they only process the insurance as a courtesy. I mentioned that I was there over my lunch period for my appt, & I hadn't had the chance to look at any of my records, & asked if they were still going to honor my appt, & she said they wanted to be paid first. I said I had never seen a bill from them & she said that she has called me multiple times & left messages & sent bills. I asked for the dates that she called & left messages & she fumbled around at her computer for a minute & said two dates. W/ her standing there looking I check my cell phone for those dates for calls & voicemails & there were none. I asked her if she could print off the statements that they claimed to have mailed, she said that she could "print every one of them" & I said good I would like to see them, then she fumbled w/ her computer more & said "you know what I can't print it", I asked if she could email it to me & she said she the software would not allow her to email it, I asked if she could take a screen shot of the letter that was mailed & print that, & she said she couldn't actually see the letter, but that the software just had a note a letter was mailed that day, I asked where they mailed it to & she said she couldn't tell me, she could just see my current address- which she verified was accurate. When I reiterated that I have never received a bill, she had no real evidence of one ever having sent me one, & that I have made multiple payments which I was told were in full for the accts at those times, I was asked to leave.

    We LOVE Bright Start Academy (the East location in Columbia on Bearfield). My son started there at 10 weeks old (11/2014) and he is now 3 years old as of 9/2017. We toured several facilities before we settled on Bright Start, but we were won over by several factors: big outdoor play areas and plenty of toys, cleanliness in general, and the security features. Now that our son is preschool age, we have many other options, but we're still driving out of our way to go to Bright Start! I love the low turnover of students. It's a big center, but the kids are grouped by age and he's been in classes with the same children since they were tiny babies together. I feel like they've grown up as siblings. We know all of these kids and we love them. My son can't wait to get to school and play with his friends each day. Staff turnover is low as well. Each classroom has full-time teachers, not just a rotating door of college-age part-timers (which was my assumption before we started there). Sometimes it can take me 10 minutes to drop my son off in the morning if he goes to say hello and hug his teachers! They all remember his name and they remember my name too! I really appreciate center-based care. There are many staff members on site to provide backup in case a teacher is ill or has an emergency, and these issues never interfere with the care provided for my son. I never have to worry that our center will be closed unexpectedly. And the professionalism of the staff is top-notch. I am welcome to drop by anytime during the day, and each classroom has a two-way mirror so that if I arrive early, I can peek in and see my son interacting with his teacher and classmates without being distracted by me. I really like this! And Bright Start uses an app called Brightwheel to stay in touch with parents during the day. The teachers send pictures of the kids doing all kinds of activities and having fun together. Even grandparents can sign up for the app and get the pictures, too. I love Bright Start Academy, and I know my son is getting good care there.

    Almost none of the transplanted hairs survived.  The procedure was a waste of money.   During the procedure the staff gossiped with each other about their personal concerns or other staff members.   I subsequently had a transplant at Bosley in KC and there was a huge difference.  They were more professional, there were several steps in the procedure and post procedure care that Samuels office did not include.   Most of my transplanted hair done in KC have survived.

    My experience with In Vision Eye Care center was a long story. I went for an eye examination on July, 2015. Dr Radkowiec did the examination and gave me a prescription for a new pair of glasses. Well, this pair of glasses did not work, because it did not seem the focus was right.  Dr Radkowiec re-examined my eyes and concluded the prescription was correct, and the problem may be related to the frame. Two weeks later, Dr Heather (the owner of this eye care center) and her manager told me that I can choose another frame that suits me better and they will re-order my glasses for free. This time my glasses worked greatly. I appreciate their service very much. The first time I did not know how to choose a frame that is best for me. Thankfully they offered me another chance to choose a better one.

    The deep cleaning went well. Natasha was very very patient and did her job very well. She applied enough dose of anesthetic and the whole process was generally smooth. After the deep cleaning, I followed her advice on daily teeth cleaning, my gum never bleed again when I brush my teeth. Last week I went there for another regular cleaning, Jenifer did her job very well too.
    The price for the deep cleaning was in a reasonable range. After the insurance coverage, what I paid out of pocket was a little over $250. The whole bill, though, a little over $1000, was a little expensive than a quote (about $800) from a dentist in Lafayette, Indiana, which I got in January, 2014.

    This is the best dental service I have ever experienced. The office is comfortable and the staff are friendly. They go out of their way to make you feel like a real person. The hygenists and the dentists communicated very well through every step in my visits. They are also comfortable treating patients who have dental phobias.

    Everything went great. They were able to fit me in on short notice.  The waiting room was nice and the staff friendly and helpful.  The doctor and assistant were able to visualize the problem and come up with some possible solutions to fix it.  After trying to save the tooth, it needed to be removed.  I never felt any pain during the whole procedure.  After the tooth was removed to assistant sat with me for a few minutes to discuss after care.  The dentist then came back and we discussed long term solutions and how to move forward.  Everyone was very friendly and easy going.  I will be back to this provider in the future for my basic care.

    I was referred by a friend. I'm having some bill issues. I went in basically to get an evaluation and to establish dental care. It's like they don't communicate there. I may have to possibly get a couple of implants. At first, the dentist there told me I couldn't get implants and then the next time I went in to consult he said well, I might be able to do a couple of implants. I said, but you just told me that you couldn't. Oh well, um. Very wishy-washy. Basically, just wanting to do dental work I think to get the money.
    I was going to have to get a temporary partial until my permanent partial came in. I said I would like something like a bridge, something that's permanent. I can't do a bridge. I said, okay. So, he said, but you will have a partial you can wear until your other partial is ready. They didn't disclose to me that the other partial was going to be 2 weeks at the cost of like $300 and some dollars. And then, I couldn't even eat with it, I had to take it out. What is the point of getting a temporary partial if I can't eat with it? Oh, well, yeah, you will have to take it out, you can't eat with it. I said, you did not tell me this the last time. I just told them I was done and I pretty much just got up and walked out.
    They are pretty flexible, they got me in quick. It's just that once they get you in there their service is pbbbt.

    He is a very trusted doctor. He  spends a lot of time with you and he knows my medical history from way back. I had a bypass a few years ago and it went well. He also does my feet do the diabetes.
