FMy dog has NEVER had such a terrible hair cut. EVER. This was the first and last time we will ever be taking our baby to this place. The cut was laughable and literally made family and friends laugh. My only thoughts for her was...it will grow. The biggest problem was that not only did she come out shaved she came out terrified. For a week she was bizarrely skittish, afraid and shook. She has had many other cuts and this has never happened before. Be careful leaving your dog here.

FOnce I got there they took her right in. I filled out paperwork and checked all the boxes for them to perform tests and blood work (if necessary) it said. I specifically told the lady to do whatever they had to for her. Wouldn't it be "necessary" to do tests? They said I could leave her there for the day so they can watch her. When my girlfriend got home from work about 5 hours later she called to check on her. They said that her "eye mat" which is an "eye booger" was stuck in her tooth and that's probably why she was freaking out when I brought her in! For one, she HAS NO teeth. She is very old. Second, she didn't have any eye mats. She gets these eye boogers real bad, all the time. We have medicine and we clean them every few days. She had a small one forming on her right eye but in no way did it affect anything about her. That was obsured!!! Then they tried to tell us they think she just "lost her breath" LOST HER BREATH? REALLY? I'm not an animal expert but that was not it. They said "Well we listened to her heart and it sounds good, and we have watched her all day and she acts just fine" They did no tests, nothing. Just "watched" her. When we came to pick her up, we asked for her records. The lady who helped get the records was snudy. I called another vet and explaned to them what happened to her and they immediately said it sounded like a seizure. To bring her in in the morning and they can run some tests. It might not show anything and if it doesn't they can help set us up with a pet specialist that can do more tests to find out. THAT is how you should be treated. Not the way Twin Pines treated us. I was scared for my dog and they acted like they didn't care. Didn't do anything but "watch" her and since she acted fine she must be fine. She has heart issues anyways, with an enlarged heart. She takes medication for it. Very disappointing.

AScruffy to fluffyWell because it's very convenient since they come to your house and she takes exceptional care of the dog she gets to know the dog and plays with the dog and then she makes him look pretty with a little bow or bandanna flower or something around them.- susan f.

AWhistle Stop Bath Bed & BiscuitJulie @ Whistle Stop is the best. She knows I am a procrastinator and offered to groom our pet on a Sat which she had planned to be closed for her birthday. Julie is rarely closed and in fact is open @ 530am so you can drop your pet off on the way to work. She takes really good care of your pet and does a wonderful job grooming.- Wendy H.

AFANTASTIC FIDO'SGrooming is done very kindly and professionally. The dogs always look and smell wonderfully. They always honor our requests on coat length and style. There are also a variety of spa services available. Daycare is the highlight of our dogs' week. The dogs get to spend a day each week being part of and quot;the packand quot;. They play under the supervision of the attendants, and splash in the little swimming pools provided when weather permits. They really are treated wonderfully, as evidenced by how eager they are to get inside once we've arrived in the parking lot each week. We also enjoy looking at the pictures of them playing that are posted on the company's Facebook page each day. The boarding services are clean, comfortable, and convenient. The prices are quite reasonable as well.- Stacie S.

ACarol's Pet SalonSarah is an excellent groomer. The salon is small but clean and professional. I like the street windowto the salon being open (rather than closed with curtains) so I could see the groomers working inside. It made me feel safe leaving my dogs. Sarah worked patiently with my dogs and they looked great! The first time I brought one dog we had rescued to the salon for grooming, it was obvious that he was too nervous to be groomed. She suggested we delay the grooming and bring him on a day he could come after seeing the vet for a medication that would keep him sedated during the grooming. It worked really well and the next time he was groomed, he did not need to be sedated. By the third visit he really enjoyed going to be groomed! Carol's Pet Salon is a wonderful place to bring your pets. The worst thing is that everyone knows this.... so it may take up to two weeks to get in when you call for an appointment. Nevertheless, it is worth the wait, if you have the time.- Cynthia H.

APetSmart Jefferson City MissouriAnytime I can’t find anything they always help me. The service and the grooming is great. They always went out of their way to give me coupons and deals when I came in also. The groomers were always very flexible and would let me leave the dogs with them for a few hours if I had other appointments and it wouldn’t cost me any extra.- Dana S.
