    Columbia Appliance
The sales staff were helpful & knowledgable. The installers did a fantastac job installing the new applicances, even found an extra piece of stainless steel trim for the oven since the new oven was not as high as the old wall opening. They definitely went above and beyond my expectations including a thorough job of cleaning after the installation.

    MICHAEL BUTTERWORTH
Very friendly, helpful, experienced. I will continue to use him for my piano tuning. He is also going to fix a problem I'm having with it and is putting a plan together for that. I had gone to his website, sent an email requesting a tuning, he was very prompt with getting back with me and scheduling the appointment. All the reviews I have read about him are good.

    TERWELP UPHOLSTERY
Terwelp did an excellent job. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. They job was done in a very timely manner. The upholstery was completed beautifully within 2 weeks of our selecting the fabric. They saved us money by letting us know we did not need to replace the cushions, only the support webbing. They informed us up front that they do not do wood work but that they could take the job to Finishing Touch in Columbia, MO. Finishing Touch did a superior job of repairing our chair without having all of the original pieces. We paid them separately for this work.

    COLUMBIA SHOWCASE KITCHENS
I can't speak enough to how great and easy it was to work with Kristin. She asked good questions (like goals and budget) and then did an awesome job working within those. A few cabinets arrived damaged, and she took care of getting new ones ordered and in place before I even knew that had happened. She also recommended our contractor (Chet Crystal) who has been great as well. Would definitely recommend!

    RIBACK SUPPLY HVAC
They recommended an installer. They predominantly do kitchens and baths. They were recommended to us and they were very helpful. They were very knowledgeable about their products and what we were looking for. They had a good selection. They also had appliances and everything to do with kitchens and bathrooms.

    TERWELP UPHOLSTERY
I bought furniture a long time ago and it was very very sturdy. Some things he's recovered, he makes it like a new piece of furniture. He rebuilds all parts of it and he can even change the style if you want. It is just masterful work, otherwise I wouldn't be using him all these years over and over. He is booked up quite a bit because he is so good. He is not cheap because he is that good and it is worth it. He has all sorts of material, thousands of pages worth. I like very good material, so my couch and chair together will be $3,000. His labor isn't out of line, I just like expensive material. It is worth it in the long run.

    Zane's Piano Service
We just purchased an old spinet piano and it was in desperate need of tuning. Although we searched Angie's List first, we did not see anyone local and so turned to Google. We found Zane's website and after a phone interview, we asked him to come and tune the piano. He arrived on time and inspected the piano. He explained what he was going to do, how he would do it, and also educated me (I'm a guitar guy ... pianos are for people with more fingers or talents than I have) on the basics of piano construction and how tuning pegs are installed and may loosen over time. He let me know there were remedies if he found any, but that we'd cross that bridge only if necessary. His inspection revealed that the felts and hammers were in good shape and then he set about tuning it. In spite of the fact that our 6 year-old grandson peppered him with questions throughout his time there, Zane worked steadily and quickly and engaged the lad with answers he could understand (no mean feat). When Zane was finished, he said that none of the tuning pegs had loosened and that the piano was in good shape. He did point out that there was some rust on a couple strings, but that he wouldn't recommend changing them at this point, since they didn't affect the quality of notes. In other words, Zane not only tuned the piano, but didn't take advantage of us, even though he certainly could have. We have scheduled future regular tuning appointments with Zane and would recommend him to our friends.
