I'm pretty sure this is why water stopped coming into my basement. the sump pump is also dry and there are no leaks. they changed the grade of the slab so water simply goes away from the house. simple, easy, brilliant. best home improvement i've done. there's a long line for this company for good reason. Easy to get ripped off by less reputable folks. These guys are worth the wait.

This job was complicated by the lack of access to this area of heavy machinery and so much of this needed to be done by hand. Overall, the provider did a good job, though we haven't had sufficient rain to know if it is a success.

Issues: The provider  was also suppose to excavate the ground near one part of foundation, which had filled in above the foundation but wasn't as attentive to this (rock was piled above the top of the foundation).  Second, I wasn't told what color rock would be used for this application,  and it was white, which called attention to the trench.  I have since  covered the white rock in the trench with river rock to blend in better; it would have been nice to have been given a choice of the color or type of rock used. Third, while I agreed to allow the downspout to be carried through the same trench that was excavated along the foundation, I  thought that the contracted price would be lowered since this meant that the provider didn't need to dig a second trench.  However, the bill presented was the original contracted price.  I thought that this was a little unfair.

He examined the area of the foundation where the leak occurred. It was a really hot day. He personally dug down to locate a drain pipe that had been covered up by landscaping. He told us he was pretty sure that was the problem and not a cracked foundation wall. Had he been unethical he could have told us it was cracked and proceed to expensive repairs. He was very knowledgeable and professional, as well as pleasant and friendly.

They arrived on time and did a great job and were more than fair in their business practices.  Paul was absolutely a gem.  He would not give up on our issue until we were no longer getting water in the basement!
I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

The representative did not give me much information nor did he go under the house in the crawl space to evaluate the condition and needs. He handed me a pamphlet with some prices and a few words written on it .I was having a yard sale and my help hadn't showed up yet so perhaps he was trying to be quick, but it seemed that he just didn't really want to fool with the job.

They did the work -The next BIG rain and water was running all over the basement floor --just as it did before I had the work done.  I called and they returned to tell me that the work crew installed the drains improperly.  So they had to jack hammer up the cement AGAIN and install a spacer so the water would run into the drain and not across the floor.  Basically they had to do the job twice.  The work crews were nice and hard workers --but I did feel that someone should have known how to properly install drains.  It shouldn't have required a re-do if someone on the crew was knowledgeable.
I also paid for them to dig trenches and lay pipe under my downspouts to move the water away from my house.  Hindsight, I should have done this myself.  I expected them to dig a deeper trench and lay down a bit of gravel or something under the pipe.  Basically they just scratched out a shallow trench and put in a pipe and threw the dirt back on top.  It works, but wasn't a professional job.  But I must add, it was POURING rain outside while they did this and I can understand their hurry to get the task finished.
My one other gripe was that they had to haul the broken concrete and stuff up the basement stairs and out through the kitchen.  they didn't have any tarps or  coverings to protect the floor.  I hauled in some stuff I had and ended up cleaning up muck off the floor and steps after they left.
A final note:  Yes, I would use them again.  I received several bids for this project and they came in well under the bids of several other companies.  I didn't expect a "white glove" type of service and in the end, am happy with the work they did.  They didn't nickle and dime me with their bid like another company--who wanted me to pay a "set up" charge and also pay for insurance if THEY broke something.  I felt the cost was fair and the work they did was ok.  I would have given them top scores if they had done the job right the first time and didn't have to return a second time.

    It's great!
Workers were pleasant, conscientious and polite.  Worked very hard and got the job done in two days (making two separate trips).  I would highly recommend this company to anyone!  Salesman was Marty.  He was very helpful and kind.  We truly enjoyed meeting him.

They jack hammered around the outside wall of bedroom and bathroom downstairs, tore out part of the wall between bathroom and bedroom and took out about 2 feet from the floe up of each affected wall. They laid the drains, and dug the hole for the sump in the closet between the bedroom and bathroom. Unfortunately, at some point concrete dust got into the water drain pipes. This caused drainage problems which I noticed 2 days later after they had repaired the walls and laid new concrete and cleaned up the mess. They were very responsive to my call about the drain and sent out a plumber at their expense to fix the problem. I was very satisfied with their work

Just like they said.  Hand dug 2 areas (couldn't get equipment where it was needed).  Cleaned the outside foundation.  The next day they applied special patches and refilled the holes.  Service went just like I wanted, quickly, efficiently and no surprises.

The process was 80% successful.  The concrete was raised but one area cracked during the process.  I don't know if it was the contractors fault.  Probably not.
After a few years the concrete settled again and I eventually replaced it.
The date of the work being performed is estimated.  I do not recall the actual date.
